When Joker shot Giorno and nothing happened, it wasn’t RTZ, but Life Punch when GE punched Arsene and Arsene blocked it. (Joker’s consciousness “shot” Giorno, but his body didn’t move as his consciousness was too fast as a result of Life Punch)

I always look forward to your reactions, and this one takes the cake without question. I not only heavily relate to your love for Persona 5 and geeking out moments, but that intro of the Thieves sending Zaslav a calling card just felt so damn fitting. By the way, the story boards confirm that the real world version of Giorno outside the metaverse had his cognitive shutdown negated by GER, meaning that both of them technically survived this battle.

Another point in Joker's favor is the amount of personas that just completely null, reflect, or similar to phys and that Giorno only seems to have physical attacks
I'd say almost everything he has can be labled as Physical or Gun (since gun attacks seem to be more about Pierce then bullets) so yeah Joker can just null everything Giornos got
The ending of the battle is absolutely perfect, but a detail I keep going back to see is every other Phantom Thieves' voice being overshadowed by Akechi's "If you die now I...I'll kill you again myself." His voice is the only one you hear right as Joker breaks out of the death loop as well.
@@JeezAlax Joker and Akechi made a deal. The deal was for them to duel again one day, and Joker will always keep that promise. If that’s not motivation for him to break out, I don’t know what is.

I've mentioned this before in a previous death battle video that the person who uses their most powerful skill, attack, or transformation first is usually the one who will lose 85-90% of the time
If any of you have complaints about TWOH (The World Over Heaven) and DOH (DIO over Heaven) negating Requiem's Return To Zero, here: Araki was involved with the writing process of Eyes of Heaven, he was probably doing Greenlights, which means this feat has SOME validity in the fact that Rt0 CAN be countered by reality warping (around 25% to 50% validity)

I’m very appreciative that the team thought to do something so insanely specific for Joker there. They could’ve very easily just kept the scene black with the voices of his friends, but the callback to Akechi is just… so perfect. And the blue butterfly was the cherry on top. I always imagined Joker would escape the death loop by seeing that butterfly, seeing it actualized was one of the most unexpected Death Battle moments ever for me.
One thing that makes the intro to this funny is that Warner Bros distributes Jojo in North America So you could say that Joker is trying to get information about David Zaskav through Giorno.
Also Almighty are skill are often used by god of creation or destruction. Their power has been describe to destroy any world in just one hit... So never underestimate Almighty. It is end game skill. Once you get that its Jover unless its New Game+
"Joker can run out of mana or HP" That's actually false if you listen to many pro at the game... There's countless way to loop SP or HP. That's why without highest diffeculty challenge they ALWAYS hit 9999 if you meet a bad condition (Move you shouldn't do) Because even the game knew player can just cheat out of this rule with many ability. There's life drain, mana drain or even passive/items that auto regen. So in long term Joker does not have a weakness. It's only if you just instant death him which do work. Many players hates this. But can Giorno did this? Nope... Even if they do there's immunity to death.
See this is a cool battle and as a fan of both series at this point (Provided i havent finished Persona 5), my biggest problem with this fight is that it takes place in Giornos palace where i don't think he would ever have one. While yes he's in the mafia he's done nothing but good for Italy and has no guilt in his heart for what he's done. Like he single handedly took out Italys drug empire why are the Phantom Thieves targeting Giorno lol
Giorno versus Joker I feel like the debates would have been more interesting if they pulled out more about the characters personalities but I didn't think they really showed that off during this matchup but it was still well made

"Multi JoJos" Hold on a sec. Yea Giorno basically has 0 chance, the amount of arguments that exist for Joker against GER's ability are absurd. As for the fight I was a bit disappointed it wasn't longer, but upon a second watch it didn't matter to me as much, solid outing from DB in an indie sense. Hopefully it just gets better from here.
The ending referencing Akechi's assassination attempt on Joker was so damn raw

I was able to understand it right away, but for some reason, every reactor I’ve seen thought that it was RTZ and not consciousness overload.

Jojo's is genuinely Great!! It is rather weird tho! Part 3 is kinda slow but at Part 4 it picks up! (It gets way weirder)
