Also Marius like many explosive athletes had a prime, and Big Z had a long career at a decent level, he was more of a static, slow twitch athlete as we saw in deadlift axel for reps where his reps were quite slow. Fast twitch athletes like Mike Tyson, Fedor Emelianenko etc have shorter primes.

Just before that split, Mariusz finish 3rd behind Vasyl Virastyuk and Big Z. Virastyuk would've been a serious competitor to win the WSM in those years (2005-2008), just as Big Z would've been. Just before Savickas left and when he came back, he beat Mariusz pretty easily in WSM competitions. Sadly, we'll never know who would've won what, but that era of Strongman was fun to watch.

A strongman saw a hot girl and Wenta bit crazy, he started to Pfister. Her friends saw what was happening, liked it and asked him "would you like to Marius?" He said "no" and he hurt their Felix.
And he won his 5th whilst having a torn calf apparently. He still managed to win by 5 points. Imagine how much he would have dominated if he was injury free for the whole competition…..

not that it matters, I put Marius and Terrys truck pull side by side and went frame by frame and Marius won by around .15 or .20 seconds.
