I am 83 )my husband ,and I lived a nomadic life for 30 years !The freedom and happiness we enjoyed are my happiest memories ! We were migrant workers and the people worked with became friends even so only for a season ! We worked with all ethnic groups ,they were “good people “ just making their way throughout life and raising their kids ! My husband passed away 6 years ago !but I have like I said happy memories ! Don’t let life pass you by Take life where you want go ! You can’t take any thing out of this world nothing but you can leave something of value behind good deeds or just teach people we are all one Family the Family oof mankind Blessed Be

2000 dropped off at a homeless shelter by my brother. 2000-2007 fought for my life and for survival. Mid 2007 someone near and dear to me was murdered. Late 2007 went into treatment......2009 started my career helping the homeless and addicted at the same organization that helped save my life. 2019 Became the Executive Director of that very same Organization. Oxford House Foundation of Canada. 11yrs later........forever grateful and continue to help people help themselves.

Get yourself a place of your own. Find an investment, then take out a loan for that investment, and GIVE IT YOUR ALL. If you just sit around and say " It's not possible" then IT WONT be possible. Much love.

Somethings about this speech are so true but eliminating people from your lives because they're doing shit to you they might not even know they're doing isn't right. Yeah they might piss me off and bring me down but I know they have they're own problems and that's why they are the way they are. Support them no matter what because that's what we all need right? Same here I'm 25 and studied Computer Science because I didn't know what to do. My mum always told me "become an art and history teacher" (because I'm very talented and interested in it since I was a kid) but I studied sth I was very bad at. My computer skills were like 0 also in mathematics. But I continued and did it. It was kinda a proof for me that if you are willing to do something others said that you are not capable of because your grades were bad at schools in these subjects, you can do it. But I'm not lucky with my degree. Because I don't know where to work what to do. I worked at the university as a Scientist assistant in the office of my professor. He wanted me being a part of the team so badly. The money was good. I kept doing this. But I was not happy. I quit. I never felt more happier in my life the day I quit the work. But the uncertainty of what to do right now is just killing me. I have no idea. I have so many interests....

There are bigger issues. But young people, me included, were extremely spoiled throughout childhood (still am, lucky me. But well I try to express a lot of gratitude for what I have). It took me until, almost, my seventeen birthday to understand that I never was a victim. That sense of entitlement is just wrong.

Success for me is beating this cancer or any of my health goals and living as long as I can, trying to focus on my happiness, health and being surrounded by loved ones (mostly animals!). If you go through life expecting to be treated fairly by life, you'll spend your life being unhappy. #2. There is really only one person in this world who has the power to destroy your happiness and success -- that person is you. All those who you think are your enemies are irrelevant.
