This honestly looks so yum, I would love to try fufu one day. I love the starchiness of plantain and cassava so I imagine I'd like this too. It's so intriguing that theres not only so many different tastes in Nigerian food, but also textures and how dishes are meant to be consumed. Indigenous cuisine in New Zealand tends to be very plain, basically just seafood and meat with sweet potato cooked in an underground oven - no spices or oils. Another favourite maori dish is essentially just slow boiled meat bones usually pork back bones with potato and a common garden weed. Is it easy to make fufu at home? Or do most people buy it from a store?
