Thank you very much for this newest review JP! It was nice to have you review this latest version of the Rocket BG-52-GM! Best regards from the whole team at Berthier-sur-mer
Thanks JP I am grateful to have a SG-52 from Roger at Brickhouse and a Grand reserve maple dread which I traded 3 guitars to get Just incredible Love your podcasts
Listening to this on a phone with no headphones and you can still hear the Absolute Pristine Articulation of this Incredible Instrument, It just sounds SO ALIVE, What an absolute masterpiece of an Acoustic Guitar, and even better that it’s in the hands 🙌 of a Master Player.. Great Stuff J.P great Stuff ❤️👍🏻⭐️🌞
I have a BoucherSG 41 and it's way beyond any guitar that I have played or tried. It is scary how pure and clean the sound is. Robin Boucher knows what he's doing and I am thankful!!!!!
Hey JP, do you know anything about Master Grade Special guitars from Boucher? I just bought one used and I have never seen that on the label before. On a side note, every Boucher I have played (9) was incredible. I had a chance to play a GR-BG-152 and it makes my mouth water thinking about it. You just can't go wrong with a Boucher.
JP another BEAUTIFUL and Amazing guitar, sounds incredible, Boucher's are the best, the perfect guitar, I want to thank you for introducing me to Boucher Guitars, I ordered my SG-42 in November 2022 from G&G Music, it is the best guitar I've played, if you ever play a Boucher you'll know, THANKS JP for all you do and keeping us up-to-date on Boucher Guitars 🎸!
Hi JP, I’m in Australia travelled here from Ibiza, Spain. So impressed with the new torrified maple Grand Reserve OM you reviewed recently I’m going home via Germany to get one. Hallelujah!
I am the very proud owner of a BG 52 GIM from the new molds. It is the finest guitar I have ever owned and or, played bar none! It's playability with mediums 13-56, is incredible. It is a Canon of volume, yet capable of subtlety. It is THICK, full, resonant, but in NO way muddy. It is exquisite in its balance. All I can say is WOW! HOW???
That guitar does sound incredibly responsive! Hope to play one at some point to see what the feel is like and then maybe go with a custom build to my specs :)
We all know what a fan you are of Boucher Guitars so it comes as no surprise that you would sing its praises, but that guitar sounds absolutely fantastic. It sounds a lot like my Collings D2H which is a cannon of a guitar. Great balance, great projection.
Interesting to see the saddle was un-compensated. You dont often see that on modern guitars. I wonder if they are left that with the intention of having the owner getting it custom compensated to that specific guitar, and the ammount of compensation it actually needs once its had time to settle in a bit? As a boutique builder i imagine a large part of the target clientele are professionals who demand precise intonation. Maybe?
Please JP tell us some more about the FG9. Is it only for bluegrass? Is it good overall? Would you compare it to high hand guitars on Taylor, martin or Boucher? Thanks !!!!!
By the way JP, do you know much about Levin guitar's?? My dad has one which he purchased in 1973... sounds beautiful now but I'd like a bit more info on it if you could help me out, cheers
whats the point in constantly "upping" an already good thing? It ends up subjective anyway. The heart is simply in the feel and sound, and it doesn't take bells and whistles to get to the heart.

I am also about to pull the trigger for a HG body GR. What are your impressions for these GRs? Thanks!
Are they worth all the hype? You traded 3 guitars, which isn’t something soooo small for these guitars.
Yes it is a cannon. I had a chance to play one in Elderly's. It was wonderful ! So much sustain ! I want to buy one for myself.

It would be nice to play one of these one day. Sadly, I have neither the access nor money for this. Love the reviews though. Keep up the good work jp.

Great review. Love it. If anyone is looking for a Boucher. And can’t find one. Higho Music had 4 i think in stock last time i was there. 👍
I actually tried one. I almost shit my pants. This instrument totally shocked me. Indeed, this will be my next guitar!
That strum at 4:23 is what gets me.

Dream holy grail guitar
Love these Boucher guitar reviews, and all the guitar reviews, but would love to hear J.P.'s Zager and Orangewood guitar expertise.

HI JP, would you please be able to review the YAMAHA FG9-R model that came out in NAMM last year.
Another Beauty eh!

If you do it through email don't use awe toke erect.
Sounds fantastic. And remember, thats the worst its ever going to sound. ❤
I’m lefty I have an opportunity to buy a bg 52 trying to get enough money to buy it
That vibration made my screen protector fall of my cheap cell phone. Guitars don't sound better than this one😂
Another video commercial for Boucher

Soundsa lot like a 1938 Martin
Nice, but my Collings D-42 has it beat LOL
This is like using a tool from Nasa compared to Home Depot.
