Ahh, I know that flight well. Although I usually get an early flight for a landing at about mid day. When you get the first blast of arid heat, you know then that your holiday has started. Used to be that you'd need an articulated bus from the Tarmac most of the time. So the first blast was stepping off the plane, not out of the terminal. Just over a hundred days for me, on the 787 Dreamliner. I can't wait.
Nice mate I'm flying to New York in October from Manchester with American Airlines was just curious to see what take off was like from Manchester cause I'm from Glasgow
My sister is on that flight in November I think! 757 isn't it? Manchester is great to take off from, although, the approach when you're landing is pretty boring
They've certainly got a great sound. The RB211's are known for their distinctive 'buzz' when they are powered up. I hope this helps to answer your question. Thanks again :)
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed my video. Surprisingly no, on my return flight home from Tenerife there was some turbulence but hardly noticeable, I'm hoping my flight on Saturday is as smooth as this one was :)
hattan carour Idk,its just not my kinda thing. I don't really like fast things such as rollercoasters etc. so plane takeoffs are like NIGHTMARES. Although, once in the air it isn't too bad.
I don't think there are any differences apart from the livery and maybe the interior colours of the plane, jet2 holidays planes operate the package holiday flights most of the time, but due to the small number off the jet2 holidays branded aircraft, standard jet2.com planes are often used instead as you will see here. :)
Unfortunately jet2.com has only a few destination from Vecsés, Frank List unternational airport please. My exbos's boss usually flies 2 Edinburg or Glasgow from Frank List. As i see, jet2.com has perhaps mo destinations between England n South o Western Europe. Fortunately BUD airport is going to have more and more destinations in this year, but UNfortunately Debrecen "international" airport has still a few destinations. The government doesn't develop the debrecen, DEB airport.
Tssskisksks Uojwdncjojedeviojednwkovjendwvkojwnfd the pilot is lowering the acceleration down - completely normal to hear that sound after take-off, just like taking your foot off the accelerator slightly in a car.
It's not dangerous at all, it's absolutely fine to use most electronic devices at all stages of the flight now as long as airplane mode is switched on!
+Katie Rothwell it's done as a precaution just in case any signals your device gives off when not on airplane mode interfere with things in the cockpit.
Love the buzz saw on the RB211. A beautiful green place Manchester and environs is.
Flying to Tenerife tomorrow from Amsterdam with Transavia. I just can't wait :)
Have a good flight!
Josh Street, that's awesome mate, it's a great seat, you get nice views of the wing and the nice rolls Royce engines ;)
Great video! Love the views of 23L/05R as you climb! You've earned yourself a sub!
Thanks mate! Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the sub, I've subbed back. :)
we love jet 2 it was the day and we love to come back again thank u
I’m going to Tenerife in may for my birthday for 4th time it’s amazing the I love it and you game me the idea to record it when I go thank you 🙏

God that old safety demo, it’s the Yorkshire dude, miss the old demo
I was hoping to find this EXACT video! I'm going from Manchester - Tenerife on Jet2 :)
No better feeling, loved flying with jet2 💯
I've been abroad twice and both with jet 2 but the first time I was so nervous :)
Am a nervous flyer too.
I hate flighing its the most terrifying thing
Love the sunset great video subscribed
Thanks, I'll try and get some good shots on the Dreamliner in October :)
when the 757s retire, I will sure miss that sound of the RB211 engine
I personally hate the first 5 mins of takeoff and the last 1 min of landing and this really helped
I hate the whole flight i hate hights and try to sleep
Oh i do love a good RB211 roar! Such a shame they’ll be retiring soon
I flew from manchester to dalaman flight LS921 on a 757 about 4 months ago. it was the jet2 holidays livery as well
Cool! How did you find the flight? :)
Aviationfan13 quite smooth and nice staff
Ha I flew on a jet2 a330 ls831 to palma de Majorca. It was in the air tanker livery
Excellent takeoff! Good camera work!
Thanks! :)
If i can remember correctly. I believe this seat was 10A. Thanks :)
I think I'm sat in that seat on the way back from gran canaria with them!!
Aviationfan13 Do Jet2-planes fly to and from Debrecen please?
Okay, this is just creepy. I am going from Manchester Airport to Tenerife South Airport. I think I'm sitting in 10A.
That's the exact seat I've booked haha, june 2022 cyprus.
Miss the old safety demo in the Yorkshire accent
Nice vid mate
Thanks mate! :)

At 2.05 look at that van carrying lugagge near the jet 2 plane as it turns the corner some luggage falls off haha was i the only person to see that?
Haha I've never noticed that before, almost looks as If he simply drove off and left it on the floor :)
lol When I was flying from Newcastle on the same aircraft, a baggage truck was flying down a taxiway and the bags tipped out :P
Journey fourteen I saw it hahaha
Lol sad for the person who owns the luggage tho
Was going to point that out lol.
Yes,120,150,170 the three of them are main takeoff speed
Great video.
Thanks! :)
Good video of the flight!
Thanks! The flight was great :)
Nice one pal! Btw just cause you booked with J2 holidays doesnt mean you'll be on a Jet2 Holiday livery plane
I know mate, it's because flight radar was showing it as being a Jet2 Holidays aircraft! :)
Very nice video !! I like this sound *_*
Thanks! :)

Am am going on holiday with jet 2 in a couple of weeks 😎😎😎😎😎
What seat
They still use these right?
Hopefully this will be me and my Mrs's in September 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
amazing :)
Good video nice to watch keep up the good work can I ask one question have you ever had bad turblance
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed my video. Surprisingly no, on my return flight home from Tenerife there was some turbulence but hardly noticeable, I'm hoping my flight on Saturday is as smooth as this one was :)
ok when i went turbulence was shocking so yeah have u seen the privilege style boeing 757 200
I'm going on jet2 to from Belfast to Spain and I HATE takeoff. Does anyone know how fast a plane drives down the runway during takeoff?
Depends how heavy it is, but approximately between the 290-350 km/h or 180-215 mp/h
virtual shelf why do u hate takeoffs?
hattan carour Idk,its just not my kinda thing. I don't really like fast things such as rollercoasters etc. so plane takeoffs are like NIGHTMARES. Although, once in the air it isn't too bad.
virtual shelf 160
virtual shelf I hate them because you're ears pop!!
That Jet2 757 is not G-LSAI, is G-LSAG 0:05
Was definitely G-LSAI mate, I was flying on it after all 😂
Nice Video!
Thanks! :)
Next year im going on Jet2 to go Spain
What terminal did you fly from?
On that flight in October 2018
What's the difference between a jet2 holidays plane and a normal 757?
I don't think there are any differences apart from the livery and maybe the interior colours of the plane, jet2 holidays planes operate the package holiday flights most of the time, but due to the small number off the jet2 holidays branded aircraft, standard jet2.com planes are often used instead as you will see here. :)

You know in 1977 2 747s colided on the only runway at tenerife?
HerobrineDoesMinecraft 123 But the crash with the Pan Am and KLM in 1977 was at TFN (Tenerife Norte)
This time he was flying to TFS (Tenerife Sur)
Nordic Aviation I just realized that. This airport didn't even exist back then
lol
Nordic Aviation Why did you copy what I just said?
Because it was something wrong with my internet so i could not see any answers.
nice vid fella
+john jessup subbed
I’ll be in manny airport on 19th may 23:00pm lmao or 9pm to go to Spain first holiday I’m scared asf
I like aire planes
Cheryl Werbycka same going on one in a few weeks
Kooper troopa 200694 going in 2 days
Cheryl Werbycka same
Aeroplanes*
At 6:21 the engine made me think the plane was gonna crash
Tssskisksks Uojwdncjojedeviojednwkovjendwvkojwnfd the pilot is lowering the acceleration down - completely normal to hear that sound after take-off, just like taking your foot off the accelerator slightly in a car.
0:33 is a shark let a320 or 737
That's an A320 with Sharklets mate. Easyjet only operate airbus aircraft nowadays, they retired the last of their 737's in 2011! :)
It takes 4 hours I'm going there on 25 of may
Is it me or is Jet2 really loud
Awesome
How does it take 14 mins
Through the power of editing...either that or Concorde was dressed up as a 757 for the day ;)
in the video it said it took 4hours xxx
I'm going to record take of and landing
Isn't it dangerous to have your phone on during take off ?
Katie Rothwell yeah your not allowed any devices during takeoff and landing but many youtubers do it I can't see how they get away with it :(
It's not dangerous at all, it's absolutely fine to use most electronic devices at all stages of the flight now as long as airplane mode is switched on!
+Yorkshire Vlogger I've always been told it's dangerous I' thought it did something to the pilot or something 😂😂😂 don't know
+Katie Rothwell it's done as a precaution just in case any signals your device gives off when not on airplane mode interfere with things in the cockpit.
+Aviationfan13
Oh right ok didn't know that
How safe are jet2 planes?
+Roberto rocker 123 I hate jet 2 they took of with 1 engine!!!!!
I think jet2 are a good airline, but I think their planes need replacing, too many technical isssue
I went on Jet2 loads of times. I used to use easyjet.
Very safe
JakePlayz 5775 100% never took off with one engine.
What gate?
If I'm correct I think it was gate 30 or 31, I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure it was one of those two :)
Aviationfan13 what terminal
@@mandnewton9757 terminal 1
At 6:29 it sounds like a lawn mower
I know right
I flew. G lsai from leeds to alicante
Nice :) how was she?
she was a good noise maker and great smooth flyer thanks
Great to hear! Can't beat the sound of those RB211's!!
Yep they are brilliant
Easily in my top 3 favourite engines, just beaten by the GE90 and the Dreamliners GEnx!
Sit there and chill ffs if your going down then your going down!!!!
Don't know what you mean by this comment but thanks anyway :D
I bin abroad 11times 2times with jet2 2times Thomas cook 6times thompson 1ryanair
