I just want to say thank you for showing the new products on your channel it really helps me make a decision on my future purchases when it come to new products . Thanks for all your help ! Alfonso
Amazing work! I just discovered inks. I only paint fantasy minis, I also just came back to the hobby after 33 years. I wondered how so many of the best mini painters achieved many of these effects. I never learned about glazing or inks back in the day. Drybrush highlighting and blackwashing were my tricks I first learned on how to make my painting better. I do miss the Polly S paints I used but I'm finding that Army Warpainters is great for getting back into it. I am adding some Scale 75 or Vallejo paints next week though. Thanks for explaining the use of inks and their properties!
wow i was searching for info on using inks and came across your video thanks , those are the best models i have ever seen painted great detailing and shading definatly subbed and look forward to watching more of your videos
Great Video! If I may make one suggestion, add a drop or two of some glazing medium before you apply to a figure. Inks have a tendency to stay suspended or float and causes tide marks. A glazing medium will correct it.
Great video, really like the results with those inks. Have you tried thinning them at all? I was wondering how they respond to Future Floor Wax or water thinning.
ezeva, Good question! The only way to highlight or shadow ANY type of camo pattern is to first shadow the base color and all following colors and patterns and THEN highlight each color and pattern. It takes some time but it is the only way that I know how to do it. Get a copy of the Calvin Tan book by Osprey "Painting Waffen SS Figures" - it explains painting techniques very well. Thanks for the feedback!

When would you use an ink versus a wash?
