Can’t take the long lines at airports, delays, weather conditions, babies crying, hillbillies, etc. I’ve done a fair amount of travelling and I have come to realize that there is nothing like home. I travelled in Canada and the USA for business. A Sheraton hôtel in Toronto or Dallas, they are similar. I have simplified my life and don’t feel like travelling anymore.
@@Originalman144all i wanna do each day is go to the gym, drink coffee, do a little work, cook, go on a walk. I can do all that sheet at my home without traveling anywhere 😅 I'm currently on travel in asia all I wanna do is go back home and go to the gym 😂 Fook traveling 😂
Poca Honkas Well, if you are traveling with no purpose and just a wanderer then maybe. But if you are traveling for business and building your profile and contacts and network then watching on TH-cam is a joke.
Traveling can be fun but I dislike packing, going to airports, being stuck on a plane-the process is just exhausting and not to mention traveling is expensive as well..sometimes I feel being tired from the trip is not worth it.
Andrew, thanks for being forward with your viewers. It’s important to remind people the pros and cons of traveling very often. It’s perfectly understandable why you’re taking this position. Enjoy!
I loved traveling , ached to retire and travel now I’m in a position to do it and I don’t want to. I found a $2 shop in Rome 2008 and wept and knew travel was over for me….same food, same shopping. , same rooms, same poor service, same flights…same people …. I prefer hiking, cooking, camping , gardening and cleaning and my job has suddenly become so much more interesting. I was born and live in New Zealand 🇳🇿 which is stunning.
I was Traveling so much but now I feel I’m in a faze of wanting that stability again and exploring my home deeper. You gain and lose something with every decision but it’s the experience that counts.
One of your great skills Andrew is giving voice to unspoken ideas that many of us have. Thanks for sharing personal insights as to why you do things or decisions you make.
Before, I wanted to travel to see new things. After a couple of years, I only traveled to my hometown of Miami and Las Vegas. Now, I don't even want to do that!
Agree, Andrew! Depending on the year, I've been either a full nomad or created a home base. Perpetual travel can create new problems and after a certain number of years, people's needs change.
I may never use these strategies in my life but I feel by watching these videos I can vicariously partake in this. It scratches the itch of my mental frustration. Thanks
tinglestingles any reason why you may choose a city with no access to international airport? Example Malacca will require you to travel to Kuala Lumpur to fly out of the country. In the case of emergency, you need at least 3 hours extra to reach to the international airport.
I just went to see RHCP in Vegas. I wanted to show my kids a good time and I had the $ to do it. We had a great time at the concert but everything else was a total disaster. In hind site I should have stayed local and saved $2k. Hotels are complete shit. Restaurants are complete shit. Airfares are complete shit. I wanted to have a great time for my family but everything but the concert was a complete let down. I will never make a concert a destination again.
Well interesting video, it just helping to people to make them understand and live life happily somewhere else. Georgia - Tbilisi is my favourite country.
Hi Andrew - great video. I have a question: How do you manage your personal residences in Montenegro and Malaysia etc when you are not there? I always thought that was the main drawback or concern about owning a personal home in a different country. I am not sure I would feel confident in having a property management company look after a personal overseas residence in the same way I would a property manager overseeing a large commercial property investment. Perhaps you might do a video on this subject in the future. Thanks in advance.
@@671bambi I do not know. He has done so many and that specific topic might not be in the video title which means it is hard to find. Can the Nomad Capitalist team please help and reply with this link?
I read your article on the five best world cities with the lowest taxes on business. I lived in Vancouver BC and it was a life changing time for me. Being from the Carolinas in the U.S., I welcomed the extreme contrast in culture. I’d like to know more about how to start a business in Vancouver and anecdotes of successful businesses ran by immigrants in Vancouver. Also, I’d like to see a complete breakdown of the taxes an entrepreneur would pay in Vancouver. Cost of living aside, I feel that, Vancouver is extremely underrated in North America.
I have traveled in 7 countries for 3 months. Currently, in Thailand to do a humanitarian mission(personal funded). I really enjoyed it but I'm ready to go home.
Hi Andrew! Do you have any tips how to get/manage close personal connections while having this kind of nomadic lifestyle? I assume getting wealthy is not what matter most in life and you have to have some balance so that you don't end up being surrounded only with your business partners. Btw thank you for the great content!
Nice vid i feel the same. I got my rotation and im happy like this.. Less is more and comfort has become more important. Travelling and staying abroad im poorer coutries has challenged me lately. Would you speak about this once? In financially poorer countries i have trouble finding likeminded people with success, healthy, high level mindsets. The countries inside just reflects the outside financial problems of course. How do you handle this to protect yourself? As we all know we become the 5 ppl we surround ourselfs with. On the other hand we have to have friends who will help in need locally in countries where one cannot rely on lawyers and police to help you. Its a tightrope
Meanwhile, on top of Covid, Australia is having another fire season. Having lived through more than enough of 40+C, I do not want to live there again, ever... So glad that I am struck in the Balkans.
Interesting video. Tobasco has done a great job of branding! I recognized the bottle at the very beginning of the article and found it distracting throughout the video
Imagine you’re a poor kid from india who never left their hometown, and you’re watching this video about a man complaining about travelling😂😂😂 first world problems
Well, don't romanticize traveling. You Indians have a vast country and surrounding countries, but also you guys have enemies within and surrounding so Indians are most likely to encounter problems due to religious and ethnic grudges. Hence, why Indians only go to US, Canada, and England. But I heard that Indians and Pakistanis have exported their historical grudges to Western countries as well.
Please tell us about what your clients with children do. Do they stay in 1 place? Or do they move around? How do they do schooling? How does a Nomad Capitalist lifestyle change with children?
Who can affor the triad approach? Instinctively, it just gets old and boring. People are the same. Many countries are just trying to rip you off. With three locations, you have all of them that divide you and keep you from putting down solid deep roots in one place.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I really don’t enjoy traveling. It’s expensive and really unrewarding in my opinion.
W B You’re doing it wrong and with no purpose. Wandering just to wander is for 20 year olds.

Yes! If I travel in the future I’m scheduling more down time, massages, sleeping in. I’m exhausted on my current trip. I don’t have to see it all.
Very good ,, honest review of 12 years of traveling and living the live style so many of us would like to start doing
