@Dimanta No, the people who program the travel websites are not travel agents. They are computer data entry people(most have a high school or community college degree in basic data entry). The data entry is done by low wage workers, many of them overseas, and they work in cubicle farms. They are not sitting in fancy travel agencies in NYC and Miami doing their data entry to websites. It takes about 3 days to train a cubicle worker how to search travel bargains for website entry, woo-hoo!
The first line is complete b.s. "...most people really on travel agents"...ha! Most people go on-line and book travel, hotels & rental cars on their own. Sadly, the days are numbered for travel agents....
@Dimanta The first line in this video is practically a lie: "Whether for business or pleasure most people rely on travel agents to make their travel arrangements." Really? That may have been true 10 years ago, but these days everyone I know, unless they are booking a retirement cruise, do all of the booking themselves. The video goes on to say that travel agents have access to computers(wow!) and computer databases(so does everyone else).The public can bi-pass the travel middleman!

@HunterMann
Do you think websites are programming by themselves and there are no travel agents behind that? Ha!
