Miisraks, Kell of Kells: "Go, saint, protect your people!" The Saint: "YOU ARE MY PEOPLE!" that is by far my favorite bit of Season of The Splicer, and very high on my list of favorite destiny moments
He rarely gets modern story material besides lore texts because he's the Crucible handler, the Crucible is barely tied to the story other being an activity where Guardians fight each other. Rarely do we get much lore of events that happen in it, and with Shaxx overseeing it, he doesn't have much opportunity to be involved in a Season's main story. Other characters fit better to be in the story. But it would be cool to see him involved more.

Instead of Ikora's Ball of death, you just hear a very distinct sound before 6 shots are fired and 6 Vex robots get destroyed or multiple golden daggers rain down on the Vex, clearing the enemies in front. "You guys were killing Vex this whole time and you didn't tell me?"

That really annoyed me! Every single Eliksni there should have been dead in seconds. It's frustrating because all the animators needed to do was slap a Ward of Dawn behind Saint and Mithrax and it would have been fine.

Don't get me wrong, Amanda is great and all, but it just seems weird that we ended up in the situation that a major attack on the city happened and so few people showed up to fight it that we needed her to take the field. Zavala must have walked past at least 20 or so immortal super weapons just chilling in the tower on his way to ask a normal human to come fight Vex with him. If I were him I'd be calling some of these Guardians into my office for a chat.
Yea. Amanda's realy in the wrong place. Not only is she mortal, she's lightless. The way I understand the lore, a Guardian and a lightless shooting the same gun has a very different effect. As a Guaridan we put the light behind every bullet we fire, increasing its effectivenes massively. Amanda's shotgun should never had that effect on a Vex construct. She does get very little screen time though.
Looking back this cutscene was very sloppy, good intent but poorly executed. Sluggish pace, doesn’t make sense, the vex don’t seem like a threat and are just shooting blindly, was not impressed but effort appreciated

Saint should at least use a barrier to ACTUALLY give cover to the civilians. maybe turn his bubble into a haven instead of a hell. Why wasn't Zavala thunder crashing or shoulder charging right into the vex midst? Why were they all out in the open anyway? there's plenty of good ruins to use for cover. Everyone just stood mostly still, slowly taking potshots at each other. If the minotaurs actually aimed their torch hammers, like they usually do, all those civilians would be dead. I like having cutscenes but i want em to be better.
We don’t know how a bubble would affect a eliksni. We know it has not an effect on humans but with the helmet of saint-14 it can temporarily blind the eliksni. I think Saint is being careful here not to harm the eliksni and Mitrax

In this lore tab, they came under attack and Saint put up a Ward of Dawn to protect Mithrax as he spliced the data together. And with Saint being Saint he'd probably be able to direct his Light in a way to make sure the bubble didn't hurt his friend

In the lore, Mithrax assumed that Amanda was a guardian the entire time, and even asks to meet her ghost after the end of the season. When she tells him she's just a normal human, he's shocked.
Now that i think about it, amanda should have been toasted instantly by the vex: guardians have this weird effect on the vex that can be summarized as "I am paracausal and therefore i am unpredictable so you can't aim". Amanda is just a civilian, no fancy business

I think the end is very chilling, you hear saint laughing as he destroys vex. wonder how many of the fallen heard that when he was killing them.
