The Provider is a double wrapped, low profile vulc, designed for skating, and introduces for the first time ever, our G6 Plus Drop In Footbed. This insole is made from Emerica’s newest blend of the G6 Formula, reinforced for an even higher level of comfort & stability.
The Upper uses a minimalist design, with a strengthened toecap for durability. Our Triangle Tread has also been modified for more flex, merging with our classic non-slip desert grip, creating a hybrid outsole with a perfect grip balance.

This is a solid third shoe, but really just looks like a modified version of the Provost Slim. And by default, these are essential Emerica and Colin’s version of the Vans Old Skool.
I really wanted to like the original Provost as it replaced the Reynolds Cruiser, but it could never scratch that itch that the Cruisers provided. I heard that the Provost Slim was a solid replacement. Now we have the Provider. The new cushioning system is certainly interesting.
