The Authority of The Believer (Part 3)

All believers have two ministries, the Kingly and the earthly ministry (Rev 5:9-10)
To rule on the earth, you have to rule from the heavens. And you won't have any influence on earth until you rule from your heavenly place in Christ (Romans 5:17). We have an altar to reign from but it's not on earth but in the heavens (Ephesians 2:6, Matthew 28:19).
Christ delegated the power He was given by the Father to us. He gave us the authority to rule. What is this authority?:
Authority is delegated ownership
Authority is the right to give a command and be obeyed
Authority is the ability to carry out certain functions on behalf of a government
Authority is the Power of attorney.
When Jesus rose from the dead, he conferred all authority on us believers The responsibly to take care of the enemy has been given to us.
We belong to a kingdom whose leader is the ruler over all universe.
There are three things that back up the authority we have been given (John 15:16; 14:13)
1. The power of God's throne.
2. The power of the risen Christ (John 14:13):
The ministry of authority is commanding circumstances to change based on the finished work of Christ so that God can be glorified. We have been sent forth and Jesus's name was given to us as firepower and authority. Part of Jesus' work in Heaven is to be the enforcer of God's will (Mark 16:20). The power of the risen Christ is behind us always (Matthew 28:20).
3. The power of the Holy Spirit:
The Holy spirit backs the spoken word with the ministry of angels. The job of angels is execution, just like any nation's armed forces (Hebrews 1:14). Angels numbered as seen in Revelation 5:11 can be said to more than 100 trillion this is much more than the number of people of earth.
From Ephesians 2:4, There are five ways we are identified with Christ:
1. Jesus died as a representative man, he took our place when he died, he died for us and as us (Gal 2:20).
2. When Jesus was buried we were buried with him. This is physically represented as water baptism.
3. We were quickened with Jesus when he rose from the dead.
4. When Jesus was raised to Heaven, we were raised with him.
5. At Jesus' coronation, we were also crowned with Him (Daniel 7:9-14); and all authority on earth, under the earth and in the heavens was given over to us. Phil 2:11 Luke 24: 49, Eph 2:6 , Psalm 110:1, 45:6-7,
The failure of God's plan on the earth is the failure of the church to exercise her authority and usefulness on the earth.
One of the purposes God gave us Jesus’s authority is so that the camp of the enemy will be made aware of Christ’s manifold power through the church. (Eph 3: 10-11).
Prescribed prayer (Ephesians 1:17):
1. That we may know the hope of our calling (Eph. 1:14).
2. That we are conformed to the image of Christ. That we become sons, so Christ can send us out into the world to do his works. The highest success of a minister is to build sons and to take people to their destiny in Christ. (Romans 6:29; Isaiah 61:6).
