40K has an amazing ability to make space marines both epically awesome and cannon fodder at the same time
Wouldn't call that "amazing" - it's more of a case of lazy writing.
@@Red_Partizanin You have an amazing ability to write truth as well as the ability to speak cannon fodder
Space marine are mass produced and cost effective super soldier. They are still super soldiers, but with cost effectiveness in mind. Their procedure of power up is standardized, some humans are compatible and some not
Assassins and custodes are tailor made. While making them they take in consideration their genetics and stats
It's like utility car (space marine) vs Ferrari (assassins)
Sure, assassins are stronger than marines. But organizing an army of assassins strong enough to conquer a planet will be a monumental task
I often find diacussion where some delusional think that space marine are supreme killing machines. Someone points out that spartans are stronger than space marine. Wich... yeah, I'm not gonna argue with that, I even think it's true. But a world can mantain a force of 1000 space marines, on reach there were only 16 spartan 2, and the entire unsc had 400 spartan 4 in all of it's territory. It's not a fair comparison
@@tirannusmark7ita679tbh. I dunno much lore of halo. But besides spartan 2's i think astartes are equal. Chief being marneus calgar level of power aka (Named ultra marine during Graham's rule)
@@eneram8846 their strengh is roughly on par. Space marine have more hacks like acid spit, super fast healing and advanced poison resistance, radiation resiatance and so on. Spartans have an energy shield that recharges with time. So in a shooting fight I will give the edge with them
If we count the war, space marine can read the memories of their enemies by eating them. Information is the most important weapon in war
A shame the imperium is retarded and can't handle them well. In fact, I would say that spartans uses tactics a lot better. Some space marine tactics is letterally running very fast and melee
Higher ups: “You completed the mission?”
Eversor: “Yes.”
Higher up: “and you were completely unseen?”
Eversor: “…Define ‘unseen’.”
Not by anyone still alive 🤷♂️
If nobody is left alive to report it, it’s still a stealth mission
No one will notice, if there's no one to notice
@@maninthemailbox6094 Eversor is every classic Video game Assassin main char, put into the 40k story
That higher up would be shocked the Eversor made it back.

That's me in hitman😂😂

I wonder how Games Workshop managed to base an entire class of assassins on my thief playstyle in Skyrim.
When a space marine wants you dead, you'll know it.
When a high lord of Terra wants you dead, you'll never see it coming.
or youll see it coming for a second before you die
That should be illegal to
Unless they send an Eversor. Then you will absolutely see it coming lol.

Or unless the space marine is a Night Lord or from the Alpha Legion
Minor clarification, the Eversor Honsou encountered was not on an imperial world but on a Ramilies Class Star Fort called Indomitable under command of the Ultramarines.
I love this even more because even past the star forts defenses and fortifications, even past an entire company of ultramarines and a whole boatload of Macragge PDF (who are probably pretty badass) the Inquisitor on the Indomitable was still like "yeah, the Eversor is my ace in the hole"

The Garantine, who was the Eversor assassin from the HH book "Nemesis", is still my all-time favorite member of the Officio Assassinorum. That guy took being an unstoppable, psychotic killing machine to a whole new level, but still had an ounce of humanity within him and saved a life just before his ended.
but he also proves they arent stronger then space marines. the eversor had to rely entirely on his speed by bouncing off the walls to kill the son of horus he was fighting and iirc correctly when the marine got a hold of him broke one of his bones.
The Garantine was an absolute chad.
@@watchonjar
You're just wrong though. They are stronger than a space marine. Remember that the assasin temples aren't held back by the Imperium's technological dogma.
The eversor Honsou fought tore through his squad like they were butter, these aren't just normal sm, but skilled Veterans from the HH. Then the eversor 1v1'd a Emperor's children champion and murked it with no difficulty, matching the chaos empowered blademaster blow for blow. Even Honsou admitted he was no match and was going to die if he fought the Eversor 1 on 1. Fortunately Honsou was saved last second by a large mutan CSM, and even then, while pinned to the ground, the eversor was parrying blade strikes from another CSM. You are just straight up wrong lmao
For a moment I thought you were talking about spear and I was going to say that guy didn't save anybody and killed anyone he could.

Thr Astartes got BUTCHERED.
Astartes even had thr drop on them and blasted the Versros aa they woke up out of Stasis...didn't help lol
In the Watchers of the throne novel, there was one Eversor assassin that was so fucked up that the grand master of the Officio Assassinorum sent it into the eye of terror. To basically fuck everything in a particular direction.
Lol!
Literally a Slayer
What orders did the Grand Master give the Eversor? I'm guessing something along the lines of "Rip and tear, until it is done"?
Eversors: *"HEY KIDS WANNA SEE A DEAD BODY?!"*
Everyone: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
small correction, the warrior that duels the eversor in the honsou fight isn’t actually an emperor’s children, he was a human champion of slaanesh. so really, hats off to that guy for fighting an eversor one on one, no matter the fact that he got killed in the process and that it lasted mere seconds, he survived orders of magnitude longer than multiple iron warriors
This is making me want a W40k assasin game. Each kind of assasin will have their own game theme like a calidus assasin being more like hitman or a vindicator being like sniper elite. The eversor would be like doom and I'm all for it.
Could you cover 5 of Tzeench's most complicated, longest and brilliant schemes.
Lol. Aside from Magnus's breakage of the human webway, I don't think there is one.
Tzeench is a meme, like the Alpha Legion: secret upon secret upon secret.
The kind of narrative trope that inevitably becomes too convoluted to solve without making major canon/continuity mistakes.
Hey good idea
Are you trying to break the poor lad? 😂

Play Warframe. Pick Ash, Venka/Ripkas, and guns of your choice.
Then go berserk on the enemies.

There was an audio drama about an Evesor trying to kill Gabrail Seth after one of Seth's own men looks him in a room with the assassin. The interesting part is the Evesor only exploded after Seth survives. Takes it back to the ship and lock's it in the same room as the traitor to explode. Can't remember the name of the audio drama though.
The Assassination of Gabriel Seth
I could’ve sworn that Seth uses the assassins detonation to escape the locked room. Then travels back to the ship
I think Seth cuts off the assassin's arm, uses its explosion to destroy the door, then takes the rest of the Eversor to his ship, where he leaves its body in the room of the Flesh Tearer Captain who betrayed him to the High Lords. Eversor goes boom, and Seth insults the Captain who betrayed him. I might be remembered incorrectly tho
Been awhile since i listened to it, so I probably got that part wrong. Sorry.
Didn't know Majorkill had a doppelganger 0:02
There's a short story somewhere where an eversor is unleashed upon a planet overrun by an ork cult. The planetary governor watches his progress. The eversor tears through the cult and ends up facing It's leader/champion in combat in an arena. The eversor ends up severely wounded after losing an arm but slays the champion.
The governor, who initially believed the eversor was targeting the cult, comes to realise he was the target due to him stockpiling weapons and other fun stuff to use to go independent and the eversor simply carved it's way through the cult to reach him as they were in its way.
The eversor, now with one arm, tears through his defences and enters his chambers. It then explodes in a chemical reaction taking out everone in its vicinity. Mission accomplished.
I love 40K for stuff like this
Just when you think you’ve heard about everything in the lore there is to know, the imperium slaps you in the face with something knew
Oh man, now I want to see the top 5 missions from the other assassins, Vindicare and so on, and also the minor assassins like the Venenum!
This video makes characters like Gabriel Seth look even more badass. Since he dueled and Eversor while he was unarmed and in an enclosed environment. The funny thing was that he won and survived with no crippling injuries.
That’s just bad and inconsistent writing from black library as usual. No way Seth should be able to beat an Eversor. But he’s a named space marine I guess so his plot armor is inpenetrable
Smell a hater..........

an evesor is like a TF141 operator from call of duty whereas a Space marine is a Spartan from halo.
yes one is good but one is BETTER.
Evisor assassins remind me of the juicer class from the Rifts TTRPG. Juicers were poeple with cybernetic and chemical enhancements to the point they were almost impossible to kill. They had the equivalent of 30k to 60k hitpoints, and 6-8 actions/attacks per round, and could run at almost 75mph. The trade off was their lifespans were reduced to just months atvmost.
Ahhhh I use to love rifts, thanks for making that connection
Yep, Juicers are similar
Eversors are also like bullseye from marvel and can turn anything into a deadly improvised weapon.
One such case an eversor was sent to clean out an entire ruling household that had turned traitor with a kill list numbering in the 100s on top of all the guards and other armed forces protecting them.
He killed so many he ran out of ammo and lost his power sword from over use and ended up just grabbing whatever he could to keep killing like knifes from a kitchen or a chair and then using the legs after it broke.
But the worst were a number of confirmed kills he got from using only a spoon which included his final primary target b4 being extracted.
*Eversor Garantine finally gets a 1v1 with a son of Horus*

I love how the reason they sent 6 was stated as the Imperium being logistically incompetent, and that the Astra Militarum was furious that that they wouldn't be able to recruit the abhumans anymore, because the six Eversors had rendered the entire population EXTINCT. Assumedly, the only reason only one of them survived is that they fought each other as well as the enemy.

Hands down this vid has been a most excellent presentation of the pure insanity that the Imperium of man can muster against its foes. While I'd love to see the other clades covered my first Officio Assassinorum love has been the Eversor assassin clade. This started with The Garantine and this fascination has persisted to the point where I wish he was my dad.
This video makes me want a 40k game where you play as an Eversor tearing through a chaos corrupted/xeno infested planets
the eversor and the solitaire being on even footing makes sense because they both rely on immense and undiluted speed to outmaneuver their targets. Then there's the fact that the solitaire is hopped up on enough warp juice to outbox basically anyone and the eversor is OD'ing on drugs like he's playing Fallout 4 and that makes their strength decently matched as well. But warp juice beats an overdose 9/10 times so it makes sense that the eversor still got taken out in the end
It kind of makes me wish that the Eversor sent after Tau leadership had at least done better. I wasn't really gunning for him to kill Farsight, anymore than I expected a Callidus to decapitate Shadowsun, and thus I was shocked when a Culexus merced Aun'va, but it might've been cool if the damage from the Eversor's attack, or eventual Terminus Gland trigger, had pushed Farsight to need to get a refurbished suit, or shaken up some of the Eight, to help cover why Farsight and them don't still field in a death star blob squad of suits, and rigs. Deadpool drugged into performing as the Kool-Aid Man will never be my favorite Assassins, but they are still awesome, and it was fun to get to hear stuff where they even succeeded, since lore can really enjoy using them as Imperial Avatars, and showcase some named character's awesomeness by surviving against the nameless murderer, whose failure also doesn't drag a whole codex, that depends upon it to be competitive, down. Here's hoping for the others!
I always kinda wondered if the Eversor process and the Thunder Warrior process were similar
0:22 sorry what ?
What if you give an Eversor a gene-seed?
They have a heart attack, shit themselves and die.
Imagine pumping a space marine with the same drugs
You might find the size and bulk of an Astartes works against how an eversor operates, also the organs and physiology of an Astartes may be resistant to the combat drugs
Eversor’s are like psychopathic, speed freak, John Wicks and by far my favorite unites in the 40k lore. Wish we could get a book dedicated to them.
Can you make a video on how advanced the imperium's civillian technology are? For example some worlds are described like they were in the late 19th century but they have holograms, and neon lights.
Oh hell yes. It would be good to know if the STC for phones(and fax, for lulz) and typewriters are still used. Wouldn’t surprise me if dial up was used by tech priests to control factories.
I can imagine it, a dance, a precise and calculated dance.

The imperium's drugs keep getting better and better.
"Oh great eversor of the imperium what is your wisdom" eversor: "Take drugs kill a tyranid hive tyrant"
eversors are what soliters would be if they were extreme loose cannons, and then we just see how much the soliters discipline makes them better. But it is a fun comparison none the less and doesnt feel out of the left field at all that ruins both unit types
Majorkill - I think the grim darkness of battlemace 40K (TM) needs your interpretation of imperial ...erm .... “Executioners”
I have painted three of them, all of them from the metal days. Not interested in the current versions though I admit the one perched in the statue looks great.
If you release something in this line, I’d be happy to add them to the army led by Shark Daddy.
You left out the short story where an Eversor is sent to assassinate chapter master Gabriel Seth of the Flesh Tearers Chapter. It's probably one of the most epic moments in 40k.

Its insane how OP space marines are, only to then be immediately absolutely wrecked by humans injected with drugs or psykers or space elves or green mushrooms or space bugs or undead terminators or gundams. Its amusing how they're so powerful but they're also the "basic" unit that more or less everything can kill and lots of things can just massacre
A Space Marine outclasses any of the regular soldier types of the other factions (Besides Chaos Space Marines obviously). But when you get into the other factions' special forces, that's when you need to send specific Space Marine factions to do specific jobs.
Like, if you need aliens to shit themselves and be scared, you send the Space Sharks. If you need supply lines to run smooth with a competent fighting force, you send Ultramarines. And if you want a quick victory, you send Dark Angels.
The only things that really clown on Space Marines are Harlequins (Considering they're Custodes level), Eversor (Which is like a crackhead with superpowers) and the more giant bugs are fucking magic.
@@AustinFoss00Your average necron warrior is comparable to a space marine, simply due to the warriors overwhelming firepower and durability.
