Prepping for baby n°1 can be stressful, you want everything to be perfect. But you will buy things you won't use and buy other things afterwards. It's normal and everyone goes thought this. This concern is normal and means you already are a great mom!
I totally get the pram situation being stressful, so many options and then car space on top of it can cause even more stress. When I had my first we updated for an SUV and it was the best thing we ever did. Having space for pram, groceries and any other extra bits and bobs has been amazing and now I’ve had my second I didn’t need to worry about having the space for a double stroller and a extra car seat in the back so sometimes it is worth looking into getting something bigger for the convenience of it all. Love the vlogs!! Makes my breastfeeding sessions a lot more enjoyable ❤
Being pregnant and having anything else major going on in your life is very stressful. During my second pregnancy, we moved... we had no choice (my husband was in the army) We had to clean and pack our belongings... Plus we were moving to Northern Ireland and flying. I was 7 months (late oct) so it was just allowed. We arrived, moved in, settled our eldest daughter into school, visited a new GP, got booked into hospital for the birth, and in January our baby daughter was born. Once she arrived I relaxed.
I’d recommend upgrading the car, we did when i was pregnant with my second and were forced into it as we were crashed into, so was a blessing in disguise! Went from a Mazda 3 to Seat Ateca and it’s an amazing car, lots of boot space!! And both kids have the big isofix seats and have plenty of space!
The Peg Perego Veloce 10 Piece i-Size Travel System Bundle - 500 fits a Kia picanto boot and is a lovely all rounder set. Loving seeing this new journey in your life! 😊
I completely understand where you’re coming from when you have a baby you want everything just to be perfect. And once babies here they may or may not like whatever it is. With the pram I found that what’s best for us may not be the best for everyone else. We had the Ickle bubba that was highly recommended at the time and it was AWFUL we live in the countryside so needed one that handled rough conditions. In the end we got a cosatto the great British one it’s BEAUTIFUL 😍 it’s got British foxes on it that stimulate the little ones eyes you can also detach the bassinet to support you’re young baby- toddlers world facing curiosity. The bassinet has also been approved for overnight sleep 🥰. Plus it’s a hell of a lot cheeper at £150 than any other ones
Love this content, I've got 2 little boys and both times I think I've brought things I didn't need but definitely less with the 2nd. Best advice get the essentials but things you aren't sure on just wait till little one is here, you quickly realise what you need. You are going to be the best mum ❤️
Grace I have a ford fiesta and I have the panorama XT pram from Smyths and it fits like a dream. All I have to do is take the boot shelf off. It’s a full travel system and it’s not expensive whatsoever!
Small car I bought the Evenflo Shift dualride. Best baby purchase I made. Remember breastmilk can be given in a bottle cold. Saves time not having to warm it up. If you bought a breast pump by a pumping bra to go with it. Lastly, don't stress about needing things for babys. Babies don't need a lot in the beginning and anything you learn you need/want can be picked up at a local shop by friends or family.
One of my sisters got married, moved ( twice!) and had a baby in the space of a year, which was completely bonkers and super-stressful, as she also has a super high-powered job.
As a New Zealander in wintertime it is cold here... but we have a very temperate climate! Only the bottom of the country gets snow - a lot of us are still in shorts and tee shirts. What is weirder to think about it probably that we have sunny beach and bbq christmases, if that bends your brain!
Grace, you've come so far! I remember when you used to get all flummoxed going through the drive-in! Good for you! And that sweater at the end is adorable. Hope the week goes smoothly for you! (PS look up eating dates and pregnancy! I saw the other video!)
We have a small car and a small house and went with the Joolz aer + with car seat adapters to put the car seat on top. It’s fantastic we use it everyday!
Grace get an Out n About buggy hands down the best one I’ve ever head. Has proper wheels not plastic so you can take it on walks/on the beach whenever and it’s great. It does come with a separate attachment for newborns but when they are toddlers it’s the best! We also had a SNOO very pricey but extremely worth it take a look. Best baby carrier we bought a vintage TOMY one at a car boot for £1 and used it with our son who’s now 8 it was fab. For our daughter we had a Tula they come in lots of fun colours and prints. I like the ones with Buckles and straps I couldn’t be bothered with the faff of a sling wrap you have to tie especially if you’re in a rush. Do a nappy caddy in each room for when baby is born that way if they have a poop explosion you’re not running around trying to find changing stuff Don’t get a huge change bag, just buy a normal rucksack that you like that will fit baby’s stuff in it. Those one shoulder ones are so uncomfortable especially just after you’ve given birth. We used a Frugi backpack and it lasted years. When they get older to a toddler or even just a chunky baby have a look at a hippy chick seat. It goes on your hip and the baby just perches on it and it saves your back, because carrying around these babes and toddlers has ruined my lower back! Buy baby toys in charity shops or Vinted. They grow out of them so quickly and what they like changes, or have a look in your area if there is a toy library. So WORTH it! Good luck! You’re going to be a great Mumma! (Just for reference I’ve got a 2 and 8 year old )
Love your calming vlogs. Yes, I live in Australia and it's winter. When you put air on in the car, I'm rugged up on the lounge with a blanket and heater on, but ❤️ your vlog
In my Mini Cooper I had to get a stroller that has removable wheels in order to fit it in the trunk. I ended up going with a Britax stroller and then took the wheels off to shut the hatch and then put them back on when I got to my destination. Really easy to do as it’s just a single release button on the middle of the wheels.
Pregnancy is literally the most important job you will ever have (I know that you're tired of hearing that but I couldn't be a grandparent without saying it at least once!) At some point you're going to be too tired, too busy, too overwhelmed to deal with making videos. Out here in internet land, we'll be fine. We'll survive. Whatever you post, whenever you post it will be received with gratitude. Don't stress out over us. Best of luck and great good fortune for both of you! We had a small car when we had our first (small hatchback,) but we specifically shopped for, and found, a stroller which (folded up, natch!) fit into the back seat. It took all of the back seat, but it could be crammed in. This was long ago enough that no one had a second thought about putting a baby seat in the front. Obviously, compromises had to be made and while people's facial expressions of terror, shock and disbelief are quite entertaining now, those days are long over. By the time #2 came along we were smarter and had a minivan, which I have to say, was the best car we could possibly have bought for a family. An umbrella stroller will almost certainly fit into your car but they are for toddlers and entirely unfit for an infant. Don't be tempted.
The issue with TH-cam as a job is that the blasted algorithm doesn’t understand maternity leave. So they have to prefilm and have enough videos in the bank to be able to keep something loading on a regular enough basis for the algorithm to acknowledge the channels existence, even if it was actually filmed months back. Otherwise the creators come back a few months later and the bot won’t show videos to any viewers. It’s very frustrating.
@@dees3179 But surely it will if you are subscribed? Grace's videos come up in my notifications. But I take your point, not so much for those not subscribed.
Just in case you might be interested, Acuarela (the name of the Mexican restaurant) is the Spanish word for "watercolor". Hence the paint spots on the bag. Really cute logo, I thought. It's pronounced basically the way it looks, with the As pronounced more or less like in the word "father", the U basically like the vowel sound in "moon", and the E pretty much like in "bell". It all smooths out to something like ak-wa-RE-la. If you can roll the R a little, great; if not, no big deal. And if you can't get your mouth around the word at all, don't stress about it. It doesn't sound like you're in a hurry to go back there so it really doesn't matter. 🙂 All the best to you, Mr Grack, and Baby Grack. We're praying for you. ❤
If you want a compact stroller that suits most cars, check out the Joolz Aer. We had it since baby was born. First we used the bassinet part, which is completely foldable. After 6 months we changed it to the seating part. We still use it today, it’s held up really well. Plus it’s so light and easy to use.

Grace, thank you for these vlogs, i'm loving the content as always! From a long time viewer, first time commenter
Hey Grace, really hope you OK, from this video I really get the vibe that right now, you are DONE with being pregnant! It is completely normal ! I may be wrong 💯 but the result is so worth this final hurdle. You are doing great, God bless you xx
Everyone makes the same error, buys a ridiculous buggy and before the baby is six months they buy a new one. Lite and small Yo-yo+ best purchase. Good luck with final weeks you’ve got this ❤
We actually bought one pram for our first baby and have used it for our 2nd, 3rd and 4th babies too! Now with our 5th I’m not even using one. Such a waste of money like most baby items we’ve been convinced we need.
You asked about prams for small cars and as a mum of 2 babies I will tell you that I have a fiat 500 and got an Oyster travel system. With the seat and frame folded it fit no issues. But when the baby needed the bassinet I just had to put that on the backseat next to the car seat until they grew out of it lol 😆. When the second baby came along.... I changed to a bigger car.... my partners lol 😆 good luck ❤
I really recommend you look into the baby zen yo-yo pram. I was so hesitant when I first saw it in John Lewis it looks so flimsy for my precious baby! I was also really stubborn on getting an all terrain pram as I love walking! But really now a really know walking is best in a harness as pushing a pram even a really good one on bumpy ground is not fun. The yo-yo fits in small cars and perfect for planes. Plus not my toddler is running around it nice to have a light weight pram. I also have the Uppababy pram amazing but big and heavy! Massive basket for the supermarket shop
You’re going to find that a larger car will help immensely. My son and his wife bought a larger car when their son was born. They now have him (13), a daughter (10) and a 6 month old baby boy! They have graduated into a 7 passenger vehicle, which has made such a difference. Good luck and wishing you health!!❤
Watching this from the park in Mile End just cycled 30km stopped at a thrift shop , got some witchy things , now have a mango cooler from Costa while sitting on the grass and watching this blog 😅
We have a Renault Clio and for our first buggy we got a cheap Red Kite Push Me Fusion travel system. Did the job very well and can’t see why people would pay so much more for a more expensive one as it didn’t look like a cheapie. One thing I would say is don’t get one with too small wheels as if you’re doing a lot of walking they are a lot of effort to push and don’t do grass or gravel we’ll at all.
I have a Citroen c1 and managed to fit quite a large buggy in somehow haha! And also car seat fits fine 😊 I will say the carrycot part of the buggy had to go in the passenger seat but they honestly use that for about 5 months and you don’t need it anymore.
For the sleeping issue can I suggest manta sleep mask. I've just splashed out and got their one with Bluetooth headphones. I've always struggled with sleeping, but these knock me out. And when I really struggle and wake up etc I quickly fall asleep
I live in the US in Georgia and I can absolutely say that was NOT Mexican food Grace lol you’ve been had. Never seen feta and pickled veggies on a Mexican entree in my life
Yeah, a lot of ingedients we can't get over here, like Oaxaca and Cotija cheese, so they sub in Feta or Mozzarella. Tomatillos are impossible to get too.
Grace - my mom had a two door car when she had her first baby and she said it made it much more difficult to get the car seat and baby in and out. Just something to bear in mind.
You need black out curtains that sit above and below the window. I have some as i work nights as they are the best also it will help with keeping baby boy asleep while he is in your room great for sleep training
I had an Aygo so smaller than your car looks but I have already given in and got a Nissan qashqai prior to thinking about prams... It's a real struggle with a small boot! I am already enjoying the SUV life and baby isn't due until Jan 😂.
Have you tried a YOYO. They are amazing. For newborns they have the bassinet attachment. Then after 6 months you can use standard seat & it fits. into overhead luggage on all flights.
Heya Grace, watching from New Zealand where yes it is Winter! But it is super sunny and lovely warm at the moment where I am. Sorry to say but we ended up getting a new car after our son was born.... mine was just too little and the safety rating wasn't very high.
Lovely vlog Grace! Im afraid i cant give any tips on prams for small cars as we always had a decent size boot but would be worth booking an appointment for you and Mr Grack with mamas and pappas and any other baby shops near you as they will run through all the prams and car seats and you can try them in your car. I think theres also a website you can go on and you put your car make and model in and it tells you what car seats fit 🤔 Maybe keep an eye on Vinted for your croissant baby grows 🥰
Just remember friends and family are going to be giving you stuff, don't make the mistake of getting the common things like clothes, because you'll be given a lot and don't buy all the same size!! Babies grow out of them quick and they don't ware out the clothes.
I have a tiny car too, most prams don’t fit in my boot, I always put them in the back seat. But car seats fit but the passenger seat doesn’t have much leg room
I have a corsa and for my son I had the nuna mixx next, which fit perfectly in my small car and this time round I’ve gone for the Doona as no need to go in the boot. Hope this helps ❤
I'm one of your fans from New Zealand. I live in a little town called Whakatane. It's on the east coast - a beautiful place to live. My house is a bit cold when my heat pump or fire aren't going.
Congratulations Grace on all your news. Came for the Harrods food review and stayed for.... so many other videos! You are so relatable open, great work!
I suppose its too late to knock down the wall in the kitchen /dining room that would have really opened it up nicely, but I assume it is a structural wall and beams aint cheap
You got that right, about the beams! Holy cow they are expensive. When I saw the footprint of the kitchen, I thought it really was much bigger than it looked. It was just poorly set out originally. But then, probably when it was built people did not have all the air fryers, kitchen mixers, choppers, bread makers etc we choose to have now. I've cooked in a tiny kitchen for 20 plus years. Can always make it work somehow!
I don't think she's doing a "deaf voice" but she's just changing her tone in like a silly kind of way for emphasis kinda, like a personality trait. I don't think it's new.
Grace, there’s no photos of your kitchen or lounge (around the 1:00 minute mark) 🙈 I’m sure it’s chaotic though. Having kitchen redone is a big job - and a messy one at that!

I’m only using the baby wrap for outings for our fifth baby. I can’t believe I wasted all that money and many years carting around a pram too.

For sleep I recommend a silk eye mask and chamomile tea cxxxx
Watching this from the park in Mile End just cycled 30km stopped at a thrift shop , got some witchy things , now have a mango cooler from Costa while sitting on the grass and watching this blog 😅
Blackout shades are really good. :)
Becoming a mother and sharing how it feels when performing the parental role will make your videos interesting, instead of only eating food
I have a Citroen c1 and managed to fit quite a large buggy in somehow haha! And also car seat fits fine 😊
I will say the carrycot part of the buggy had to go in the passenger seat but they honestly use that for about 5 months and you don’t need it anymore.
Baby prep if you aren't sure you need it don't get it, amazon prime is a game changer
I wish they make adult clothes as cute as children clothes. Stinking cute.
Grace - my mom had a two door car when she had her first baby and she said it made it much more difficult to get the car seat and baby in and out. Just something to bear in mind.
Thank you much love xx
You need black out curtains that sit above and below the window. I have some as i work nights as they are the best also it will help with keeping baby boy asleep while he is in your room great for sleep training
I had an Aygo so smaller than your car looks but I have already given in and got a Nissan qashqai prior to thinking about prams... It's a real struggle with a small boot! I am already enjoying the SUV life and baby isn't due until Jan 😂.
Happy birthday Grace!! (it’s the 24th here while im watching this) ❤
I absolutely love my Meaco fan!!!
Excuse me 😩 the kitchen and the living room looks like this never entered the screen! 😩🤣🙈 xxx
I would love to watch more baby content. I have a three month old son (currently sleeping next to me in bed) - and I ADORE him, so happy for you!!!!
I think theres also a website you can go on and you put your car make and model in and it tells you what car seats fit 🤔
Maybe keep an eye on Vinted for your croissant baby grows 🥰
Those sunglasses look great on you 😎
I love my Dyson fan. It’s quiet.
If you feel like a cheeky collab, Bryony over on Precious Stars Vlogs is a hidden gem for all things Prams!
also, you most likely had quest fresco in the Mexican bowl, its a. Mexican cheese usually added on Mexican food, its similar to feta :)
Hey Grace, love the blue dress on you!
Air con doesn't work with the doors open but you can use the re-circulation button to cool the inside down a little quicker.
When you leave the doors or windows open for a minute the ac pushes out the hot air and allows it to cool quicker.
Grace, you look so pretty. 🇩🇴❤️
Where ya going Bob? To the store Bob. What for Bob? For rhubarb.😂😂😂
I have a corsa and for my son I had the nuna mixx next, which fit perfectly in my small car and this time round I’ve gone for the Doona as no need to go in the boot. Hope this helps ❤
Try Jane for pushchairs… i had a corsa when I first had my baby and it all comes apart and fit and lasted until my baby was 2 years old
I'm one of your fans from New Zealand. I live in a little town called Whakatane. It's on the east coast - a beautiful place to live. My house is a bit cold when my heat pump or fire aren't going.
Each car seat will have a manual of what cars they are compatible with if that helps! 😊
Grace isn’t anyone throwing you a baby shower? Or do they not have those in the UK.
They do and probably 😊
I can just tell, you're going to be the best mum!
Congratulations Grace on all your news. Came for the Harrods food review and stayed for.... so many other videos! You are so relatable open, great work!
Australian here (South Coast NSW). It's freezing. Currently watching this at 8am and it's storming 💀
14:03 nooo i was waiting for her to say grackamole
I suppose its too late to knock down the wall in the kitchen /dining room that would have really opened it up nicely, but I assume it is a structural wall and beams aint cheap
You got that right, about the beams! Holy cow they are expensive. When I saw the footprint of the kitchen, I thought it really was much bigger than it looked. It was just poorly set out originally. But then, probably when it was built people did not have all the air fryers, kitchen mixers, choppers, bread makers etc we choose to have now. I've cooked in a tiny kitchen for 20 plus years. Can always make it work somehow!
Grace you should maybe get a reusable cup for all your drinks! ❤
She's got a zillion!
GRACE, came up a fun content idea - testing blindfolded (perhaps with someone, eg papa Booth
I need reasons why you didn’t love inside out 2 pleaseeeeee
awesome video grace
Why does Grace keep doing a deaf person's tone of voice? 13:23 and 18:53, I've heard her doing this before? Is it a joke or??
Actually 13:22 and 18:52
I don't think she's doing a "deaf voice" but she's just changing her tone in like a silly kind of way for emphasis kinda, like a personality trait. I don't think it's new.
Sleep mask. Especially the kind that are dented for eyelashes. Never slept so well in complete darkness
Sainsburys do croissant sleepsuits!
Grace, there’s no photos of your kitchen or lounge (around the 1:00 minute mark) 🙈
I’m sure it’s chaotic though. Having kitchen redone is a big job - and a messy one at that!
Hehe you definitely want a bigger higher car, you don’t want to constantly be leaning down to get out the car seat and babyyyy
Ahhh I went a vlog back to try to get your opinion on Inside Out 2 but I think there's not many comments on it because you didn't go very detailed in your opinion. I would love to know your whole opinion and reasonings why you didn't really like it!!
Did I hear you say "for his going home outfit"? I don’t think I’ve seen where you’ve said the sex, but I only watch vids on TH-cam so I may of missed it of course! Exciting times x
it’s a boy! she posted over on insta and tiktok ☺️
Donna grace doubles as buggy and carseat
I swear a lot of Google reviews are fake! I’ve been to so many 4.9 start places that weren’t that good, but at the same time I’ve had absolutely amazing food at places rated like 4.1 stars!
Hiya Grace if I wanted to send you something, where would I send it?
Babies don't need any where near as much as we think they need.
a little salt in Mexican food goes a long way
You need black out blinds too
❤
Keep moisturizing your pum a loooooot Dont forget❤
:)
