You say it is the same test but are you beating the second optic on the same object, with the same force, and the same repetition? Your linked video does not demonstrate the same number of strikes.

You're not gonna wanna hear this, but it's probably the mount setup. Right now you have the optic screwed into a plate that is screwed into the dovetail mount that is mounted on the slide. There's so many parts that can move around compared to mounting directly to slide, or mounting to a plate to a slide. Every extra part is just another point of possible failure I'd recommend testing that mount with another optic to see if you can repeat the results You’ll probably save yourself quite a bit of future headache getting a slot milled on the slide For reference, I've got one mounted on an Impact Machining plate which is mounted on my CZ Shadow 2 directly to the slide. About a thousand rounds through it, no issues

@@iPaintCars_215 I probably should address this in a video or something as this has come up a few times, long story short, I’m a strongman competitor, last year I got a really bad back injury at work, this in turn made it difficult and painful for me to lift and run, after about 9 months of PT I’ve gotten the ok to start lifting again and what not, sooo I’ve recently started on my way back into getting back into a shape that isn’t a potato lol. That all said me filming myself walk isn’t exactly that interesting.
I did after watching this video and a couple of other videos. It's far better than you can imagine. Shake awake, auto off, and 3 different reticles. Dude beat the living shit out of it and it still worked. That alone made me get one.
@@jamesandrews8699 power to you. This is a no for me though because it didn’t hold zero after one rack. In my experience there are better and less expensive options that hold zero on that same test. If that’s not something that matters to you then that’s your choice, that matters a lot to me so as of right now till I can retest it this is a no go for me.
@@FirearmsAndFitness I didn’t want to I went and got an sig red dot . I can’t trust the Lpvo after that I would say it would be good for somebody that is shooting airsoft or a 22. I don’t think I would trust their product with my life. I believe the company is trying to make it affordable for people, but like you said you get what you paid for. My experience is to save some money and get the better optic.
The only reason I bought the optic was because it’s my first time owning a rifle and putting an optic on it and I didn’t do that much research so I paid the price. I almost spent $100 on it. I would just say it to say LPVO for primary arms for those looking for an LPVO that is in a budget option.

I have this same optic on my Echelon never had a problem or failure doesn’t lose zero is one of the best optics I’ve owned. I also have their tactical light, lpvo, sling, iron sights, and many other products they are all solid this company does it right and this one video shouldn’t deter anyone from checking them out and using their products. And before you keyboard warriors start coming I shoot literally everyday rifle and pistol and I’m putting everything under stress with dynamic training.

I probably should have said this in the video but this is a sample size of one, so do more research. I would imagine the MOUNT is what shifted and not the optic but could be wrong . Just get it zeroed again and dont smash it until you save up some dough for direct thread OPTICS MOUNT
@@seanwhite304 I already have another optic in for testing so that’s what I’m the gun right now. After a little more testing with this I found I was having a floating zero, and with a little digging we think the ring on the inside that shifts the lazer is out of spec and moving around

brother, the SRO is a comp optic, not a duty optic, a trijicon wont take what you did, SLAMMING it full force(by a BIG BOY with some obvious strength) onto a flat object. Please, understand what kind of red dot youre putting on. especially on a mount? brooo I have the v2 version of the apex predator and it has held up through over 1000 223/556 rounds. but hey you might have gotten a shitty product who knows, all i know is everything I have got from them is impressive

@thePreparedFather I’ve seen and done the same thing to an SRO, I’ve done it with quite a few different optics, they market it as a duty optic, it should be able to hold up. If you don’t think the test is valid then it is what it is. It’s a non recommendation for me. I have a replacement in but have yet to get around to it as I have others in front of it right now. That all said, I find your statement false, any quality optic should be able to hold up to that minor bit of abuse. I’ve had to do it before in competition and in classes, if you lose zero from racking the slide off the optic then it really isn’t worth anyone’s time, especially for 300 bucks. Sage Dynamics does similar tests as well.

I cleared a jam using the optic (something I’ve done in classes and at comps with delta points, SROs, RMRs, and holosuns) and it was so off that on presentation I could tell there was something odd about it. The fact that you do not see that as a valid critique shows me you do not have that experience with these things or just haven’t taken a second to critically think why losing your zero after something that minor would be an issue. I’m not trying to insult you my guy, but we clearly value much different things Also I was talking about the Tacticon not the SRO
