"Stay Alive' was co-written & produced by Suga for their Webtoon 7Fates: Chakho. A 2 minute version was teased in episode 4 and it fit the story perfectly.
The webtoon is inspired by Joseon Dynasty’s tiger-hunting officers known as the chakhogapsa, is set against a futurist urban city. A Korean folklore-inspired fantasy webtoon about seven men fighting supernatural creatures known as “beom” (tiger, in Korean. pronounced 'bom') in the near-future cyberpunk metropolis of Sin-si.

Do I want anything more than watching u guys listen to stay alive thrice? I don’t think so. When two legends collide, explosion is bound to happen. Suga is one of the best and most sought after producers out there, and his produced songs are just hauntingly beautiful. It makes one feel vulnerable. Plus jungkook has such an amazing vocal talent that he is able to own any song he’s given. Them both put together is something I did not know I needed.
An interesting fact, the song is named “stay alive”, and jungkook and suga are the only two in the vid who stand below the bridge where it’s written “because I won’t”. I’m scared as to what it intails. My yoonkook heart is aching. 💜

I was wondering the same thing about the bridge-maybe the blackness that envelopes him is his sacrifice to save the rest by trapping himself on the other side so that the gate can never be opened again.

JK really conveys so much emotions in his singing. It’s amazing. The harmonizing/adlibs his doing with himself is out of this world. Yes the full version just came out. The shorter version came out a week ago with chapter 4 of the Webtoon (There is both the webtoon but also there is a webnovel of the same story with slight differences on wattpad). It fits very well into the story and after hearing the short version we had a lot of anticipation for the full version built up!

Speaking of this being your first time a new BTS song drops, jsut wait till the real first single for the new album comes. They usually do a months worth of promotions leading up to a come back. It's a very fun time. They usually post like a calendar. Like first day is concept photos, third day is more concept photos, 6th day is the first music video teaser (it's usually like 30 seconds of footage from the music video or sometimes specially shot footage for the teaser and remixed new music so it gives you a taste but isn't a full on spoiler), and it leads up to the full song with music video coming out and the first major performance of the new song. Either at a live streamed comeback show from Korea, or sometimes BTS comes ot the U.S. to do the first come back performance on one of our late night talk shows like James Corden or Jimmy Kimmel. It's a very fun and wild and hype time when BTS has a comeback, so i'm excited for you guys to get to experience that.
Suga and JK unit is one of the sub units/combinations I absolutely love. They go so well together and a rare combination for me.

I just finished binging this show last week and I highly recommend it too. Not just for how informative is, but for the amazing storytelling! it's one of the best docu-series out there. And the fact that you also get a fair share of clips from other shows and idol groups, and music critics and such, to give you context related to this kpop world, and it's not just BTS, it's just on a whole other level.
