I'm annoyed about Lauren getting sent home. If she was too young they could have told her that, AT THE FIRST AUDITION!! The poor girl was arguably one of the best and went through all that just to be sent home for something she can't control!
Being too old for a role is one thing but young? That was a bit harsh. Elle is fairly young herself and all the competitors were around the same age at the time
Her and Celina aka Lena Hall are both constantly working on Broadway so she's still going strong. I got to see Lauren in The Great Comet, she was amazing and Lena has a tony award now.

one thing I love is that Bailey has always been herself. she hasn’t put on any “faces” for the camera or for the show, and I appreciate how she doesn’t tear down the other performers and instead works on competing with herself and growing in any way she can!
she was the kind of person i’d go to a broadway show just to see. it really is a shame. im not big into musicals so i don’t know what happened to any of these women after the show, but i hope she had/ is having the successful career she deserves
I can see Autumn in something based in the 40’s or 50’s. She has an old Hollywood feel to me. Rhiannon looks like someone but I can’t think who. Lauren reminds me of Sheridan Smith, who played Elle in the UK version of the show. Bailey reminds me of Ashley Tisdale/Sharpay Evans from High School Musical.
Just figured out who Rhiannon reminds me of! Stephanie Niznik, who sadly died when in her 50’s not so long ago. She played Nina Feeney ( Dr Brown’s - played by Treat Willams- neighbour)in Everwood.
They made some terrible decisions halfway through - getting rid of Emma and Natalie were two of the biggest. They were keenly aware of a TV show and not so much of the final B-way musical. And the less I say about the finale, the better. WRONG DECISION.
I don’t get why they kept Rihannon for so many episodes despite her clearly not having the stamina and voice required. Keeping her over Lauren who not only had the voice but the spirit was a choice 🤨

I've seen the entire show with Lauren Ashley Zakrin and she ROCKED IT. Like, her acting is just so fresh, that I actually thought her performance was better than LBB! And she was clearly the best in this challenge. I can't believe the judges said she acted too young and immature! In this scene Elle is supposed to be young and immature! I mean everyone is good voices but other than Bailey the other two were breathing so hard that was distracting from the performance. Like a lot. No Lauren Ashley Zakrin would definitely have had my vote and I fully intend to follow her career like forever! PS find her version of so much better on TH-cam

Yeah I feel like Autumn was just projecting her insecurities onto the younger girls. She probably felt insecure about the fact that she expected to be on Broadway by that point in her life and didn't get there as soon as she wanted, so to think that these three younger girls were so close to that chance probably frustrated her, but there was no need to say it to them. In fact, two out of those three ended up on Broadway in the next few years, and the other became a lead in the first US tour of 'Legally Blonde' right after the competition.

To be honest….I have been shocked all these episodes how bad everyone is. Like the top ten was not even close to who elle woods really is.🙈 I thought in this show it would be hard to pick who it should be but it’s been the opposite. It’s been me trying to see how anyone could even play her. No one was close to Laura Bell Bundy or Reese Witherspoon and I believe there are way more talented actresses in the country that should have been in this competition.🤷🏼♀️
what is funny is that on the other workshops at least two people gets an advantage and at least one of those girl go to the casting office. In this one, everyone got an "advantage" and all the girls got sent to the casting office.
It’s funny at 34:44 Bailey and Lauren didn’t shoot that at the same time as the other 2 girls, the outfits are different. They were shot at a different time and maybe even for a different episode
I’m so frustrated that they voted Lauren out but then later on in life they decided to cast her as Elle... and she literally did better than Bailey when won this competition and played Elle.
I wanted Rhiannon to have a better voice so better, it was just that missing piece. Like if she had a better voice, I would have adored seeing her energy as Elle. But she just couldn't hit it for this role.
The Final 4 would all become Elle and part of the production..... 1. Bailey - The Winner replaced Laura Bell Bundy as Elle on Broadway staying through the closing 2. Autumn - The Runner-up replaced Becky Gulsvig on Broadway in the Ensemble and understudied Elle 3. Rhiannon - Originated the role of "Margot" and understudied "Elle" on the Tour 4. Lauren - Appeared in the Ensemble and understudied "Elle" on the Tour
It’s kind of irritating to me that none of these girls were really talented enough to make names for themselves as leading ladies on Broadway outside of this competition/this show. I hope they have had successful careers still, but none have had major leading roles since Legally Blonde. And you know there are hundreds of more talented performers all over the country.
there's no elimination in our classroom but my gosh the competition between each other is so high. im not even talking about section by section, im talking each individuals.

I think by young they meant emotionally not numerically, she was mature for her age but they needed more depth.

This show was so smart: it had me tune into MTV to watch the competition and it made me fall in love with a musical I otherwise wouldn’t have seen.
I feel that Bailey worked the audition- I know there's no list in this episode, but I feel like her name would have been called first if there was one.
It hurts to hear a ticket was 120 back then!
I’m actually quite confused about Natalie and Emma being sent home (TY LAUREN) like, they were so much better than Rhiannon I mean, she literally does not have the stamina and the voice power. ALSOOOO why did Lauren get sent away???? Like, she was probably the best out of all them and she was the youngest. ANDDDD they through her out for that?????? Like…what…

I’m sorry but Autumn was not right for this role. She was negative and almost entitled the entire time. She’s incredibly talented but this was not a good fit for her

To be honest….I have been shocked all these episodes how bad everyone is. Like the top ten was not even close to who elle woods really is.🙈 I thought in this show it would be hard to pick who it should be but it’s been the opposite. It’s been me trying to see how anyone could even play her. No one was close to Laura Bell Bundy or Reese Witherspoon and I believe there are way more talented actresses in the country that should have been in this competition.🤷🏼♀️

what is funny is that on the other workshops at least two people gets an advantage and at least one of those girl go to the casting office. In this one, everyone got an "advantage" and all the girls got sent to the casting office.
It’s funny at 34:44 Bailey and Lauren didn’t shoot that at the same time as the other 2 girls, the outfits are different. They were shot at a different time and maybe even for a different episode
How in the world did Rhiannon make it this far , she can’t sing !!!
Every time they say "You are the best in this of the whole competition, but this small thing is lagging" and that person is always going home.
I’m so frustrated that they voted Lauren out but then later on in life they decided to cast her as Elle... and she literally did better than Bailey when won this competition and played Elle.

1. Bailey - The Winner replaced Laura Bell Bundy as Elle on Broadway staying through the closing
2. Autumn - The Runner-up replaced Becky Gulsvig on Broadway in the Ensemble and understudied Elle
3. Rhiannon - Originated the role of "Margot" and understudied "Elle" on the Tour
4. Lauren - Appeared in the Ensemble and understudied "Elle" on the Tour

It’s kind of irritating to me that none of these girls were really talented enough to make names for themselves as leading ladies on Broadway outside of this competition/this show. I hope they have had successful careers still, but none have had major leading roles since Legally Blonde. And you know there are hundreds of more talented performers all over the country.
