Ok, please calm down, there’s now a vein bulging in your forehead and it doesn’t look healthy. I’ve got an idea! Why don’t you go on a Disney Cruise?
Heard of the Wish, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship? (Don’t make the mistake we did and call it a boat, that REALLY irks cruise people). Well the Disney Wish is currently wowing it’s earliest guests, and part of the RTT crew were on the maiden voyage!
Want to eat with Anna and Elsa in Arendelle? There’s a restaurant for that. How about dinner entertainment starring some of your favorite Marvel characters? They’ve got you covered there too, with Worlds of Marvel: A Cinematic Dining Experience. Want to be “immersed” in the magic of a Disney dark ride while enjoying the thrills of a water slide? Check out the AquaMouse, Disney’s first-ever attraction at sea.
With so much fun to be had out there in the big blue world we have to ask a very serious question: Is a Disney Cruise BETTER Than Disney World?

I do not have children and I am a proud Gold castaway club member. The Adult areas on Disney ships are truly for adults. On other cruise lines, I feel the adult areas are just Frat parties on water. It is all depends on your goal. I want a cast member to say, “ Princess would you like the drink of the day?” Goal Achieved!

Welp he did it! I patiently waited and it happened! He broke out in song and blessed us with his "Disney Splendor" jingle!!! 🙌🏼😁😄😆
I feel like if you have little kids and rides aren't your focus it's more about characters, HANDS DOWN CRUISE. Characters are everywhere and almost no lines if any!!! The rotational dining is so terrific and also has characters in most. There are also kids clubs that many kids love. If your child is independent enough to have fun with other kids and great well trained cast members at the free kids club, you may also get some adult time that doesn't happen for most people in the parks unless they bring extra help or pay for private childcare. There are also amazing broadway quality shows. There are so so so many more reasons I love WDW but would choose a cruise, but for toddlers looking for characters, the cruise has way more to offer.

DCL is amazing. I sailed Carnival several times before my wife and I chose the Disney Fantasy for our honeymoon. We've been 8 more times since, and have Alaska booked for this fall. We're hooked for life, and after my last Parks trip, it's definitely a better overall bang for your buck value.

I love RJay so much! I took my first Disney cruise in May. It was a game changer. Want to actually have a relaxing vacation with a Disney touch? Cruise! We went to Epcot when we got off the ship and it was hot, people were grumpy, it was not the vibe. Anyway, we have the Wish booked for next year and no WDW vacations planned currently.
I vote for Boaty McBoatface lol. Going on the Alaska Disney cruise in three weeks. So excited!

We went on a Disney Cruise many years ago when our kids were all under 13 or so. I found the food to be pretty good. The shows were decent. You could meet characters. At the time, the pools were mediocre and there was far less to "do" onboard than there seems to be now. I wasn't crazy about the itineraries, as they were basically the usual ports. Castaway Cay was pretty nice.

It looks so beautiful, would love to go, I'm sure the crew would make everyone feel so special. Only one thing, I keep thinking of the movie 'The Poseidon Adventure'. 😬
We love Disney cruises for our multi-generational group. Something for everyone. The adults just chill while the kids do their own thing. Entertainment is top drawer. Good food. Fabulous service. Great for adults who don’t particularly want to gamble or go to “adult” comedy shows.
We usually sail the Wonder out of Galveston (yes, Tianna’s Place is the best) but are doing a Halloween cruise on the Wish.
I remember when Disney had "the Big Red Boats" in the early 1990s and they actually had casinos on board because I won $20 at a slot machine.

R.J. - nice name for a ship...but Royal Carribbean retired Splendour in 2016. ;) Fun to see info about the ships even though my kids have developed a hatred for Disney this year :(. Too much has changed for them. I'm probably never going to go on a Disney cruise, so I appreciate seeing the clips. :)

Everyone on other ships is so confused since Disney is allowed to have fireworks in international waters. The reason no other cruise line can is because it's illegal for any vehicle to set off explosions unless it's a military or emergency flare situation. No idea how Disney bypassed that global law.
I really hope to go on a Disney cruise one day. I’ve been on Carnival a ton, but Disney magic on a cruise feels even more special

Comparing Disney Cruise Line to Walt Disney World is truly comparing apples and oranges. Both are amazing in their own ways, but they are completely different types of vacation. It's like choosing a favorite child - I refuse!

Would I go on a Disney cruise? Hahahaha no. But to be fair I'm not a fan of being on open water.
Nope, have no desire to go on a cruise - Disney or otherwise. I might be tempted by a Med. one but frankly, I'd rather do it by land. I have no problems with the ocean and boats, I'm a scuba diver don't put me on the ocean and then tell me I can jump in and go down below and play with the fishes and (Molly see this) the sharks. Nope.

I take a cruise to get away from everything Disney! lol....Thank god I live in south Florida, and not central. But I would rather give my money to UNIVERSAL!
