I have been looking for a tutorial on how to finish a punch needle or tufting project and this is the first on I find that is actually informative. Thank you!
This is a clever idea. I am surprised that you have ends on the back. All of my punch needle instructors advocate bringing the ends to the right side and trimming them very slightly shorter than the loops.
No, I dont use any glue as the stitches are packed so closely together they all stay in place without it. If it was a project where I cut the loops on top I would have used glue. Hope this helps. Kim 😊
Sure. So this project is made using monks cloth (fine) and an adjustable punch needle. I sell these along with latch hook supplies in my etsy shop www.cupcakecutie1.etsy.com or you may be able to find them in your local craft shop. Hope this helps, Kim

Beautiful work and informative 😊🎉🎉
Thanks a lot 😊
Beautiful work
Thank you!
Hi, so you don’t use any stuffing or pvc glue to seal the back?

Beautiful rug omfg
What kind of fabric did u use for the backing? And is there any other alternatives please ..
The author wrote in a comment below that it is monk's cloth (fine). You can use burlap too, but it's not as resistant.
You can use wool fabric.
You can use felt fabric for backing
I am wondering if you use any type of glue to secure the loops prior to adding the backing
I dont use any glue myself but you can use a pva or latex rug glue if you wanted more stability.
Hey the backing fabric is hard felt or soft felt
Pretty! Thank you for sharing! Could it be washed at all?... without them unraveling? >< Thank you in advance! :)
No washing!!! I guess you could carefully spot clean it with a damp cloth though.
Iron on the back and you can wash
Iron on the back with flizeline and you can wash every day 😅
Классная идея! Спасибо что поделились.
Thank you so much for sharing ❤
You can’t use a sewing machine to just sew the pit side?
Yes you can. If you have an industrial machine or a special foot which takes very thick material it would work.
Where can I get this pattern?
Hi! Search mushroom wall hanging punch needle pattern on etsy and you should find it. Thanks for your interest! Kim
I'm way too lazy, I just use a hot glue gun and felt. It doesn't look half as nice, though.
Hehe I'm a fan of the hot glue gun too!
Que belleza me gustó mucho
What’s the back cloth called?
Its hessian. Sometimes called burlap 😊
But can you tell me what kind of cloth is required and from where we can buy the cloth as well as latch Hook
