Great work!! I am an American OTR/Long-haul trucker and I drove that same .model of Freightliner back in 2012/2013. The only difference was my Freightliner had only one shifter a d not two. It had an Eaton-Fuller 10 speed standard transmission.
It's a pleasure to talk to someone who drives these trucks, being European and driving European trucks, I have a very hard time understanding and finding some details of your trucks that are missing in the scale kits... thank you for your support Soon
@LukePerryModelsChannel I have driven in Europe as well. My ex-wife is German and I lived in Germany for a number of years. I have driven all over Europe and I have driven all over North America. Keep up the great work on your channel.
@@LukePerryModelsChannel thank I’m looking to get in to car/truck model building and wasn’t sure if the wheels move as I would want them to move thank you for the information
because I think that the chrome parts of the kit are not very realistic, the Vallejo chrome instead makes them more beautiful in my opinion. but you only need to lightly blend with the chrome, do not paint completely
Read the description, it's not a fld, with a 120" sleeper. It's a fld120 that number is descriptive of it's weight class. They made a 112 also, with a shorter hood. Where and when did you get this kit? I can't find one! I drove one of these for 6/7 years and loved it! Want to make a model of my truck! It's a day cab though.
cool build but the seam lines at glue joins always drives me crazy on model builds as they do not exist on the real thing nor should they on a replica, but each to their own, i do love that you do not inundate is with voice overs and annoying music, i did sub to your channel because of the content
Glad to see I'm not the only one to add air lines and wiring to semi kits. Great job dude.

Per rendere un 1:24 rc altroché certosino, sono curioso di vedere il tuo risultato 🙂
This is fantastic and my next build. Could I ask did you respray all the chrome pieces with vallejo chrome?

Thank you that's great I really like the look you gave them hope you don't mind if I try to replicate
@DWModels no problem man! I'm really happy for this

Ooo very nice, I love the color!
Am tempted to get one sometime, were there any fit problems?
the only thing to be careful of is the frame ... on the length, the side members can sometimes be crooked due to a manufacturing defect
Al 💯👍
Hi me again what did you use to paint the orange lights i cant find anything good mine all turn out yellow. Thanks again
@@DWModels hey Man
For the orange i use the orange from createx illustration colors
Also for red lights
Thanks so much@@LukePerryModelsChannel
@@DWModels u're welcome!
can i use this model for RC?
It's too small for conversion to rc...
Anyway, with patience and hard work all is possible
👍! В моём наборе задняя подвеска была как в Western Star , и с радиатором были мучения пришлось подрезать. 🇺🇦
Привіт, варто купувати?
