If you want to create something this ambitious, you can definitely do it, and as long as you look at your own work with a critical eye, you'll create a good game. Just be passionate about it. Look up some help from the internet and youtube, there are a lot of game design stuff everywhere. Feel free to message me if you want to, I can advise you depending on what you ask me, just know that I haven't made a complex game myself. Cheers, and good luck. :D

Just a word of advice, games take so long to make. All the coding, concept art, final art, graphics, and flow of all the characters so there are no glitches. Don't get discouraged after a few months, or even years! I like the idea, so go for it :)
