    3 mins in you are still no closer to showing how to put in a calculated field....waste of my time.

    Could have improved the tutorial by pausing the camera during all those form formatting operations. But the essential purpose - instructing how to create and manage a calculated field, was good. Thanks Jon.

    this is good.. but i did not find the real value/data in the table field..... it seem that it' works only on the form but not for/on the table filed.. cos it's still blank/no data on the table field...

    JUST TO CALCULATE NUMBER IN ACCESS YOU HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL THIS MESS.
    IN C LANGUAGE YOU JUST MULTIPLY A TIMES B TO GET C
    C=A* B

    I must agree with some others about wasting time by getting off track, you put in some boxes and then you have this unbearable urge to get everything perfectly aligned... which has absolutely nothing to do with the task at hand. You are not producing a final product! I am surprised you didn't go into telling us all of the fields in the tables and what they represented. I can't tell how many times people want to go into a long diatribe about everything except what the task that was to be accomplished. Also the first thing you should state is WHAT VERSION YOU ARE USING. Then we will know it is different from our own.
