I don’t understand the divide of region
It’s the festival of almost all mahasu belt of uttrakhand and Himachal ,or even areas from Yamuna valley of uttrakhand to Himachal
It is celebrated mostly where devta( Maharaj) is residing for the time period and also in villages.

जय देवभूमि हिमाचल प्रदेश आपका वीडियो बहुत ही सराहनीय कदम है गढ़वाल में मुख्यतः मेरा गांव यहां पर आदिकाल से भगवान श्री लक्ष्मी नारायण जी का मंदिर है पिछला इतिहास बताता है शांकासुर राक्षस के वध करने के लिए भगवान लक्ष्मी नारायण दीपावली से पूर्व यहां से चले गए थे दीपावली पर यहां पर के लोगों ने दीपावली नहीं मनाई थी राक्षस के बाद करने के बाद भगवान् क्षीरसागर में नाग सैया पर लेट गए दीपावली के ठीक 11 दिन बाद एकादशी पर भगवान अपने स्थान पर लौट आए फिर गांव के लोगों ने दीपावली मनाई थी जिसको बूढ़ी दिवाली कैसे हैं इस दिवाली को संपूर्ण गढ़वाल में बहुत ही धूमधाम से मनाते हैं हमारा गढ़वाल कुमाऊं हिमाचल प्रदेश एक जैसा रीति रिवाज है मैं देवभूमि को प्रणाम करता हूं भगवान लक्ष्मी नारायण हमारे इस देवभूमि क्षेत्र को खुशी खुशहाल रखें मैं सेना में कार्यरत रहते हुए हिमाचल प्रदेश का क्षेत्र भ्रमण किया बहुत अच्छे ईमानदार लोग हैं सबकी खुशहाली के लिए ईश्वर से प्रार्थना करता हूं जय श्री लक्ष्मी नारायण

महोदय हां मेरा मानना यह है की, मुझे लगता है की इस वीडियो में इनके द्वारा दिया गई जानकारी ज्यादा सटीक बैठती है।
ऐसा कैसे हो सकता है कि श्री रामचंद्र के अयोध्या लौटने का पता दक्षिणी भारत में तो समय पे लग गया परंतु हमारे क्षेत्र में इस जानकारी को पहुंचने के लिए 1 महीना लग गया, जबकि दक्षिणी भारत का क्षेत्र तो दूर है।
