Class 47s on Passenger Services

Back in the days when loco-hauled services were commonplace, class 47s could often be found operating services throughout the country. On a sunny May morning in 1993, several of these workings were recorded at Banbury on trains operating to such destinations as Dover, Bournemouth and Manchester.
