NICE CATCH sharpen the knife, and heat up the oil!! I went out about noon to small lake near home, skim ice around the bank!! Although it warmed up to fifty. Got fourteen bluegill and a couple small bass. Deer moving all over the place bow hunters doing good. Can’t wait till rifle opener on the 15th👍
Hello J&S. I was wondering. Why come you don’t use those copper bells. I watch your videos all the time and I notice that when you have your back turned or not paying attention. You get a hit on your rod. I catfish all the time. I use the copper bells. Sometimes I walk up and down the bank. And if I get a bite on my reels and rods. The bell will get my attention. That way I don’t have to just sit and watch my rods.
Your first fish you said didn’t feel very big but with the big meat hunter rods do they ever feel big lol. I got a 10ft meat hunter custom 2 piece and sadly it’s way overkill for any fish in my area.

We would tie a rubber band on the string and sinker then when the sinker got hung up the rubber bands would brake then i would only loose a sinker 😅

No, it takes a pretty big fish to feel big. I just prefer the longer rods for the casting distance. Thanks for watching we appreciate it.
