Luka Doncic logged 43 minutes in Tuesday’s 137-120 loss to the Pacers, tallying 39 points (15-of-30 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), 10 rebounds, 11 assists, and four 3-pointers.
Named the Western Conference Player of the Month for February, Doncic has recorded a 30-point triple-double in four straight games. Over the past three weeks, he’s ranked second in 8- and 9-cat per-game value according to Basketball Monster. Doncic was at his best during the second quarter, shooting 7-of-9 from the field and hitting three 3-pointers. However, his outburst did not prevent the Mavericks from losing the quarter (39-38), and Indiana would pull away during the third. Dallas plays two more games in Week 19, beginning with the Heat at home on Thursday.

The problem with the Mavs is always the same: dysfunctional team. It's a problem of the FO. Doncic was a winner in Madrid where he was NOT a ball hog. I think that he must leave Dallas and try to play in a really competitive team and then we will see if he is capable to adapt to other players. Look - it was the same with Lebron in Cleveland - he was a ball hog scorig 50 points. Then he went to Miami where pat Riley built a team that was NOT dysfunctional - Wade, James, Bosh: that means: G, PF and C. Dallas has one PG many G, no PF (ok, they have one now), no C. The team that went to the western finals was a little bit less dysfunctional - maybe I'm wrong but I think this is the problem

We saw what happened against the Celtics before Luka started "ball hogging", it was brick after brick from open looks by the other players off of great Luka passes, obviously at some point he's gonna go "screw this" and play hero ball, it's the only way Dallas can do anything right now considering how absolutely inept Jason Kidd is.

Dude THJ has had games with like 16 shots and only 1 going in, a lot of turnovers by the entire team, other players playing poorly with both shooting and defense. The defense have been lost in their position, which makes me question the coaching staff and the coaching in the game doesn't exist. You can't win those games.
