I picked up a few rocks in the tailing pile of a mine. Ill crush them to see if I can find any Gold.

I think I'd extend the exhaust chute down into a bucket of water to settle the dust. That would be a lot better than inhaling that crap. Ultimately, the material is going to get wet anyway.

I've got the same crusher,your losing flour gold in the dust flying around, take a pair of long John's cut one leg off an tie it off,then place the waist band end over the crusher making sure the leg is in a bucket,when done crushing turn long John's inside out an gently shake out into bucket,you'll find flour gold.😮

Couple of things....and you will already know these.
Guarding of your machine. I would hate to see you scalped by getting those golden locks wrapped in that coupling and shaft...you were very close to it.
Silica dust.....wear a mask or respirator. Silicosis is very serious and affects you more rapidly than Asbestos.

Fools gold pyrites @2:26 going into your pan... Try a hammer on your "gold" in the pan to see if it crushes or just deforms like real gold metal... Good luck! No mask, add a fan to blow dust away, use jetdry... Geez Jack...

i bet you would be able to crush it if you had one of those handheld xrf gun machines to take out to your tailings spots .. portable xrf machine is expensive to purchase but you can scan a chunk of ore and it will give you the amounts of gold and you can tell before you ever crush the ore if its got gold or not and how much in each rock before you grind them...i think this would be a awesome tool if you can afford to buy one because you dont really need to guess what tailings are good and what the ore will have before you crush them up .. have you ever used an XRF gun? and do you have any thoughts about how they could be used in your area?

I just picked up the rocks that looked like it was good gold ore. Dark purple black reds contact zones.
Where is those Stones from .is it on surfaces of Earth or underground

No. Well maybe. I never tried. But I think it was to small of gold. Thanks.
