For me, the biggest clue of Sae being a talented learner was his statement to Rin, "You rely on your instincts too much" (when he asked what Rin thinks about whilst playing football). I also like that Wildcard Kunigami also had that tired face
Yep, there's a lot of indication that he's a talented learner. Like he's hinted at having meta vision and so far only talented learners have displayed it. I think he's similar to Kaiser in that they're both have skills leading to believe they're geniuses
@akiraendoji exactly. Most of the "talented learners" in Blue Lock initially thought of themselves as "geniuses" because of the ABSURD learning types and abilities they have. For example, I think: • Isagi thought of himself as a "genius of adaptability" becuase he's an expert when it comes to "studying" the psychology of the field (players' mentalities and stuff) • Karasu and Aiku are the best at Player Profiling (though their areas of "learning" differ slightly) •Reo is a monster when it comes to learning techniques. So it was very possible those guys mistook their learning for originality
@@tanatswamakara4700technically their learning is their originality which is why I think isagi and all talented learners are genius’s who play on handicaps wether it’s their own ego holding them back (reo) their environment (isagi) or a unique situation (aiku) they adapt to find themselves and once they do their true genius and abilities are found
maybe kunigami's face can give a hint to what Sae went through, maybe that face that they both had (Kunigami first exiting wildcard and Sae first coming back to Rin) is just the facial expression of having your dream or goal forcefully changed / having to change your dream or goal because of some other reason.
@@storywhatifs learners can't create something out of nothing, so to speak, which is what separates them from geniuses. For example, all of Isagi's weapons were 'learned', not created instinctively. By Ego's definitions, at least, that makes them talented learners.
I'm back, the video was meant to come out last week to match last week's episode but was busy. Anyway, just wanted to make a video on the alternative view that Sae didn't give up his dream because he wasn't good enough but rather he found who he truly was in Re Al.
I think the reason why he changed positions was because he realized that his skills and wepons are better suited as a midfielder and he didn't want to stagnate on his true potential, so he reshaped his dream of being the best but in a different position so he can become the best version of himself
Cuz he doesnt have the strikers instinct sadly. Its interesting since both him and Rin have the same god-given talent of kinesthetic intelligence but due to their ways of seeing the world, they use them completely differently. When you look at Sae's passes or dribbles, they are super formulaic. Its like he uses every possible advantage to wipe the floor with anyone engaging him. Rin on the other hand has to use others to restrict himself and force his talent to come up with ways of moving he himself didnt initially think was possible. Its a nice way for the author to show the differentiation between a genius and a talented learner, especially with the same talent.
That also reminds me of something Ronaldo "Phenomenon" said once, something like "it's the forward's job to always be prepared to score". If the goalie doesn't clear the ball right, or if the defender messes the pass, it doesn't matter, the forward has to be there to go and shoot it. That's why instincts are so important and it's interesting how Sae's aura is numbers, like everything is calculated, he's not relying on emotions or intuition, just like Isagi is currently trying to do.
Bro was there for 4 years, and if I am not mistaken Blue Lock takes places in 2018. He has been there since around 2014. Wanting to be the best striker then seeing the likes of prime CR, Bale, not prime but still good Benzema is enough to drain someone out, and that is not even seeing his opponents yet, the GOAT Messi in his prime.
I LOVE THE LUNA BROTHERS VS ITOSHI BROTHERS THEORY IT GIVES ME HAIKYUU VIBES OF MIYA TWINS VS KAGEYAMA AND HINATA WITH ATSUMU INDIRECTLY MAKING KAGEYAMA DOUBT HIS SETTER ABILITIES WITH THE GOODIE TWO SHOES COMMENTS I MYSELF JUST KNEW IT COULDNT BE LUNA BUT THIS THEORY OF A YOUNGER BROTHER NEVER CAME TO MIND YOU COOKED
Thanks Tsuki! Yeh, Sae and Rin have to team up eventually and very likely in the actual world cup. It could still just be Luna, but the idea that there's a future duo for them to overcome just feels more hype than overcoming a singular opponent
I’m happy you made this video don’t forget there was a interview with the author were a fan asked a question about sae and rin and he said sae dosent think anything about what happened between them when they spoke and thinks rin is just being rin
Yep, I briefly mentioned it in the video. It's basically a one sided fight and it's not like Sae has any resentment towards Rin, like even in chapter 147 we have Rin realise that Sae was right and was trying to tell him something.
This is a great video, but the whole time I was watching I couldn't help but think about that time you were shit talking Rins Backstory in the livestream with Suzel XD
Lmao, I stand by what I said. I still think it's a stupid backstory and Rin overreacted but after analysing it a bit more I understand why it's bad from Rin's perspective. Like thinking about this confrontation in life, it's just... idk how describe it besides over dramatic, like Sae wants to change his dream from striker to midfielder then he spends his whole life wanting to destroy him.
@@akiraendoji True dat, as the other comment about Sae pivoting to be midfielder due to him better suiting as talented learner, what Rin defenders (or more accurately Sae haters) overlook was how over both of their reaction especially Rin's due to that stubbornness. They both placed values on their relationship in football after Rin's 'debut' as it's obvious how much he was shocked by his reaction now that he have this experience playing for upper-tier club while looking at his brother become 'old Sae 2.0' whose 1.0 version ended up being inadequate to even continue their 'original dream'* WHILE 'cherished little bro'* himself being defensive about that. Duh. but even THAT needs explanation for some dimwits, -frustrating- hilarious. *edited part to consolidate the point
Akira can you please do a video predicting and ranking the top 20 best players in blue lock include the new gen XI exclude the pros Rank them based on full potential reached even though it's hard please do this🔥👍🏻
Nice video, I just wanted to ask if you have seen that blonde Guy in the stands who gets highlighted all the time? And on the newest episode there was a guy saying “you better hold off bluelock” these people were not in the manga and maybe have something to do with spain and Sae. What do you think off this?
I've seen them but I don't think they're relevant as players; they just seem like Sae and soccer fanboys and are used to show the publics general consensus of the match. Like coming into the match the whole crowd is chanting for Sae, that's why they're all there but once Blue Lock start doing well with Nagi & Rin's goal we see the crowd start to warm up and gain faith for Japan's future. You have the crowd slowly rooting for Blue Lock and being entranced by their effect which is something Ego states. We don't see it in the manga but the anime does a good job emphasising that the Blue Locker's are giving a great impression to the audience
Everyone thinks it was a striker(luna) that put him in his place. But i been thinking lately... What if it was a goal keeper? Potentially the new gen 11 gk
Would be fun if it was someone other than a striker too, I think the new Gen GK is the most hyped up un-announced character too and I can't wait to see a capable GK in the U20 WC.
Yep seems obvious to me and most people, but with all the Tensai and Shusai translations thrown around lead to some people believing he's a genius because that's what the story calls him earlier in the series before these ego types have been established.
They can when they train in stuff I guess especially since Luna has praised Sae before but they don't play on the same team in official games. Like Luna is a pro and so plays on the main team while Sae plays with the other Youth players in Re Al. It's similar to how Kaiser and Noa are both in BM but Kaiser isn't playing on the main team
Then what about Ashto. I think he is a Genius type because of his bird view and smell of goals. Thanks to that he was the best striker, but was forced to be a defender and had to learn and adapt to new things or else he would be expelled. Now did ashito changed from the genius type to the talented learner type?
I think Ashito's a bit different because the premise between the two manga are very different in the sense that Ao Ashi is aiming to be a pro while Blue Lock focuses on a striker's journey. I'd say Ashito is more of a talented learner though, we see he had good base stats and intuition like some of the other blue lockers like Isagi but ended struggling against better opponents until he was forced to be more creative like a talented learner.
You guys in the comments who do you think is More talented and who's going to be the better player based on FULL POTENTIAL REACHED with or without the plot Nagi or Rin 🔥😉
Akira who do you think will be the better player/striker(pure no 9) in the future The Emperor Kaiser(my 5th favourite player) or The King Barou(my 6th favourite player) 🔥😎💪🏼 I really like barou but im choosing kaiser(isagi 2.0)
Akira this can be a video idea for you or idk👍🏻 Give me your Ultimate Blue Lock Player you can use any 5 players from the entire series but you can only choose 2 traits skills etc from each of them it's hard to choose😁 Here's my picks Isagi-his upgraded metavision and adaptability Nagi-his insane talent and ball control Loki-his unbeatable speed and dribbling(no Rin🥲) Reo-his complete versatility and the chameoleon Aiku-his defensive skills and physique My honourable mentions🔥🥲 Gagamaru😎 Rin🔥🥲⚽ Sae🧠⚽ Snuffy🧠⚽😎

I never thought about Sae being a talent learner and hitting the same wall like Isagi. Great video!
Thanks!
Due to not enough challenges probably

double brother rivalry is SO NEEDED
I'm hoping so, the itoshi brothers finally working together is a moment I think everyone is excited for
I think the reason why he changed positions was because he realized that his skills and wepons are better suited as a midfielder and he didn't want to stagnate on his true potential, so he reshaped his dream of being the best but in a different position so he can become the best version of himself
Definitely a possibility too and I like that theory too especially since it also works with the idea that he's a talented learner

I believe that Sae will take part in the U20 World Cup
And he has to be captain he's the best player on the team by far currently⚽🧠

Someone said he'll be like Marc Snuffy
it was obvious sae itoshi was a talented learner

How are you still at around 3k subs? Talk about a crime!
Probs because I post so infrequently, hoping I get 3k by end of the year
