Kim is RMs last name. In Korea they write their name last than first. So RM is Namjoon. Nickname Joon. RM is stage name. They actually have a song called Pluto, Moon, Moonchild, etc. maybe u would be interested in hearing those songs. =0]
I suggest you start from the beginning by watching all their MVs in order theres a playlist on youtube somewhere. Its very helpful cuz you get to see their evolution. Ans theres also personality videos you could react to to help you get to know them better Sugarmy makes good ones !
I am 82 and was really depressed and lonely when I saw BTS on utube. Saw Jimin performing with group and their positive messages. They saved me. You are doing a great job. Thanks
I am almost 50 and they helped me find peace of mind and inner strength to make it through 7 of my 9 brain surgeries which led to me having to retire from nursing. God bless BTS and ARMY. Love you all💜🫰💜
I'm 60 here and been following BTS since 2017 And it's been to a couple concerts I love these boys they're like my sons I'll call them my sons I see a lot of A lot of groups in my time but these boys still my heart Stolen
Getting to know BTS is not just about knowing seven famous celebrities; it's like having seven good friends. Friends who can make you smile when you're tired or feeling down. And it’s also like meeting great role models in life who show you how to live with effort, passion, and a positive mindset. Welcome to BTS! 💜😊
Thank you sooo much for giving Bangtan a chance, so many non-fans tend to put them down and call them overrated without knowing a single part of their history or discography. Each and every single member is so talented and deserving of the fame they get💜 Can I recommend their 2021 Festa Room live? You'll love it :)
will comment as I watch... 1:47 Their award count is well over 1400 awards now. They are now the most awarded musical artists in history. 3:35 ARMY calls that Fetus Bangtan. 4:10 That's not actually how it "always is" for Idol Groups (what westerners call KPop.) It's not even how it usually is. The large companies have a lot of money and resources to bankroll their new groups, and they have older groups with established fanbases who can help introduce them to people by collabing with them or having them accompany them to events and shows. The big companies also have relationships with the TV hosts and networks, journalists and shows. They get a LOT of play out of those relationships. Having the new groups on helps ingratiate the large labels to allow the bigger groups on, which pays dividends for the networks. The labels have everyone in their pockets. But BTS' label Big Hit was tiny. They lacked money and connections. They were mistreated as broke upstart misfits who didn't belong in the industry. They were blacklisted and abused by shows, venues, hosts and networks, as well as the other artists. So they took to the internet to vlog and stream their own content - and accidentally got discovered by an international fanbase before they even got big in S Korea. Even still today they are mistreated in their own country, and most of their friends in the music industry come from the West or are S Korean Indie artists. BTS were really born on the internet and are fan supported indie artists, who succeeded against all odds and against targeted hate and attempts to crush them over and over. They succeeded beyond the wildest dreams of anyone, anywhere, to now be the biggest band in the world. They are the most incredible underdog story. 5:15 Yes. Bangtan are goofy. They are so freaking funny. They are infamous for being overboiled chaos everywhere, because they never got the big industry polish and grooming. Their producer, Mr Bang, wanted them to be genuine and authentic. So he never told them how to behave. They are just themselves, honest, silly, playful, chaos. My son says they are "less a band and more 7 goblins in a trench coat" and we LOVE them for it. And ARMY is just like BTS, unhinged crackheads with a cracked sense of humor. There are Bangtan/BTS Hardships videos you can check out if you want more information about all they have been through but prepare yourself. It's awful. It's horrific. And it has never stopped. The bigger they get, the more jealous and desperate their enemies get and the more obsessed crazy people target them. ARMY is VERY protective of our boys. They know that our defense of them helped them survive, over and over, and so they are totally devoted to ARMY. They have a LOT of songs mentioning us, dedicated to us, talking about us, or speaking directly to us. They livestream with us all the time. j-hope was just on live a couple nights ago from his rental in L.A. where he was working on secret projects he won't tell us yet. 7:55 Remember that in S Korea, as in most East Asian countries, the family surname comes first, and the given name is after. His name is Namjoon. His family name is Kim, a common family surname in S Korea that he shares with two unrelated members of BTS, V and Jin. ARMY also call him Joon or Joonie. The other members (in order of this guide) are: Yoongi, Hoseok/j-hope/Hobi, Jin, Jungkook/JK/Kookie Taehyung/Tae/TaeTae/V Jimin. 18:33 Flips are Jimin. 24:14 Yes, Silver as in like the clear tone of silver bell. Pure. 29:10 Something to know here is that this video uses Korean Age not Global Age. Last year S Korea switched to global age counting. Prior to that, they used a system where you were counted as 1 year old at birth and another year older at the new year, even if you were born at the end of December, like V. So most of the ages they mention in this video are 1-2 years older than their actual global age, because they are using the old Korean age counting system. You can use the birthdates given at the intro screen for each member to calculate their accurate global ages. Jungkook was actually 13 when he signed with Big Hit and moved into the dorm with his BTS brothers, far from his hometown of Busan. He was still in middle school. He was a baby. Oldest brother Jin got up every morning to make his breakfast and drive him to school. He was painfully shy and homesick. Jungkook and Jin are the two shyest members of BTS. Jungkook was 15 when the group debuted with him as the Main Vocal, because his voice turned out to be such a powerful instrument, a perfect, clear, rounded pop voice with incredibly stability while dancing hard choreo and singing simultaneously. Namjoon/RM was 15, almost 16, Suga was 17 and j-hope was 16 when they all signed with Big Hit in 2010. Jin was 18, Jungkook was 13 and V was 15, almost 16 when they joined in 2011. Jimin was 17 when he joined in 2012. When they debuted Namjoon was 18, Jin was 20, Suga was 20, j-hope had just turned 19, Jimin and V were 17 and baby brother JK was 15. 31:00 That is JK's solo song about his brothers, called Begin. It's from BTS album Wings, a masterpiece. All the members have some solo songs on BTS group albums also. 35:10 Yeah....he is our tender hearted, shy baby energizer bunny boy, and no, he doesn't look it..... th-cam.com/video/7wHkKuxIYEU/w-d-xo.html 41:00 Those clips are mostly from their variety show RUN BTS. You can watch BTS content on their platform Weverse (app download or web) or their official TH-cam channels BANGTANTV, Bighit Music Offical and HYBE Labels. Hybe is the company BTS built. They made Big Hit so big that they bought a bunch of other labels and reformed under HYBE. All the labels operate more or less independently under HYBE as a legal umbrella. BTS members are the 5th largest shareholders in HYBE. A couple years ago they built a huge new high rise for the company, and they are now the largest music entertainment company in S Korea, all built on BTS backs. Their label is still Big Hit though. 44:20 Fastest song to reach 100 iTunes #1s means Number 1 in 100 countries. Every country has their own chart for iTunes. Just like when it said RM's album Mono had set the record for the most number 1s, it meant in the most countries. In fact, the rap line of BTS (RM, Suga and j-hope) are the only rappers in the world to have an album that is #1 in 110 countries, and EACH of the three of them have a solo album that is number 1 in 110 different countries. No one touches BTS. No one comes close. 48:50 We don't mind you pausing. We're here for your reaction and your thoughts. We all know this video by heart anyway. LOL 51:44 While BTS are incredibly philanthropic and we follow their lead, this is ARMY charity initiatives. ARMY moves on our own. We do these things in honor of them, or to celebrate special occasions like their birthdays. BTS and ARMY are less a band and their fans and more a global social movement whose mission is to bring love and healing to the world through music. BTS and ARMY give me hope in this bleak world. Welcome to ARMY girl. Borahae! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Amazing comment, but I would just disagree with your statement that BTS do not have many friends within the mainstream Korean industry. We know that they have many idol friends and it is also my belief that they may have in fact dated idols themselves but we know that the toxic shippers make it impossible for them to be open about any of this.
@@djlivvy46 Thank you, but I meant in the Idol industry, not the S Korean music industry as a whole. They have said themselves many times that they don't have many friends in the Idol industry, that they were very isolated for many years and kind of circled their wagons and only leaned on each other. They are making friends now, but still most of their friends are not Idols, they are indie artists. Most of their collabs are with indie artists or western artists too. Now that HYBE has multiple labels and groups, they are starting to make more Idol friends through work. But most of those are younger artists who they mentor, not same age or older friends. Some exceptions are that they were always friendly with GOT7 and SHINEE. But basically Idols were told by their companies to steer clear of them, and most did, or even were unfriendly to them. Only Idols who didn't listen to the industry pressure were friendly to them.
Thank you for taking the time to add your thoughts. I was going to do the same but spotted your comment saying everything i wanted to say. You saved me a lot of typing time. Thank you 💜
Great comment. And good luck with your foster baby. 💜 (My son was born with special needs and I appreciate how much additional work that can mean in parenting.)
It's 10+ years of history, so you can only imagine how many hardships they had to go through. It's even harder for BTS because they did not have the privilege to debut under a big company. 70% of the popular groups that exist today are literally from the Big 3 companies of kpop, the rest 30% are under the company(HYBE) built upon BTS's success
Fun fact. RM learned English by watching the TV show Friends. If you end up starting to watching compilations I would recommend sugarmyy as the main one, there are a couple others, im sure army will let you know, i just can't think of them right now 💜
One of the best parts about the fandom is the diversity of age groups, this is not common for every kpop group. You might have noticed in the creator studio, that there are more adult fans of BTS than the teenagers. This is also the reason why BTS is able to sell out anything, be it any merch, concert tickets or even the products that they don't even advertise like their airport outfits, products they use in random vlogs etc.. This also benefits lot of BTS reaction channels who have patreon
My daughter introduced me to BTS a few years back she was 14 at the time and with a big crush on Jin (she still does). I was drown by RM immediately, his intelligence, his speeches, his poise, his voice and his leadership. Then I started listening to their music and watching RUN BTS during the pandemic and I fell for them all. My daughter is 19 now and I’m 52, and we are proud ARMYs. I have a big Koya 🐨 on my bed, My husband never complains, he knows that’s his place 😂😂💜
Welcome to crazy World of Kpop, stay clear of toxic controversial side and ignore all ANTIs/Netizens they’re immature socially brainwashed individuals.
Yes, ARMYS are an amazing community. Anyone acting up is not ARMY, they are unstable people who need help and as ellie_jeann says, you should stay clear of them. That includes solo stans - those are people obsessed with one member and who try to say they are better than all the others or that the company or other members mistreat them or some other BS. Just ignore them. Unfortunately, there are a LOT of Jimin solo stans on TH-cam (there seem to be solo stans for different members on different platforms) so you will have them coming out of the woodwork when you do Jimin solo stuff. Jimin is spectacular, but just ignore their BS about him being the best member or the most famous member or the most talented or whatever. Jimin would be hella offended by that kind of talk. Each member has their own skills and talents that contribute to the whole, and they are honestly all amazing. Also, enemies of BTS, antis and such, like to cosplay as ARMY and act up online just to give us a bad name. People acting up are not ARMYs. We don't claim them. It's totally fine to have a bias though (a favorite member who really just touches you or whose work resonates with you or whose personality appeals to you, etc) or more than one bias. Many ARMYs are Ot7 (7 member bias/can't choose/rotating bias.) I'm rap line biased and especially SOPE biased myself (Suga/j-hope but j-hope is my ult bias.) I detect an immediate affinity for Jimin and V in you, but give yourself time. If you end up with a bias, it won't be a choice...you won't be able to control your heart and it will just happen.
Yes, agree. And listen to advises and recommendations, but choose as you want yourself. It’s your channel and your reactions so you decide how you want to do them. 💜
Hi...i liked your genuine reaction and appriciation to the members, that was Jimin jumping over J-Hope at the begining,he do the most of the acrobatics in BTS songs becouse of his background in marshal arts, subscribing to follow your jurney in discovering BTS and all the members in their solo era.You nice keep going, like Jimin said
I initially joined the fandom with Jungkook as my bias, but over time, I grew to become a devoted supporter of all the members. I've never understood why some fans praise their bias while disrespecting another member. Each member's unique qualities and contributions make the group who they are. I hope you'll join me in showing equal love and support to all of them, even if you have your own bias someday! We're glad to have you with us💜
You're gonna love Suga/Agust D (Yoongie). First Love and Snooze is a must watch. As well as his song Agust D and the Last. All the members are great but I love the emotions from Yoongie.
Hi dear. 69yo ARMY here (Older ARMYs are known as Silver ARMYs). We ARMYs have a saying...BTS finds you when you need them the most. They will bring joy and love to your heart. And plus all the love you'll get from fellow ARMYs as well. It's a beautiful thing. Welcome to ARMY sweet dear.💜
Jungkook is not sensitive anymore . He is lot mature now. He is adorable i like his personality.he is my bias in bts from start . But i love all of them. All are my bias wreckers
Jungkook loves to wear black clothing, and she does too. She seems a little introverted, like Yoongi, but sweet. I do not know; that is just my point of view. 😭
RM stands for Real Me now, he said in 2017 that the name rap monster didn’t fit his image anymore and didn’t want to be boxed in as a rapper, bc he is genius poet, artist, songwriter and producer.....
When RM said replacement he meant like if JK or any of the member got injured or sick, none of them can replace each other spots without the performance feeling empty.....
In Korea the last name comes first , Kim (last name ) Namjoon (first name). Also, up until this year Korea did not follow the international age standard. At birth you are already 1 year old and the next new year you become 2 years old and for some people you are 3 years old on your first birthday, it all depends when you were born in 1 calendar year. So when you watch some of their variety shows and other contents when they say how old they are you subtract 1-2 years. So January 1,2024 every one in Korea got younger by 1-2 years.
It's okay to get emotional, don't need to worry about it. Believe me, also any Army can agreed with me on this, there isn't any single time that I didn't get emotional with any guide to the guys... It touch my soul every single time... With that being said, welcome to this amazing "rabbit hole"💜
Enjoyed your reaction. Here’s a bit of info as clarification: - in Korean they show the surname first and then the given name, e.g., in Korea it’s Park Jimin, while in the US it would read as Jimin Park - Jimin is the one who does the flips typically - In Korean, they counted age differently: age at birth is one and then everyone turns a year older on January 1st. So that means that in Western standards Jungkook was actually only 14 when he started as a trainee - the guys lived together from about 2010/2011 to 2020 or so, and they are as close as family to each other As others have already said, I’m certain you would love watching the Run BTS show. They’ve been doing it for several years and have over 150 episodes. The guys are hilarious and never fail to make me smile. So watching some of the episodes might really be fun for you as your next step in the BTS journey. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 OT7😀
Thanks for your reaction. Fyi Jimins song Promise was the most streamed song on Spotify at that time with over 300 million not 30 million 😅 recently his song Who became the most streamed song by a KPop Artist on Spotify US 🙌🏻❤️
Your fine for pausing it definitely okay we don't mind as well you keep doing you girl and us Army will be here for ya whenever you have questions or just wanna chat always here. And I love your reactions you are so sweet and so kind I'm blessed to have seen your videos and get to know you as well I'm a subscriber for sure. We purple you and BORAHAE can't wait to see more of your videos 💜 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
The BTS Guide by Taylor is a good BTS Intro Guide, but it's already more than a couple years old. If you want to see the most recent update of BTS Guide you might want to check out the 6 month old Long Guide to BTS. Here is the link: th-cam.com/video/CnrhrMFTilU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=2AjoDJAhKPLTYN7Q Also. Here's how I can best describe each members style of music based on their solo projects RM - alternative, rap, r&b Suga - hiphop, rap, r&B JHope - electronic dance music, hiphop Jin - ballad rock Jimin - Pop, (sometimes alternative R&B), K-pop Jungkook - Pop, EDM, disco funk, pop ballad V - R&B, Soul, Jazz, Lo-fi, blues, "coffeeshop music"
Like many others, I became a fan because of their music and dance; but I'm ARMY because of them as human beings. It's so difficult to describe to people why I love these random men from SK so much. It's one of those, you either get it or you don't. Of course their music is amazing and that's enough. It has gotten me through the good time and the bad. But it's so much deeper than that, because I've NEVER seen anything like the relationship between BTS and ARMY. It's truly special. A once in a lifetime gift, and I'm so, SO glad I'm alive when they are, to be able to experience the joy of BTS first hand.
You will love lie by Jimin live and his albums face and muse, RM Wildflower MV, Suga so far away, daechwita, J-hope Arson, JIn Epiphany and his new album Happy, Jk WITH golden album and V's Stigma and friends are some of my fav
The flips and mid air kicks are a Jimin the contemporary Dancer, Singer, songwriter and Martial Art Expert. They all are outstanding artists every single one of them. 7 Super Artists on one Global Mega Group.
Welcome to Boraland! Purple Nation embraces you. You are going to have SO MUCH FUN! You have so much amazing content to discover and we will be right there for you. ARMY is the best!
Oh also I love the soft music you have playing in your intro and outro I love it. Its okay to get emotional trust me I've cried so many times but we are hear for you girl its okay.💜💜💜💜💜
Actually, V made up the whole thing about the meaning of purple, in response to ARMY showing up with purple coverings for their lightsticks (this was before the latest edition that are Bluetooth enabled and can flash colors). That's okay, ARMY ran with it.
BTS are the Celestials & Gods of Twitter, so much so twitter banned their names and thing related to them from trending bc they always trend, especially the younger members Jimin,Taehyung and Jungkook.......
Jungkook actually joined at 13, he just turned 27 two months ago, he also has a big ARMY tattoo on his right hand and All of them also have a '7' tattoo on different parts of their body
RM first nickname was Rap Monster then he changed to Real Man but his last name is Kim, his first name is Nam-joon and ARMYs call him Joonie. The members last (family names) names are first in "KOREAN". Jin - Kim Seok-jin , Suga- Min Yoon-Gi, J-Hope-Jung Ho-Seok; V- Kim Tae-hyung, Jungkook-Jeon Jung-kook, Jimin-Park Jimin.
Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty. Kim is RMs last name. In Korea they write their name last than first. So RM is Namjoon. Nickname Joon. RM is stage name. They actually have a song called Pluto, Moon, Moonchild, etc. maybe u would be interested in hearing those songs. =0] They got a lot of hate because they were a new group who was trying to grow. But their label was small and the big 3 agencies did not like that. So they tried everything to break BTS up. No that was Jimin doing the flip in the beginning. =0} Aww, i am so glad BTS was able to give u energy and make u happy with only 2 songs. Girl, RM is fluent in Eng and he is the same guy speaking, lol. Hugs. YG, JYP and SM are the Big 3 agencies in Kpop. They were at the UN 3 times. BTS was a hip hop group when they debuted so of course rappers where the 1st to join. Suga was actually a b-boy when he joined the other trainees. But due to a severe injury he did not want to dance anymore because it was very painful. He finally had surgery in 2020 so now he can go back to dancing and having fun. Jhope is main dancer, dance leader, lead rapper and sub vocal. Jhope joined as a dancer. He did not rap at all before learning from RM & Suga. JK was 13yo when he joined Big Hit. He was 14/15yo when he debuted. The song he sang was Begin his 1st solo song. U was asking about it. Jimin's voice is that high and that soft yes. No it's not an effect. When u hear more songs u will understand. He has a very unique voice due to his hard work. BTS has a few documentaries plus a book. U can watch them on Weverse I believe. The book u can buy on Amazon or Kindle. Jin and Jhope both finished the army. Jin the oldest just released his 1st album HAPPY on Nov 15. Hope u can check it out. His single I'll be There is already out. There is an MV and a live. Running Wild MV is out now it's his title track. JHope is relaxing so far and working on something special. The other members will be back next year June 2025. All the members have one to 2 albums now. Suga is the only one who did a solo tour. It was sold out and broke records as to be expected. So glad u gave this a watch. It's an old one but a good summary nonetheless. If u have a great memory than maybe u don't need to take notes. But i have a terrible memory and i take notes plus rewatch reactions to this guide. U know i have seen it like 100 times by now. i hope u check out the new guide soon A LONG AND HELPFUL GUIDE TO BTS (2024) by Purple Snow th-cam.com/video/CnrhrMFTilU/w-d-xo.html . I guess u should also watch Who Is BTS, This Is BTS: Introduction (part 1), BTS contribution to music, BTS from nobodies to legend 2019. "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS" 2022 by Rice Squad. If u want to know them more :) Btw there are 7 members of BTS (3 rappers & 4 vocalist). U can watch their old lives on Weverse it's an app and site they Big Hit created. And yes follow them on Instagram they created their accounts so they can post from the military. But honestly they can't post much. They are busy bees. The lives are also found on YT but i don't recall the channels sorry. If u love dancing follow and check out Steezy channel they show and breakdown a few BTS choreo's it's cool. Dance practices are a must watch for sure but also performance videos. In the SOOP is vacation in Korea. Somewhere private. Bon Voyage is a trip to another country. Boy with Luv ft. Halsey was my intro song performance on an award show live in May 2019. My ult bias is Jimin, Suga wrecker, OT7. Taylor summed things up very well. She used info from various guides by others and changed a few things. They have i think 800 + awards now and growing. RM is the only one fluent in Eng. Though he is rusty these days not enough interaction. JK been studying more. Jimin been studying too and Jhope. All the younger bands and solo artists use BTS as inspiration to find fans. Especially small label groups. Seventeen (a 13 member group) has mental health songs too which i find very cool. The awards are in a BTS Museum in Korea. I liked hearing ur thoughts. =0] It's exactly how i felt on 1st watch. Inspired. =0] Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army 💜 #ThankYouTaylor Ellie Jeann said on 4/5/23 As of this year, they have won over 900+ awards which includes solely and as a group on top side projects that have done past 10 years that continue break records and make history. 3:46 They became the first Kpop male group to perform and speak twice at the UN Assembly. 5:44 BTS started as undiscovered talent in their hometowns but many tend to get confused when seeing this specific scene which is from their episode 8 finale of mini-series #BTSAmericanHustleLife that was filmed in los Angeles (2014). It was part a mission of learning how to ‘self-promote’ by standing on the sidewalk trying to randomly invite people to their mini concert as well as learned from a few western artists under supervision of coolio and warren g throughout the episodes before they performed at the end of the show where they did “no more dream” and “we are bulletproof pt2” along with an ending encore to show what they’ve learned during the final episode. (THOSE WERENT ALL RANDOM PEOPLE 😂 IT WAS A STAGED SCENE BUT MANY OF THOSE INDIVIDUALS KNEW BTS WAS AND THEY WERE THERE WAITING FOR THE MINI SHOWCASE TO START). @femmy-syahrani said Since this video in May 2022, a LOT has happened. First, in June they released an anthology album "Proof" and then announced that they would pause making music as a group and focus on solo work. This is partly because they have to do their mandatory military service for 18-21 months. J-hope was the first to officially debut as a solo artist, releasing the album "Jack in the Box" in July and headlined in Lollapalooza later that month. The album tells a compelling story from beginning to end, with singles "More and "Arson". They held a free concert in Busan in October, livestreamed also for free all over the world. Jin released a single "The Astronaut" in October, co-written by Coldplay and performed the song at a Coldplay stadium concert in Argentina. The two bands are very close friends. He joined the military shortly after. RM released his album "Indigo" in December. A masterful journey through the genres, with singles "Wildflower" and "Still Life" ft. Anderson Paak. Jimin released "Face" in March, telling about his emotional journey during the pandemic., with singles "Set Me Free Pt. 2" and "Like Crazy". J-hope released the single "On the Street" ft. J. Cole, and joined the military shortly after. Then Suga/Agust D released "D-Day" in April, an exploration on the theme of liberation, and then embarked on his world tour. We are anticipating albums from V and JK later this year, and likely from Jin after his service. Please note that before these official debuts, all members have released solo work, with all rappers releasing mixtapes and all singers releasing singles. But these past works were not officially released, meaning they were not available on Korean music platforms and not all were available on Spotify or iTunes. Most were gifts for fans, released on Soundcloud and with little to no promotion. They plan to reconvene as a group in 2025 after they all completed their military service. Jungkook's dreamers. @itsbonniefay2417 said on 11/13/23 BTS started from the bottom and they've come all this way, ARMY walking up this mountain together with them... it's so inspiring to see that genuine hardwork and a love and passion for your craft can succeed and have such a spectacular impact on the world. I think of their story and how these 7 kids from all different places in South Korean came together and just worked and worked with no rewards, releasing their first album after years of training and selling 34 copies on it's first day. 2 days less of 8 years later they would release their anthology album Proof and sell 2.15 million copies on the first day... I feel so much pride to see how far they've come. I can't wait to see their synergy and bond in 2025, I'm sure it'll be stronger than ever.
In Korean, the last name is first. So for Kim Namjoon, his last name is Kim, his first name is Namjoon. People affectionately call him Joon or Joonie which is a pretty cute name for a genius
Jin has a song called MOON, that he wrote for ARMY. And RM has a song called Moonchild. I think you will like both of the songs. FYI - all seven members have their own solo projects, and they are all very successful.
V 'Winter Ahead' jazz pop collaboration with Park Hyo Shin “The music video teaser for 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' will be released on the HYBE Labels TH-cam channel on November 25th and 27th at midnight. "WINTER AHEAD BY V RELEASING ON NOV 29 AND WHITE CHRISTMAS BY V RELEASING ON DEC 6"
V. is very handsome He is what got me into BTS Worldwide handsome of the year day 3-4 He's an icon for new idols they look up to him Stage presence That man can find a camera anywhere Is a Is a representative for Gucci And another 1 help me out army what's the other
In Korea surname first before their name. So Rm real name is Namjoon, Kim is his surname. So name goes like this SeokJin Kim, Yoongi Min, Jung Hoseok, Namjoon Kim, Jimin Park, Taehyung Kim and Jungkook Jeon.
Helpful hint for the guide: Not sure if you know.... Korean people used to count age differently to others...The members were only 13-18 years old when they joined BTS and 15-20 yo when they debuted. Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. In Korean age when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on lunar newyear every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 Jin 1992 - 20 yo Suga 1993- 20 yo Suga started with MIDI at 11 JHope 1994 - 19 yo RM 1994 - 18 yo RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13 and signed with BigHit at 16. Jimin 1995 - 17 yo V 1995 - 17 yo JK 1997 - 15 yo he signed with big hit at 13 Rule of thumb - in older videos and Korean interviews, if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. The Korean Government has recently (June28 2023) brought in international age as the standard in Korea, but all older videos/ interviews/ shows, will be referencing Korean age. 💜Have a great day (53yo ARMY from Australia 🇦🇺)
Here is why as ‘Ole Goats’…..would never check nor give you a ‘like’ ? We are every where. As BTS….Army….who knew them. Long before the rest of the World did? Sit back. Watched…casually……you ‘New’ BTS fans. Bless……Welcome to the largest family in the world…called ‘Army’. Either love or hate them …as you check their vids. Your choice. Either way. BTS Army……who’ve followed them since 2013………………..WE BEEN FOLLOWING THEM SINCE DAY ONE. ………
They start young because SKorea treats music like most of the rest of the world treats sports - as something that takes a lot of early training to get good.
35:18 Idols going live and talking to their fans is a BIG part of the Kpop industry. Either through IG live, V-live, Weverse, they all go on their to connect with their fans and this is part of why idols and their fans have such a deep connection compared to the Western industry.
In Korea they say the surname first. So in the US a John Smith there would be Smith John. So the family name is Kim. Min Yoongi, Suga, the family name is Min. His ‘first name’ is Yoongi. Hope that helps.
Taylor really did an amazing job with this intro *but* she mainly focused on the positive story. In order to truly understand what they've gone through you'll need to combine it with xCeleste's video BTS Hardships 2013-2021 (linked below). It's quite infuriating tbh but it goes a long way to explaining the uniquely strong relationship between the members and the fandom. BTS Hardships 2013-2021: th-cam.com/video/EdY6wnLsetQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=N4cKZsUgMND_JQVi 💜
Love you girl your so sweet ❤, I hope you love them and remember Bts always show up in your life when you more need them. Can you pls react to “spring day” and the video explanation of the song its beautiful ❤.
Welcome to the Army Enjoy your trip. You can stop as often as you need it too, don't shy away from flushing back, that only shows us that your interest is meant seriously We appreciate honest reaction and yes also show emotions is ok they will laugh more often and cry so just have fun and borahea💜
I see the gojo plushie.. Jungkook loves Gojo btw. Fun fact: Before Jujutsu Kaisen aired, we used to know JJK as Jeon Jungkook. His brother is also a huge fan of Attack on Titan(my fav show) Live performances are where they shine the most, I will recommend you to check out 'Dimple and Pied Piper live performance!
Like and Subscribe if you want to go along with me on this BTS journey, It's just getting started!
Feel free to comment any music videos ect you would like to see me react to in the future 💜
Most of us became fans because of their music and dance...but we became ARMY because of who they are as people. 💜
Exactly!!
Yes. This.
Yesssss!!!!
"I get sad when they are sad"... Well girl, welcome to the world of ARMYs 😊💜
Bts has 1400+ Awards
it's said BTS finds you when you most need them
I am 82 and was really depressed and lonely when I saw BTS on utube.
Each and every single member is so talented and deserving of the fame they get💜
Can I recommend their 2021 Festa Room live? You'll love it :)
Yes. This is a 10 minute medley that gives you a taste of a bunch of different songs, but done live. A nice choice.
will comment as I watch...
1:47
Their award count is well over 1400 awards now. They are now the most awarded musical artists in history.
3:35
ARMY calls that Fetus Bangtan.

That's not actually how it "always is" for Idol Groups (what westerners call KPop.) It's not even how it usually is.
5:15
Yes.
7:55
Remember that in S Korea, as in most East Asian countries, the family surname comes first, and the given name is after. His name is Namjoon. His family name is Kim, a common family surname in S Korea that he shares with two unrelated members of BTS, V and Jin. ARMY also call him Joon or Joonie. The other members (in order of this guide) are:
Yoongi,
Hoseok/j-hope/Hobi,
Jin,
Jungkook/JK/Kookie
Taehyung/Tae/TaeTae/V
Jimin.
18:33
Flips are Jimin.
24:14
Yes, Silver as in like the clear tone of silver bell. Pure.
29:10
Something to know here is that this video uses Korean Age not Global Age.
31:00
That is JK's solo song about his brothers, called Begin. It's from BTS album Wings, a masterpiece. All the members have some solo songs on BTS group albums also.

Yeah....he is our tender hearted, shy baby energizer bunny boy, and no, he doesn't look it.....

Those clips are mostly from their variety show RUN BTS.
44:20
Fastest song to reach 100 iTunes #1s means Number 1 in 100 countries.
48:50
We don't mind you pausing. We're here for your reaction and your thoughts. We all know this video by heart anyway. LOL
51:44
While BTS are incredibly philanthropic and we follow their lead, this is ARMY charity initiatives.
@@djlivvy46
Thank you, but I meant in the Idol industry, not the S Korean music industry as a whole.
@@djlivvy46 Sorry for all the edits on reply. I am fostering a special needs infant and was kid wrangling and distracted.
35:58 Girl just fell in LLLLOOOOVEE with Tae. 🤣🤣🤣
Hii!! Please react to there funny moments!! You will get to know their personality’s even more. Thank you! Love watching ur reactions. 💕
You’re going to fall in love with them…💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Hi...i liked your genuine reaction and appriciation to the members, that was Jimin jumping over J-Hope at the begining,he do the most of the acrobatics in BTS songs becouse of his background in marshal arts, subscribing to follow your jurney in discovering BTS and all the members in their solo era.You nice keep going, like Jimin said
I initially joined the fandom with Jungkook as my bias, but over time, I grew to become a devoted supporter of all the members.
👀 Your eyes at 36:00 for Tae LOL I feel you! His duality is insane!! Singularity is an EXPERIENCE! 🔥🔥💜
You give me Jungkook or Yoongi vibes for whatever reason but I could be totally wrong 🥰
Jungkook loves to wear black clothing, and she does too. She seems a little introverted, like Yoongi, but sweet.
I do not know; that is just my point of view. 😭
@ my thoughts exactly ofc we can’t judge by videos but why is “ yoonkook “ the first thing I thought of now 😂😂
RM stands for Real Me now, he said in 2017 that the name rap monster didn’t fit his image anymore and didn’t want to be boxed in as a rapper, bc he is genius poet, artist, songwriter and producer.....
It's said that ARMYs are always just one "bogo shipta" away from bursting into tears.

Jimins definitely not shy towards army hes the biggest flirt when it comes to army lmao 😆
Jimin flirts with everyone, not just ARMY. It's just his natural state of being. Like breathing. He is a FLIRT!
Enjoyed your reaction. Here’s a bit of info as clarification:
- in Korean they show the surname first and then the given name, e.g., in Korea it’s Park Jimin, while in the US it would read as Jimin Park
- Jimin is the one who does the flips typically
- In Korean, they counted age differently: age at birth is one and then everyone turns a year older on January 1st. So that means that in Western standards Jungkook was actually only 14 when he started as a trainee
- the guys lived together from about 2010/2011 to 2020 or so, and they are as close as family to each other
As others have already said, I’m certain you would love watching the Run BTS show. They’ve been doing it for several years and have over 150 episodes. The guys are hilarious and never fail to make me smile. So watching some of the episodes might really be fun for you as your next step in the BTS journey.
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 OT7😀
Great comment!💜
Jimin is the one that flips
Thanks for your reaction. Fyi Jimins song Promise was the most streamed song on Spotify at that time with over 300 million not 30 million 😅 recently his song Who became the most streamed song by a KPop Artist on Spotify US 🙌🏻❤️

Also. Here's how I can best describe each members style of music based on their solo projects
RM - alternative, rap, r&b
Suga - hiphop, rap, r&B
JHope - electronic dance music, hiphop
Jin - ballad rock
Jimin - Pop, (sometimes alternative R&B), K-pop
Jungkook - Pop, EDM, disco funk, pop ballad
V - R&B, Soul, Jazz, Lo-fi, blues, "coffeeshop music"
I mean, Jin was kinda freaking out when the Tuna dance went viral. He begged us not to spread it, that the song was just for fun 🤣
Great emotionally réactions 💜 this IS BTS universe 💜😊 a lot of great souvenirs to share with 7+A to enjoy for sure 😅
The one dancing in the black swan mv you talk about is Jimin. And oc RM's english is really good, he's fluent 😂
Yay!
You will love lie by Jimin live and his albums face and muse, RM Wildflower MV, Suga so far away, daechwita, J-hope Arson, JIn Epiphany and his new album Happy, Jk WITH golden album and V's Stigma and friends are some of my fav
the clip shown where jimin was hitting the high note was from film out. His voice is very unique.
True
He is a Counter Tenor. Rare.

Jimin has alot ot tattoos so does jungkook but all the members had a 7 on them to their friendship and brotherhood.
Keep it up they are tremendous group of guys
RM first nickname was Rap Monster then he changed to Real Man but his last name is Kim, his first name is Nam-joon and ARMYs call him Joonie. The members last (family names) names are first in "KOREAN". Jin - Kim Seok-jin , Suga- Min Yoon-Gi, J-Hope-Jung Ho-Seok; V- Kim Tae-hyung, Jungkook-Jeon Jung-kook, Jimin-Park Jimin.
he mentioned 'Real Me'
@ yes that also. I think he was trying to find himself , I’ve seen both. No matter, he’s the real deal to me!💜
I think we got a VMin biased 😂
Inspired. =0] Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army 💜 #ThankYouTaylor

As of this year, they have won over 900+ awards which includes solely and as a group on top side projects that have done past 10 years that continue break records and make history.

Since this video in May 2022, a LOT has happened.

BTS started from the bottom and they've come all this way, ARMY walking up this mountain together with them... it's so inspiring to see that genuine hardwork and a love and passion for your craft can succeed and have such a spectacular impact on the world.
The members are hilariously funny and so down to earth.
Welcome to this beautiful Journey, Bts 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🇵🇷
☺️🥰💜 ahh, bem vinda army
Thank you for your sweet reaction. I hope you enjoy your journey. 💜 A Dutch army
You are so sweet :) ty for reacting to the boys! Bts are one of a kind fr 💜
LOVE the Gojo Ita plushies btw so cute
In Korean, the last name is first. So for Kim Namjoon, his last name is Kim, his first name is Namjoon. People affectionately call him Joon or Joonie which is a pretty cute name for a genius
I love u rxn girl and welcome to the rabbit hole borahae 💜💜💜💜
remember that in Korea they have their family name first and their given name second.
V are social butterfly. He has a group of friend actors Call the Wooga squad Check them out
Jin is the Moon and we (Army) are his Earth....he even has a song called "Moon"!!
Jin has a song called MOON, that he wrote for ARMY. And RM has a song called Moonchild. I think you will like both of the songs. FYI - all seven members have their own solo projects, and they are all very successful.
V 'Winter Ahead' jazz pop collaboration with Park Hyo Shin
“The music video teaser for 'Winter Ahead (with PARK HYO SHIN)' will be released on the HYBE Labels TH-cam channel on November 25th and 27th at midnight.
"WINTER AHEAD BY V RELEASING ON NOV 29 AND WHITE CHRISTMAS BY V RELEASING ON DEC 6"

The way your eyes sparkled when V appeared!! 🤩 I love all of them but V is the one for me!
I was the only one who noticed that she has a moon hanging on her wall, and Jimin literally has almost the same tattoo on his back.
Actually Jungkook was 13 when he joined Bighit and moved into the dorm. literally a kid

In Korea surname first before their name. So Rm real name is Namjoon, Kim is his surname. So name goes like this SeokJin Kim, Yoongi Min, Jung Hoseok, Namjoon Kim, Jimin Park, Taehyung Kim and Jungkook Jeon.
Ждем реакцию на живые выступления.
Добро пожаловать в ряды Арми💜💜💜
Helpful hint for the guide: Not sure if you know.... Korean people used to count age differently to others...The members were only 13-18 years old when they joined BTS and 15-20 yo when they debuted.
Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust.
In Korean age when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on lunar newyear every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is.
Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13
Jin 1992 - 20 yo
Suga 1993- 20 yo Suga started with MIDI at 11
JHope 1994 - 19 yo
RM 1994 - 18 yo RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13 and signed with BigHit at 16.
Jimin 1995 - 17 yo
V 1995 - 17 yo
JK 1997 - 15 yo he signed with big hit at 13
Rule of thumb - in older videos and Korean interviews, if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age.
The Korean Government has recently (June28 2023) brought in international age as the standard in Korea, but all older videos/ interviews/ shows, will be referencing Korean age.
💜Have a great day
(53yo ARMY from Australia 🇦🇺)
Hahah junbook i'm using that from now on.
John-book going wild with this one
V has a beautiful hazel-brown eyes that looks alot like a tiger eyes.......

I see the gojo plushie.. Jungkook loves Gojo btw.
Fun fact: Before Jujutsu Kaisen aired, we used to know JJK as Jeon Jungkook. His brother is also a huge fan of Attack on Titan(my fav show)
Live performances are where they shine the most, I will recommend you to check out 'Dimple and Pied Piper live performance!
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 OT7
7:51 His real name is Namjoon and Kim is the family name or surname. And they all have a stage name too. His is RM.
