She was "Sujet" in the corps de ballet of the POB. She is not a soloist and made only some rare soloist performances in his career. This special performance was done before she retired. The author of this show make this performance as a testimony of a dancer about his career. Now she is professor in the school of POB (she teach the youngest girls). This is very moving and i never can see theses videos without tears in eyes.
Profondément ému et très touché par la prestation de cette artiste que j'ai regardé hier soir à la TV, au hasard en profane que je suis. Merci beaucoup Véronique de nous avoir ouvert ton univers avec cette humilité.
I remember her from the Opera when she was in her 20's.She is great, has aged gracefully.Extremely touching and brave of her!Dancing with no music no costume:she is really amazing, would have deserved Premiere danseuse even Etoile, considered that some who were much worse were appointed when P.Dupond was head of the company! Well done girl :)
I was shocked about her perfomence. I love that. Who is the she? She famouse balletrina in paris? Please recommend who konw the her. I really meet her..
I never became a star. I was not talented enough and was too fragile physically. The ballets i loved most to dance wre those of Marius Petipa, George Balanchine, Rudolph Nureyev, and Jerome Robbins. Those I did not like to interpret were by Maurice bejart and Roland Petit. A girl after my heart.
Chère Madame Doisneau . Une très belle vidéo de vous. Merci beaucoup ! Vous ne ressemblez pas tellement à Isabelle Huppert (que j'aime beaucoup et que j'adore également), mais plutôt à Natascha McElhone avec les cheveux attachés. Bonne chance à vous.
it's funny when someone said he doesn't like one thing and the next time he will pick up things that he doesn't like, Jerome Bel said something to me five years ago and now........

Dancing and singing a variation at the same time...... WOW.
This is beautiful and honest in its simplicity. What a joy! Ray
What a beautiful performance, a fascinating insight - thanks for posting this.
Beautiful artist! I enjoyed seeing what it was like to have a career in the corps.
