- Just a first day test footage from Runcam Thumb Pro on 1s Whoop.
Quality looks good, stabilization not perfect. You need a ton of a syncpoints to make it smooth, and maybe a more stable raw footage.

this is really cool! i never imagined a nice camera on a tinywhoop but here it is. i have a tinywhoop that i goof around with sometimes but this makes me want to set up a nice lil rig like you have here for days when i dont get out with the big quads . thanks for sharing

Hello is where some legal (law) issues with 75 mm drone flights in city limits?
75 is stealth enough to not bother anyone. But its not legal to fly in city on any drone.

hi friend how to connect runcam thumb on FC ? have a external BEC booster for voltage ? or FC onboard have a 5v ? could you share ?
I run it through 5v pad on FC, this way it will turn off somewere near 3.4-3.5v
With external 1s 5v booster it can go lower

does flight controller have 5v to power up the cam?
All FCs have 5v pads :) yes
@@LeshaRodin Yes, all FC have 5v, but with 1S lipo battery I have some issue. On my Mobula7 1S elrs RunCam Thumb turns off in flight if the voltage on the battery drops below 3.6-3.5v. It is gives about 2 minutes of recording video, after that the drone can fly for another 3-4 minutes, but the camera can not longer record video.
@@EugeneKey Did you fly on ph2.0 connector? Because of voltage sag on it might cause problems. On gnb27 I have no problems, but Im not sure that I drowned batteries below 3.5v will check DVR later.
@@LeshaRodin Yes, ph2.0 connector.Looked at connector comparisons, ph2.0 is really not the best option, gnb27 connectors would most likely give an extra minute of flight with a voltage suitable for Thumb recording. But I think a 1s battery is not enough to deliver 5v over the entire flightable voltage range. Thinking of switching to 2s batteries as FC on Mobula7 supports them. I will only have to upgrade the motors and maybe change the frame from 75mm to 85mm. The goal is to assemble a tinywhoop less 100g weight flying from 5 minutes and capable of recording video in good quality.
@@EugeneKey 1s can provide 5v no problem, the problem is in BEC on FC, on old build with caddx loris I used external pololu bec for stable 5v for it. But I don't have any issues now with happymodel fcs and thumb pro

Había llegado a pensar que con esta cámara solo se podían hacer videos con colores súper saturados e irreales pero este vídeo me a dado esperanzas.
Es el mejor vídeo de esta cámara que e visto, se ve súper natural y agradable el color.

Coincido totalmente contigo. Al parecer si le pones un buen filtro ND para que pueda ir sin problemas a 24 fps y le ajustas bien la estabilización, ademas de grabar sin mucho cambio de exposición. La camara graba muy dignamente.
