I'll never have children. I won't bring them into this world consciously knowing the world is going to bully them, tear them down, and make them feel worthless for being who they are EVER. To allow my own children to suffer that kind of permanent damage is wrong, and on top of that our schools operate like federal prisons that encourage shitty behavior and drives good children to take their own lives. :(
He didn't get into the suicide but he explained how people would bully him when I saw him in NYC and I said out loud, "FUCK THOSE ASSHOLES!" and he answered back and said, "I did wanna fuck them in the assholes!" and he pointed at me and before he performed I met him when he was selling CDS and his merchandise and I told him it was true honor meeting him, he is such an amazing artist and he truly is. So watching this, tells you he's had a hard life as a kid and as an adult. And I'm so glad that he is here today, and he lives to make his music and art a true inspiration for others, as cheesy as that may sound but it's the truth ❤
My sincere condolences. I wish you had gone to my high school where you could’ve taken music, art and dance classes for credit. Everyone dressed the way they wanted. I’m a Gen Xer too.
"The best revenge is to outlive the Ba...rds". Someone asked me the other day if I mourned my abusive step dad's death. I guess my response, that since he donated his body to Science, it was a real comfort to me that he ended cut up into a million pieces on glass slides, wasn't what they expected... But it's much more fun to laugh than scream. I love Humanity--Don't TRUST 'em, but I like 'em, and wish them well.
