    Love the video as always AJ, keep up the great work. Amorim changed the game with his subs and the timing of them. That was great to see.
    My opinions:
    Rasmus is our best attacker just needs better service and players close to him.
    Amad can be world class but need time and patience to develop but signs are good.
    Onana isn't that bad, he just needs to work on his composure.
    De ligt will be a rock for us for the next 5ish years.
    Nous is absolutely class, i can't speak his praise enough. I hope we find more players in his mold.
    Martinez is my favourite player but has been off but i believe he will be back.
    Rashford has been poor and i think its time to move on, great memories but we need to move forward.
    Bruno is good but needs to calm down 😂
    Zrikzee is too technical and i mean he is too comfortable because of how good he is on the ball and it seems to slow him down a bit.
    Garnacho has good enough but needs to work of his footballing IQ.
    Diogo has been poor but i have faith he can make it work.

    Great Video AJ! I'm seriously looking forward to see how Hojlund is going to affect the tide of future games. Amad is class, I love watching him play, and can honestly see him only getting better, he just has that spiritual element and composure that I appreciate a lot. Onana... Oh man... I just want him to get his act together and not make as many mistakes, I'm not a football player, much less a goal keeper, I'm sure he is more well informed about his job than I am, but I still can't help but feel some of his mistakes just come from a lack of good judgement and, sometimes, some lack of attention, otherwise, the skill is absolutely there (we've seen it in past games), and honestly, I really appreciate his mental fortitude, even after suffering some embarrassing moments, he tries to maintain his composure and his team's morale. As for the rest of the players, I won't say much yet, just that Zirkzee is by far the most interesting player on the team for me personally, I just think he's a bit slow, like a blue wale, beautiful, but slow, I can't help but smile every time he gets the ball and tries to do something outlandish.
    It's funny how, regardless of the deteriorated state of MU, and despite some of the losses, accompanying this new development of the team with a new coach and a new vision is being a lot of fun.
    BTW, if you wouldn't mind taking some suggestions: When you mention a player for the first time in the video, add a little pop up picture of the player, so we have some visual cue of who they are. I don't think that would be too much work when editing, and for recent supporters like me (I'm mostly here to see where Amorim can take this team), it's a huge help for getting familiar with all the players, and also just more visually enticing.

    I guess the team is more or less where they were, but Ten hag wouldn't be able to figure out how to fix the situation and it would prob end losing 0-1 or 1-1 at best. The value of someone able to read the situation and come up with a solution on the spot is a basic requirement of a coach or manager, is it not. So at least we improved in having someone that meets the basic requirement of a coach/manager. Well done Anmorium.

    • @HawkwindAus
      @HawkwindAus 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      I think that's a little unfair to ten Hag. There were a number of times in his first season when he changed the game with his subs. Not so much in his second season, but he was sometimes struggling to find 11 fit first team players. This season, yeah, it looked like he had either lost his confidence, or knew that his days were numbered.

    I'm actually happy that all these issues are being exposed, because not only Amorim is seeing that we need better players, but also the owners.. Amorim is getting an idea of the players that are worthy to play in his team, and I like that.. This is what you call a real process, sieve out the unqualified players 👍.. Just hope that the club will back Amorim with the best of their ability..

    De Ligt moving away from those two players wouldn't fix anything. He'd simply move so that the other player would cut off his passing lane. The other two players aren't going to stand still either.
    The idea you say is right in theory but it was an awful time to try and implement it. Absolute best case scenario De Ligt receives the ball under pressure from all sides.
    Onana was trying too hard to follow the ideal instructions and didn't apply any common sense.

    I wonder if this will affect the profile of wing backs we target now. Maybe the club will look at profiles similar to Raphael Guerrero, Miguel Gutierrez, Cancelo etc. Players who are comfortable out wide and centrally to allow for positional-rotations with the inside forward so that games where people like are play in the 10 position, it will allow him to rotate out wide with the wing back to occasionally get traditional wingers occupying the wide areas. We were playing into cul de sacs with Dalot and Malacia out wide.

    The fact that you mentioned deligt in the mistake shows how good you are...
    I think deligt was to blame more cos he seemed to be afraid of receiving the ball.
    By the time the ball is played the defender was not further from him on that ball.
    And that is a concern for me if a centre back is scared of receiving the ball in certain areas

    • @notharryhindsight7746
      @notharryhindsight7746 22 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +2

      I think it's on Onana. He could've have just passed to Mazraoui or Martinez. Onana usually passes to Martinez or Mazraoui so idk why he chose to pass to De Ligt in that situation. He was being pressed by 3 players. Just pass to the free man.

    • @charlieyertyr9961
      @charlieyertyr9961 21 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

      @notharryhindsight7746 please carefully watch the match again...
      The tactics has always been to drag opposition close and play connecting passes to quickly break free.
      Ofcourse Onana can choose an easy pass but a successful pass to deligt and he passes to mazraoui removes 3 or 4 players...
      Onana's pass was not perfect, don't get me wrong but deligt was scared of receiving the ball and was almost not aware of a player he should see...
      Why it is worrying is we can't play or build from the back if the ball playing keeper has no ball playing center backs....
      And u can watch deligt pass and receive the entire game, he seems to not risk it, most times playing back to the keeper when a penetrative pass is available and not moving into a ball receiving position if he senses he might be pressed.
      Same with dalot

      @@charlieyertyr9961yeah, I've watched it back. You are right. Onana actually tells De Ligt to move closer so that he can pass to him and he passes to Mazraoui but De Ligt keeps moving back because he is not comfortable receiving the ball there. I just think Onana shouldn't then force it to De Ligt. Problem is I think he was fixated on giving it to De Ligt that he couldn't adjust to passing to Mazraoui or Martinez because the opposition were closing in.

      Onana has to do better too... However,
      I was not so unhappy with onana at the misplaced pass as I was with deligt.
      I have seen edison, Allison, neuer misplace passes
      But I can't for the life of me understand why deligt don't want the ball. It took a while b4 the opponent closed in on him, so he wasn't even under pressure. Virgil, Diaz and co will eat that position anyday...

    The team selection against Viktoria Plzen last night was questionable again. The team should have been: Onana, Mazraoui, DeLigt, Martinez, Malacia, Casemiro, Bruno, Ugarte, Amad, Hojlund & Rashford.
    Subs: Bayindir, Maguire, Yoro, Dalot, Amass, Eriksen, Mount, Gernacho, Zirkzee & Antony
    Dalot & Gernacho are not starters, at present bench player at best. Rashford should get priority in his position, Mazraoui should start as wingback. Amad should start as right winger!
    Amorim is improving his team selection, pitch condition wasn't good but they stuck at it & substitutions saved the day!

      @roshawnjacobs413 7 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      Not really but there are similarities in terms of how the wingbacks link up. The difference is our wingback link up happens in the 2nd phase to switch play and keep the ball moving. While for leverkusen it happens in the final 3rd and usually converts to goals. Our system mainly targets chances for the striker, while theirs create more chances for the wingbacks to score
