The Big Push is my new favorite band at 53 years old! He has said his next album will be back to his roots with guitar and singing. Can't wait. And I"m praying for a Big Push reunion once Ren returns home to England!
This was the first song of Ren's that I ever listened to. My daughter-in-law showed it to me. It just took half a minute and my jaw was dropping! It was an incredible moment of discovery. 🔥🔥🔥🔥♥️♥️♥️♥️
Excellent reaction! Excellent song/mashup! Both Ren and Romain have mentioned that they're open for a reunion, once the opportunity arises again. I think Gorran is traveling/busking, as he had done before meeting Ren and Romain. And of course Ren is in Canada. Glenn Chambers, the drummer, is in Thailand, I think. I'm hoping that they all have the itch to get together as soon as possible, because now they will be known to a much wider audience😎
Love it when people acknowledge the musical communication that goes on between these guys in order for these incredible performances to be as incredible as they are!
Thanks Will - I love how Ren loses himself in these live performances. In interviews he has said that because of his ADHD, he can hyper focus on practice, practice, practice (he's a self admitted perfectionist), then when he gets out there, he let's all of that go and just feels it. Love The Big Push and so grateful we have the chance to see Ren perform live.
One of my absolute faves! Here’s more. THE BIG PUSH 🥁🎸🎤🎵 REN (Welsh) - vocals, acoustic, electric, bass mostly Romain Axisa (French) - vocals, acoustic, electric, bass mostly Gorran Kendall (English) - vocals, acoustic, electtic, bass mostly Glenn Chambers (Irish) - drums mostly The Big Push formed in 2017. Initially being Ren, Romain and Gorran with Glenn joining later to play drums. Gorran and Romain met busking, Romain and Ren then met through Facebook while Ren was trying to find a flat mate. They would all busk together and Glenn would sit in as drummer while also playing bass with another friend Rafa. They then decided to become a band and would take to the streets of Brighton and also created masterpieces of their own. They played numerous gigs including a sold out tour of the U.K. and also released a 6 track EP called “Can Do Will Do”. They busked together for the last time on 14th December 2022 and played their final gig at the Brighton Dome a short while later. Having to go on hiatus due in part to Ren moving to Canada for medical treatment and their lives going in different directions. Although they remain good friends and Ren and Romain have mentioned wanting to play together again. I think you'd really enjoy one of their original songs called sweet little lady acoustic version. Awesome song. Can't go wrong with any of their songs though, since they don't have a bad one 😊. Have an awesome day and great reaction man 😊
Great reaction! It's great to see people who get the soul, vocals and musical freedom in this one as well as the connection the band members have with each other.
It appeared that when Ren asked Romain a question, Romain's guitar answered.😊 A lot of what eventually happens in a street performance depends on crowd feedback, so there is always a degree of improv.
I just saw his 15mins Spontaneous Stream Jam that was released and it was impressive as expected, but I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Ren was ambidextrous as well. Never ending, this guy! When you can, I think you’d appreciate it. Cheers!
❤love you reaction and appreciation of The Big Push! Rens album which is coming out later this year is going to be mostly acoustic, singing, and hopefully piano.❤
Great reaction!! This is one of my favorites. If you haven’t checked out their cover of War Pigs, it’s great. As for their original songs, Swan Song and Icarus are my favorites.
Be sure to check out “Ocean” by Ren and Eden Nash. I’d describe it as a Blusey/reggae sound. I’m with you when it comes to this type of music. Ren’s whole new album is going to be more along these lines, I’m really looking forward to it. I think you’ll enjoy Ocean, by Ren and Eden Nash.
Thank you for the requests, donation and support! I can see your requests and tips in my StreamElements account and I look forward to reacting to them!!!

Great reaction. Check out the Big Push's original Swan Song and Sweet Little Lady live, and their cover of Sting's Englishman in New York.

I think you'll be excited for his new album, which will be all singing because yes, I can tell this just hits the spot for you.

This is an improvision of majestic proportions! All the band members shine in this one! Could cry when it ends.

This performance is so freaking good. And people got to watch it for FREE! So jealous of the Brighton residents!

I reckon Ren's ADAH is a super boon for his talent... Can't be content with just one instrument, never mind his Vocals!!!
