  • I was given a vintage 1950’s Crafstman King-Seely wood lathe model 103.23070. I decided to build a new workbench to mount it on. This is part 1 of 2. Filmed on the iPhone 7 with the iPhone camera stand. Logo design by Brandon Kettle. Logo music is “Take Off” by Ethan Meixsell. Video music is “Viking” by Akash Gandhi, “The Big Beat 80s” by Kevin Macleod and Co., and “Lonely Troutman 2” by William Rosati.

Thanks for the kind words Jeff! I'd love to get a modern lathe and do more turning, but until then, this antique one will have to do. It does ok for simple things, but I'd love to turn bowls, and I would need a chuck to do it effectively. Well, good luck with your turning, and thanks again!

Merciful Stingray, first of all I apologize for taking so long to reply. I make it a habit to answer all of the comments within a couple of days, but for some reason I just now saw yours. I just started using the new TH-cam studio (I have been using the old creator studio until now), and the first thing I noticed on this new program were several comments I didn't know I had. I really appreciate your view and your comment! I'm a huge Monty Python fan, and that was the first thing I thought of when I heard that sound! Well, thanks again, and stay tuned for more videos!
