Notice how every, "You can try" or "You can smile" is met with a character that was faced with death (Uvogin, Pitou, Netero, Gon). That scene with Killua fighting Youpi should have been replaced with something symbolic of Kite, and that would have been unintentionally perfect. Great opening, and good job regardless though.
