- Walking for Dior as my first show when I have 0 experience, just barely meeting the age and heigh requirement.
Oh man this took way too long to edit! Thank you David for helping me put this together. Sorry for the wait loves. I didn't include everything but if you have any more questions on my experience I'd be happy to answer them in my next video, so please comment them!

5’7 isn’t that short, I think most of them hire at 5’7. Most of models are like 5’8-6foot so your not that short:)

5'7 is extremely short for a runway model.
In real life it wouldn't be considered short. But in the modeling world it is short she would be considered like petite. 5'9 to 6 inches, is normally the required height for female runway models.
If you are more of an commercial model, height dosen't really matter. But if you wanna walk for Dior or these top brands, those are normall the requirements.

@@Leo-nh9ui trust me, most of the time the agency will lie for a model and say they are an inch taller or an inch shorter if needed. many models have confirmed it and if u looked at models with “similar” heights sometimes look different
edit: so if the model has really good proportions they can be passed as 5’8

Such a cool video! I myself have wanted to do modeling for a long time. Sadly, I’d never have a chance in hell- I’m just far too short. To see someone live out that dream made me happy though. About a week ago, i held a presentation about Dior and showed exactly this one particular Runway Show to my class. I‘m impressed, that you were one of the models and i‘m soo happy for you, you slayed it!
Man, you told your parents about a Dior runway audition and they agreed to fund your flight ticket and accommodation AND willing to make you skip school? My parents would never lol.
I think Dior paid, but yeah her parents let her skip school for her dream and a big opportunity.
I think a lot of parents would let their kids skip school for an opportunity like that. Especially, if it’s their kids dream.

My god u are literally living my dream. I’m 37 and in my teenage years I always wanted to model, I’m 178 but here in Italy it’s was so different back then. U had to have a portfolio, an agency, a manager, to actually come close to an audition. Good for u girl, u look fab and so professional on that runway. Ps, watch some mariacarla boscono catwalk if u wanna learn.
