I bought this kit recently, and believe me, this is worth your every penny if you're looking for an excellent and solid High Grade. The kit just kept surprising me as I was building it. I especially love the proportions; it's less fat and bulky than the old HG Strike. I was almost about to buy the Perfect Strike but seeing that it was based on the old Strike, I picked up this HGCE Strike instead. And it was a decision I never regretted. I also recommend this to ANYONE that's looking to have an excellent addition to their collection, moreso if they are a Strike fan.
ZeroStriker426 you should get the packs the HG perfect strike has that this strike doesn't still since they work as well

My first hg. Bought by my gf for my 24th bday. It was amazing!
Pro Tip: If you want a more complete looking Sword Striker, maybe it's a good idea to find that EX Model SEED Mecha Set and use the connector arm designed for the Sword Striker. That piece is done in all white, but painting that and the usual Non Grade backpack could help save you the trouble.
Finished this kit, so I should tell people, this is quite possibly the best kit I have ever made. It's fantastic and is very fun to pose.

They got the Impulse all of IT'S packs, so why not the Strikes?!
And while we're at it, where the bloody hell are the HGCE versions of the other GATs at?!

Ikr. I really want a revive of the other GATs. The other striker packs on the other hand, they made with the perfect strike. Only problem, they don't have the revive of the backpacks.
This kit does look slimmer than old one and thus also better in that sense. I really hope they release rest of Striker Packs as versions that are easy to get because currently you need several kits to do it with this one. And to me having access to other Striker packs is big deal as in my opinion those were what made Strike so unique before Impulse.
Yeah and it would be even more awesome if they finally released the Dagger L/Windam. Even more striker packs!
the snapping transition was actually pretty nifty
I just realized that the galaxy cosmos’ head design bears a resemblance to the strike’s head design, judging by the blocky, extended vulcan guns on the sides of the head and the red trapezium forehead piece.
the white parts in the side of the kit blend together with the background making it look much slimmer in the abdomen
Did you have trouble putting in the red pice of the V Fin? For some reason, no matter how hard I push it just won’t go in all the way
I actually do want a remastered Freedom, Justice, and maybe the Destiny leads, too. The Destiny Gundam itself has aged quite well, due to actually getting its wings of light and some other touches, but I wouldn't spit at a new one, certainly. Destiny: disappointing show, quite good designs.
Well, the HG Destiny was fantastic regarding accessories but the articulation was lacking, these shoulder joints are down-right weird, and the sideskirts are a little too fat. I'm afraid that if they did an HGCE of it, they'll cheap out on the wings of light. I'd put the old backpack in the new model, in that case.
yeah, maybe so. still, as long as the old ones fit, I would be alright cannibalizing it

hey kakarot in a way you could say that the original HG strike is the strike that was destroyed in the duel with aegis and the new HGCE strike is the strike that was build after from the remains of the old strike but with major improvements.
Kakarot, I noticed that you have the Perfect Strike's beam cannon mounting arm attached right onto the NG Launcher backpack piece. I checked the NG Launcher's instructions online, and it looks like it uses a different connection type - peg-to-polycap, instead of the Perfect's socket-to-ball. Did you have to do some significant tweaking to get the mounting arm on there, or can it be attached out-of-the-box?
Also, does the Perfect's anti-ship sword stow on the NG Sword backpack piece without any needed mods as well?
All I had to do for the Launcher was cut the polycap that came with the NG to the correct shape so that the HG Launcher could fit. It's really an easy fix if you have a sharp knife.
Not sure about the Sword though, I'll check it later.
Kakarot197 are the the new wing parts and booster from the new strike compatible with the white part with battery packs of the old perfect strike? I am thinking of using that part instead the ones with the holes on them. are they compatible without modding?
Will the RG skygrasper fit with HGCE strike gundam?

I have to disagree with the ankle armor. I've never been a fan of it since it was introduced on 0 Gundam.

I don't have the skygrasper so I can't be sure about the shoulder parts. But I can tell you that the backpacks will *not* fit. The HG packs use round pegs, while the RG packs use rectangular pegs.

***** What do you mean by "the perfect strike connector for the agni"? The Perfect Strike does not come with a full launcher striker pack, so you will need the no grade launcher for a complete launcher striker pack.

2021 and we still don't have hgce sword striker and launcher striker packs because Bandai still don't release them even in this year yet.
I thought I was the only one wanting for these two XD
The year is 2024 and the sword striker pack, launcher striker pack, and the aile striker pack are being released as option parts sets(parts for the Perfect Strike pack are included in the parts set for the Aile Striker Pack) for the EG Strike Gundam (which should be perfectly compatible the the HG Strike Revive)
It is still 2024 and the aile striker option set has released with the launcher and sword strikers being released in June likely
Well so far they didnt do any add for the HGCE Strike to put on the "holes" of the pack fin as you wondered...
BUT as the construction of the one for the perfect Strike is virtually the exact same as the normal one you can just swap the top part with the wings and the thrusters of the HGCE (adding some polycap to the latters so they grip as they should); and attach them to the Perfect Strike pack fin with batteries.
I did so with mine and it works just fine and looks AWESOME (sometimes swipe back to make Aile Strike).
I could not figure out how to get the Agni from perfect to fit the NG Launcher pack; but watching your review videos of this one and the Perfect I got some ideas I will try out until I can get it to work normally on (mainly with "ball" polycaps) .

Dude I just got this kit and its ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The two things I value the most in model kits is Articulation (for the most part) and especially Durability, and this kit NAILS IT! If you've got $16.00 and don't know what kit to get, get this one you won't be dissappointed.
Looks great, which is no surprise given the quality we already saw out of the Build Strike and most of the other AGP kits. Now I'm really looking forward to what they'll do with the Freedom.

I Luv Catgirls I saw that, can't wait! Though I'm a bit annoyed that haven't gotten any new Seed MGs since the Aile Strike RM. I just hope the glut of new HGs isn't a consolation prize.
I'm actually using this strike as a base for my first EVER customized strike. I actually have my brother to thank for destroying my p-bandai sword impulse which the swords and the main impulse survived. But it did also save the sword holder part too.

For a Real Perfect Strike, use this kit and attach the sword strike's shield onto the right arm. Then attach the Aile Strike's shield on the left.

I really do hope we get the Justice, because wow, I have the Aile in all sorts of poses, and his backpack never made him tip over once. Getting a Freedom with proper wings like the RG, but with stability like this, and you'd have a definitive Freedom right there.
I am confuse at the model that he referred as “No Grade” I look online but I couldn’t find a thing about the thing with the same detail and scale so can anyone please help me out? Also do the old perfect strike launcher and sword work on the revive?

My tip for some stickers is to put little dabs of superglue on the edges after the sticker is applied to the part. Prevents the peeling off effect for areas on the sticker(s) that are prone to do that.
Hi Kakarot, may I know can the surface of the wings be rotated to face the front when attach to the mobile suit? I prefer wings to face the front and not facing the ceiling.

Are the beam saber effects of any HG SEED kit compatible with this Gundam's beam saber handles? Are the beam saber effects also compatible with the HG Perfect Strike Gundam's beam saber handles?

High Grade [AU era] are part of the High Grade Universal Century lineup, just branded under a different label to avoid tourists getting confused on the show(s) the Mobile Suits are from.

Where do parts c12 go? Can't find them in the manual and there left on the part tree after build :( they look like little jets
Some kits have parts that aren't used, on the first page of the manual you will see the runners listed. If there's a cross over certain parts, they're not used

Leftover parts happen when the same runner is used for more than one model (saves bandai money)

Since I would mostly one a Perfect Strike just to nab the Sword and Launcher since they look better than on the No Grades, of course, would I be better off getting that, or can the Real Grade ones work on this kit any? Since it isn't that much more for the Skygrasper, which comes with the Launcher and Sword packs, is it?
I doubt that the RG weapons will fit(RGs tend to have finer joints). Also, you need the HG perfect striker since that's the only kit that comes with the connection part for the Launcher and sword to hook up to the aile pack =/
True, I just don't really want to display it as a perfect strike, though. maybe Aile+Launcher, or Aile+Strike, so I might get the Perfect, anyhow, but all three is a little too much going on for me. Thanks though!

HGCE. It's much more solid and looks better IMO. You also have more striker packs available.

Would not recommend, the waist joint is so brittle, I got mines never touched it and the waist just broke when I tried to pose it, I got 2 of them and both broke.
maybe you play too hard on the kit. mine was rock solid. remember, this is not a toy, its a model.
Use super glue while building the waist next time. It happened to me too but the super glue saved me.
Still you also have to remember that the kit has its flaws. It's not the Rx-78-2 Gundam revive which the waist is very strong.

HG 00 Gundam ankle's cannot be beat. Trust me XD.
Actually, Strike's ankles have significantly more forward/backward movement and only slightly less side-to-side movement than 00's. Overall, it's better than the 00.
True, however rarely do we use forward/backward movements in poses since wide stances are preferred. But I do agree that the forward/backward movement of the new strike is really good.

No. There is no need to. All the Gundam 00 HGs have the current engineering. The All Gundam Project is for the leads (and apparently some supporting roles) of each Gundam show and for Gunpla with no current HGs. (ie F91, Victory, X etc)
They're just too new to warrant new HGs.

I doubt they'll make a Justice HG 2.0 in the short term, at least until they finish the All Gundam Project. But I hope for an HGCE Impulse, though I fear they'll cheap out on the core block system again, even though it's far, far simpler than the Victory Gundam's.
