This was probably the best video I've watched about this project. It gave a balanced view. I'm a season ticket holder in the current stadium and I think it's fine for what it is. Nashville built it on the cheap in order to get the people of Nashville to vote for it back in 1996. The entire project including land acquisition was under $300 million. That sounds like a lot but the Panthers' stadium in Charlotte cost over $500 million to build and it's 3 years older.
Dodger Stadium opened in 1964. It is today just as modern and functional as the newest stadiums in the country. The concourses are spacious, the concession stands are pristine, seating and sightline are almost perfect. Dodger Stadium had great planning and continued with exceptional up keep, that is what matters most. A twenty-five year old stadium that must be replaced, place in a pile and burn money.
It's a waste of money. Titans stadium that is. The team hasn't even been close to a Super Bowl in over twenty years. They think they'll sell more tickets if they build the new stadium, but truth is this place will only sell for those who wanna see what all the hype is about, but after the Titans lose and lose each year that will all fade away and this stadium will only be known for other events and the Titans will be second fiddle to music acts at this stadium. It's sad that cities continue replacing decent buildings just to keep up with the Joneses. I miss the days when there was a history to certain stadiums like Dodger's Stadium etc...They have torn down things to hurry up and put new glass towers into the downtown skyline just to say we're progressive as they remove the culture of what made this city
@@w.e.b.8719 Ever been to Nissan Stadium? The concession stands are far from pristine and the concourses are miles from spacious. It was not built to last: it was built as fast and as cheap as possible because the Titans were homeless in ‘97 and ‘98. As the video said, it will soon begin falling apart and need remodeling, which will cost almost as much as a new stadium, so they might as well build a new stadium, but with a roof for more possibilities

Nashiville just bought a pig in a poke and got took to the bank for such a pathetic owner. Team could be good but Adams sucks at management and football in general

Lots of money for such a loser team. Why can’t private industry pay for this? PSLs only cover a small portion of the cost…odd. Glad Davidson County wants to fund this thing. Wish folks wanted smoother roads.
@ they changed the rules for the opening year for the stadium but will fall back after and Nashville won’t have another Super Bowl again. This was the worst decision Nashville made and currently lawsuits that I support are trying to fight for a better stadium. Like I said a waste of money. The stadium needs to have at least 80k seats, this will be the smallest stadium in the NFL and such a disgraceful thing to spend 2 billion for.
What do you mean. Bridgestone Arena in Nashville is one of the best arenas in the country and it's 30 years old. That's not poorly constructed. And neither is Geodis Park where the Nashville SC plays. I have no idea what you're talking about.
As a Nashvillian and Psl holder, the stadium is outdated and falling apart. After attending away games at other NFL stadiums, I can say our stadium is way behind. By the time the new stadium is complete, the current stadium will be damn near 30 years old. However, I understand what you're saying and our city could use that money for education and to fix our roads here.

We don’t need the Gov’t involved in education anymore . Truthfully how many ( what percentage of kids) attend public school since Covid ? If the govt want involved in education limit them to issuing vouchers making private education and homeschooling affordable.
Omg I can’t stand this response how can’t you see that if this happens the private education system will become the new public education system. Public school are already grossly underfunded so how does providing waivers to private schools fix the problem we already have?

Every nfl stadium should have a dome. Not many people want to sit on snow seats 😂
Pass by it everyday. They are throwing it up fast .😮

💯 FACTS!!!
Taylor Swift concerts
Because Nashville wants Super Bowls, Final Fours, CFP Championships, World Cup games and a better venue for concerts
@@alpacain1075 we just gonna gift them a brand new venue for sucking lol
Neyland Stadium is light years better than the new or old NIssan Stadium.
Taxes should NEVER be used to build a stadium for a BILLION dollar business
My Titans do not deserve a new stadium, and I mean that straight from the heart. We have done nothing to be afforded such a luxury 🙄
