@millenials_best I would say mainly when they feel unprepared to defend their opinion or lack an interest in the subject. That's how I am at least, primarily if it's a lack of interest otherwise I will explore new things with someone willing to share.
Start with the fact that calling yourself an INTJ is not it. MBTI is the psychology equivalent of the relevance of Galen's study of monkey guts in modern day medicine.
How to spot an INTJ: 1) Know where to look. You're highly likely to find an INTJ in a classroom, library, or bookstore, somewhat likely at a D&D game or videogame store, or occasionally zipping in and out of a grocery store, only staying long enough to get what s/he needs. You're highly unlikely to find an INTJ at a bar, gym, or any other place that is crowded and noisy. If you find someone lurking outside of such a place, s/he might be INTJ. 2) Know what to look for. INTJ females don't have a particular look, but INTJ males come in two varieties, thin, tall, and nearsighted, and medium height, heavy, and normal sight. They dress in all black or neutral colors, only occasionally opting for a sci/fi or video game T-shirt or T-shirt with a sarcastic remark. They don't care about fashion, so they will dress less expensively than they can afford. They do NOT travel in groups, except immediate family. 3) Know what to say. Any banal remark about the weather, the crowd, the situation, will get you dismissed and ignored immediately. An offhand comment about a science fiction book, movie, or TV show will spark an idle curiosity. A question or controversial opinion about some scientific topic will trigger an instant debate from an INTJ. "I don't think the boson exists, do you?" is likely to start an intense argument from just about any INTJ, even if s/he isn't particularly interested in particle physics.
As a fellow intj and being short af I completely disagree with 2 and even assuming personality is somehow linked to body types is stupid, also going to the gym is fine with headphones, practice your extroverted sensing nerd
Well there's stereotyping and how wrong you are. INTJ here, you will find me at the gym just as much as the bookstore, developing the mind and body. Covered in tattoos and dressed how I see fit with not a care in the world what the latest fashion is as I give zero flucks about your opinion. Want to get my attention, be strong, mentally or physically. Be intelligent and genuine, otherwise your a sheeple and not worth a second thought
Tested for a long time as INTJ. If I am not one then I am cusp. Feel more like an INFJ, and when I realized that the pivot in how I managed my career made a big difference. For me, knowing I needed to help others while also helping myself was key.
I doubt you are. I suggest you take the exam a few more times to establish an accurate personality type. The pink heart emoji is indicative of something other than intj.
@@michellejoy6752 Listen to me, ma’am, or whatever the condition of the heart is does not indicate that I am not like that, so what does it matter to you if I am or not? I have been taking the test for more than four years and all evidence indicates that I am like that, so do not take the test seriously, as nothing can measure you or determine who you are. Thank you as well. I put the pink heart out of respect and nothing more
@@michellejoy6752 Also, who are you to judge me through just a comment? Have you ever seen Elon Musk cold and uncaring...? I'm a female INTJ, and here's what I have personally found helpful. Schools typically teach from a "bottom up" approach, where they teach people little details first, and then teach them about the bigger concepts later. But past about the 8th grade, what I have found the most helpful is that I learn from a "top down" approach, where I learn the big concepts first and then fill it in with smaller details later. Rote memorization doesn't really work for me (and maybe not for most INTJs). 🧐

Thank you im INTJ and I'm on a massive research campaign about things that far outweigh the simplicity of daily life.
You forgot to mention that some INTJs just refuse to engage

Most of this is very accurate.
