Well, it's a different genre.
To me, cottagecore is about the past, a simpler life. While lo-fi is a companion for your modern every life of homework and technology 😅 ...in my words 🙈
But I agree, I also prefer happy music, sadly it's hard to find! I also like happy jazz, there's an Ambience video on _Cozy Corner_ that I can recommend, it's an outdoor café vibe 😊👍🏻
A message to all the people that are having a bad day!
Even if the days are rough, it will get better eventually, and if you think nobody loves or cares about you, you are wrong. There are so many people that care about you! If you're struggling through school or have a ton of missed homework (like me, Haha) or have exams that you're stressed about, just know that you can do it, and you've gotten so far in life! Whether you know it or not, one day things will be a lot better, and the sun will shine at some point. You are strong, and you've gotten through everything bad that life has thrown at you, and this time will be no different! You are beautiful in your own ways, and if anyone else says otherwise, they are wrong! Take care of yourself and get some sleep if you need it. Drink a lot of water and maybe take a warm shower or bath to relax, you deserve it! Stay a shining star, because all the bad things will leave at some point, don't lose hope!!

Listening to this while starting up the brainstorming process on a new story.
I'm calling it Project Bubbles for now because I've realized recently that often I'm far too critical of my ideas, and it leads to me getting burnt out from stories really fast when they had so much potential, so writing this story is meant to be like thinking like a five-year-old blowing bubbles, having fun, and overall, not caring what other people think. This music compliments that feeling very well!

Hey! How do you post music like this without getting copyrighted? I’m wanting to make playlists like this but i don’t want to get fined! If anybody can help it would be great!
Hey :) So I found most of the music in this mix on
websites like freemusicarchive.org where artists share their music with Creative Commons licenses allowing people to use them in videos. TH-cam also has a nice library of copyright-free music in TH-cam studio. You can sometimes use copyrighted music in videos if you don't mind your videos being demonetized. Often putting the song titles in the video description is what makes them get blocked, so write the titles in a comment instead. But the worst that can happen is that your video is blocked; I don't think you can get fined. Hope this helps at all!

Would this be safe to use as background music for an art stream if the video is monetized on youtube (with credit!)? I love it and would love to use it but don't want to assume
While most of the songs would be safe to use, several of them are under non-commercial CC licenses only. So while TH-cam might not flag them, you could still have issues. It would be safer to look up the artists listed in the description and check each of their licenses. (For instance, Kevin Macleod definitely allows his music to be used in monetized videos as long as he is credited.) I'm planning to create a list of the songs that might make that easier, but I haven't had a chance yet! Sorry I don't have an easier answer, but I'd hate for you to lose monetization because I gave you bad advice!
