I just recently lost our family dog of 14 years in January (he was a black lab named Frank- Reese had a special place in my heart because of her being a lab), so I absolutely empathize with you and your family. When we had to put our cat down a few months ago, I took comfort in knowing that she’s no longer in pain and she’s back to her old self. Much love! ❤️

I’m so sorry that you guys lost Reesy. I hope you find comfort in all the wonderful memories and knowing that she is feeling so much better now. It never gets easier to lose a pet but I know from experience that one day, when and if you’re ready another dog can find a new space in your heart and your family and will also be the perfect dog in lots of different ways. When you told me about my “Sweet Potato” I just listened to you and silently tears just fell 😥 My therapy dog (Gideon)knew something was wrong and laid on my lap, it brought something to mind. I had dogs in the past, one of them I had was a Sheltie who was perfect in every way. When he passed away , it took me so long to get the dog I have now, but my health needed Gideon. I’m so glad I did. He’s not like my Sheltie in any way but Gideon has a personality for what I need now in my life. I can’t imagine my life without Gideon. I gave my Sheltie my all and I do my best with Gideon too. What Reese needed you gave and now she is without pain, no longer sick and is just as happy as she was with you. The hurt will always be there but it does subside when the time comes for your heart to take in another sweet soul 🕊

I’m so sorry for the loss of your fur friend. ❤️ My first dog had to be put down 2 years ago, at 13 years old, and it still makes me cry. He can never be replaced, and your girl can’t either. The good news, however, is that new dogs don’t replace old ones, but they bring new joy and their own personality that makes you wonder how you lived without them. I have two dogs who are fantastic, don’t chew, are super friendly, etc, even though they’re both so different. If you have love to give, you can’t go wrong with a pupper, but boy it hurts when we have to let them go. 😞 Hugs to your family. ❤️

I am so sorry for your loss! Prayers for your family. I know how you are feeling, I am still not over loosing my sweet fir baby 2 years ago. It is the hardest thing for me. Thank you so much for how positive and encouraging you are. I have always thought about starting a Channel, but have the same thoughts you had before you started yours. Maybe one day I will get up the courage to actually do it! You do encourage me to do what I can and give myself grace for not getting it all done at once. I am not good at that. I always beat myself up about everything. Thanks so much for all you do. God bless and keep doing what your doing you are such an inspiration.

I knew about Reece from Instagram, but just watching this video now. We put our 15yr old dog Gary down Nov 2020. He was our first dog too. It's soooooo hard!! We didn't get a new dog for a while since the heart needs to heal, plus we had a newborn, and I wasn't even sure I wanted a dog again. We got Molly July 2021. We love her so much! Home just isn't the same without a dog. I just wanted to send you love and hugs for Reece. The pain is real, and much harder than I thought it would be. I still get FB flashback photos of Gary every now and then and I love them so much. Forever a part of our family
All dogs are the best dogs! Your girls will remember Reese forever as a big sister, best friend and playmate. Celebrate her life, the lessons of love she gave to all of you and know that she is forever young, healthy and happy now. It's never easy and I've had to say 'goodbye' to more fur-babies than I count over my 50 years. I still dream about them and miss them when I wake up and remember that they are gone. It does get easier and maybe someday your family will find a new fur family member at a local shelter or rescue. Or she/he will turn up on your doorstep just when your ready and need them. Most of my babies appeared from nowhere and blessed my life by adopting me. 💚💙💜 Hugs and love. You're doing a great job as a Mom, a wife, a woman and a human. You got this, girl. 👍

Oh Jamie! I'm so so sorry about Reese😥 I loved seeing her sweet face in your videos, and I can imagine the heartbreak your family is going through from losing her. We lost our 15 year old dog on February 9th. I have been lost and I’ve filled the void by cleaning. I found your videos about 2 weeks ago and they have been so helpful…physically and mentally…for me. I wrote letters to my dog every night for a while to just express what I was feeling and thank him for being such a good dog. It really helped me! It's rare to find a dog that is the same as the one you had before, but it brings a whole different bond and experience and there is something so beautiful about that. It always hurts to lose them, and it's always bittersweet to welcome a new pet into your life but they always tend to make it worth your while❤

I was crying when you shared about Reese. The hardest part of losing a dog is everything. They're never in our lives long enough but enough to leave paw prints on our hearts. I have always said you can have many dog's but only one once in a lifetime dog, Reese was your once in a lifetime dog. My sincere condolences to all of you. Jamie, I had a golden retriever for around the same time you had Reese and when we found out he had pancreatic cancer we couldn’t believe he had been dealing with such a bad cancer because he was so happy and doing his normal thing, other than hiding that he was vomiting outside. The vet told us we probably didn’t know because retrievers and labs are such people/family dogs that they often hide their symptoms. That made me so sad to know he was masking pain to be normal for us but that just goes to show how much they love us back. I didn’t think we could ever replace him and we actually got a lab for our second dog and if it’s possible he is an even better dog than our first. When it’s the right time you will find the next perfect pet for your family. Much love to you guys. I hurt all over again thinking about what you just went through. The pain will lessen with time but you will never not miss Reese.
Thank you! She was even eating and drinking up until the day we took her to the vet. She had a tumor that was so big on her stomach that she was having trouble walking but yet she still hid most of her symptoms! I’m just glad she’s feeling of pain now
So sorry to hear about Reese. Those little buggers burrow their way into our hearts and it's such a tough loss. We lost two dogs five years apart to the day. They were both special but our last one, Rudy, was a one of a kind like your Reese. It's been almost 5 years since we lost him and there are still times when we miss him. I have severe anxiety and I’m okay at work but I’m so overwhelmed when I get home I find it hard to get stuff done. We had to suddenly put one of our dogs down last summer after a sudden injury and it was one of the hardest things we’ve had to do. We think of him as running through the woods at the cabin chasing squirrels ❤️ No other dog will take Reese’s place, even if you do sometime get another dog and you love that dog, it won’t ever replace sweet Reese and your cherished memories. She did seem like such a good sweet girl just in the limited clips you posted of her in videos. Prayers for you guys as you grieve your furry companion.

Jamie, I don’t have a dog but always wanted one and now that we have 3 kids my two eldest children want a dog. What you’ve shared about your dog is the thing that makes me feel uneasy about getting a dog because I can’t even begin to imagine what you are feeling. But you also allowed me to see what puppy love does for families. My condolences to you and the family. I hope one day you can get another dog and make more memories. God bless you!

So glad you turned to homeopathy for your treatment! I was introduced to it by my Naturopath about a decade ago & it has been life changing! I use Oscillococinum as well for flu. FYI: you don't need to use the whole vial, just a few of the tiny micro pellets. For us, the vial lasts several flu sicknesses. Also, homeopathy is so safe for all. I used it during my pregnancy, my daughter (who is now 8 yrs old) was first treated by it when she was 3 months old & got her first cold, she also has ONLY had homeopathy as her medicine, never had a single pharmaceutical in her life. Not even Tylenol or antibiotics. Once you understand how homeopathy works & can match the remedy to the symptoms, it goes to work prompting the body to heal. It truly is amazing. I have even used it on my dog & two cats.

I live for these long videos. The motivation is insane. I used to pull appliances to do a thorough clean all the time before surgery. Now I have to pay a company to do that every three months for me. I live alone but it still manages to get dirty underneath and behind those big appliances 🤦🏾♀️ all the time. I actually love cleaning and organizing my fridge and pantry. So sorry to hear about Reese :( it’s so hard to lose a family member. I just did this in 2019 right before the pandemic hit and it was the hardest thing ever. We still think of our sweet pup every day and cry. It does get easier but still hard to go through. Praying for peace and comfort as you think of memories with her. ❤️
Just got back into watching your videos. I broke my leg 6 weeks ago and trying to recover so watching you clean made me sad that I couldn’t get up and do it. I’m a lot like you and like to keep active and moving so being down for 6 weeks so far has been awful!! I’m now walking again with a boot but it’s my first week walking so I’m getting the hang of it and it’s still pretty sore. I felt like vacuuming after I drove the kids to school today (which was also totally new for me!! Got the okay to drive!) I’ve had so many messes and decluttering I’ve been wanting to do and when you sit and see it all day it drives you batty! So I’m ready to get back to my normal routine (within reason). I should mention that I watch you while I’m cleaning to get motivated so thank you for all you do and so so sorry to hear you and the flu! It’s so hard when mama is gone - my family learned that real quick when I was out for 6 weeks. Luckily our moms and friends have helped out taking care of kids while I could rest.
Oh Jamie, I am so very sorry for your loss. That is the last kindest thing that we can do for our beloved fur babies. I just sat and held my Blue Heeler while you were talking. She doesn't understand why I am upset, but she is always there for me. Much love to you and yours. I am going to take everything from under the kitchen sink. I don't know if I have a hundred mice or one on a motorcycle! He keeps missing the traps. I don't know, I may have to camo up and stake it out! So goes life in the country! I bawled my eyes out with you. This is the roughest week of the year for me. My brother died from cancer 4 years ago on March 12th and my dad died 8 years ago on March 16th. I usually take the week off work because I just don't want to deal with people. Plus, it is usually my kids' spring break from school. So this weeks video really hit me hard. Again, I am so sorry for your family's loss.

Hi Jamie, I’m so sorry to hear about Reese Cup and I am praying for you guys. I cried the day you announced that her prognosis was not good. Thank you for sharing her with us ❤️ I have been filming/editing videos for the last couple of months with the intent of starting a TH-cam channel but have always just deleted them, but within the last week or so I set a goal of uploading my first video on Saint Patrick’s Day and I finally finished editing today and when I watched your video saying you just have to go for it I took it as a sign to move forward with this creative outlet I have been imagining for a while now. Thank you for your encouragement. I always look forward to watching your newest uploads. You really have had a huge impact on how I manage keeping up with life and staying positive. You aren't alone, I ve also had a sweet doggie (Gator) who passed away from lymphoma cancer a few years ago. It was so hard on me and my daughter. We loved him so much, but we did get the chance to find and love another doggo soon after, Rocky. He's a big baby and just loves everyone 😌 Though I am not Rocky's owner any longer (my ex is) I still go visit Rocky often when I pick my daughter up and give him all the loves I can. (Hope this little story makes you feel a little bit better.)

I was crying along with you. My dog is 16 this year and we are fighting for her as much as we can. She has problems with breathing, with her heart and with her joints, and just think that the time is coming when we can losing her... it hurts so much that I can't breathe. Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. I teared up when you talked about your sweet girl. I know exactly how you are feeling. We've had five dogs as a couple and I've had three more before I was married. It is never is easy to say goodbye. Our last boy sounds just like your Reese girl. Never bit anyone, just the sweetest pup. The best dog ever. I cried listening to you upset. I’m sooooo sorry for your loss I know how hard it is to loose a part of a family. I lost to cats 2 weeks from each other and until this day is hard, but it gets better. God will have a special pet for your family soon, but for now take time to heal and remember the good times. Having lost a few of my pets, one we just put down in September. Remember to Allow time for your family to grieve. Take time to heal. You will be moving soon and a new home with new memories may allow you to be able to open your hearts up to a new dog. Just take your time and do what works best for your family.

I literally cried with you. All of you are in my prayers! When I was 14 my dad got me my first dog. He was my baby. I remember clearly the day he passed away. I was in a class to open our home to fostering. That moment is forever burned in my kind. That was 6 years ago. It took a long time to allow myself to get another dog but a couple years ago we did and he is just as wonderful and loving. It takes time but it does get slightly easier. There are still days I'll call our new dog by his name but I smile remembering all the wonderful times.
