Please note that it's the trigeminal nerve not the hypoglossal nerve that innervates the anterior 2/3 of the tongue with addition to the chorda tympani
yeah which is a branch of the trigeminal V3
Youssef Elsayedahmad Thank you. Yes, unfortunately I make lots of mistakes/slips and this is one of them. Most of the videos are made on the go without any preparation or review, that's why.
Thanks for the correction!
Be careful. I’m reviewing for med school
The anterior 2/3 general sensation is innervated by the lingual nerve branch of V3 not hypoglossal
Ali H.N Noted, will try to fix it when I can. Thanks!
6:22 you were correct the first time when u said general sensation is from the lingual nerve (branch of mandibular division V3 of trigeminal nerve CNV)
Bzhy dktor dast xosh🎉

Lola 98 Welcome. These videos better be accompanied by an atlas. I didn't have much time to edit the videos, otherwise I was putting subtitles for the early ones.
Rahell Omer yaa I understand that You are busy in the next time i watch them with 👍

Anyway my friends and I relied on your videos and we did well in our final exam ✌️ continue dr ..
Just brilliant
Is that a collection of ink from using pens to point out the anatomy?

Hello, please answer. Liquid that you drink go all the way up and reach the olfactory nerves? Or does it just go to the nasal cavity.
Joshua Solitario neither. Why would a drink go to the nasal cavity, presuming that one is drinking via the mouth?
Thanks for your response. I mean when water enters the nose through the nasopharynx. Sometimes when I sneeze or laugh while drinking, it happens. So Im wondering if it reaches the cribriformplate or the olfactory
Joshua Solitario Aha this is better. Well, actually I have no solid answer, but logically speaking, no, it shouldn't reach there, given the anatomical structure of the nose (esp. the choncae).
So can you say that the conchae is technically blocking the olfactory nerves from water that came from the nasopharynx?
Joshua Solitario well it's only my speculation. Basically the Cribriform plate is so high and posteriorly located that the regurgitated water particles can't really get that far. That's why I would say. :/
you're using a pen!!! :OOOOOO
Ektaa Babbar :OOOOOO r/madlads hahaha
Wow, the students did that model dirty
HT yes, that's the result of at least 8 years of teaching on that model.
Rahell Omer
Our professor would debar us if we did something like that.
HT the lectures themselves have done the most damage in our case :)
