Building will swing when get a heavy wind...
Should be add one more column bearings under this.. Then may be building never shake.. The bottom bearings will shake when get earthquake....and the upper bearings (foundation of the building ) will be very leas movement.

I was wondering the same thing...
I think she used the bottle caps as the upper and lower sliding plates. It looks like she glued the caps in juxtaposition to one another, cupping a marble between them to serve as a bearing.
