I started playing soccer for fun with my brother when I was little but I didn’t know how to actually play, when I was 10 I started to actually play house league, I went for 2 seasons and than covid came so I couldn’t go anymore, i realized i wasn’t really learning anything bc the two teams I played for didn’t have practice, we did games every day without any experience, because I didn’t start at a young age like 5 I wasn’t anywhere as good and I barely know anything, now I’m 12 and I really care more for soccer now and it’s one of my dreams to become amazing at soccer, my brother is in rep and he’s been in an actual club since he was 6, he’s teaching me the basics skills so that I go straight to rep with more experience, does anyone know if it’s possible for me to get as good as people who started at a young age like Ariana dos santos? she started at 3 and is 11 now but she’s incredibly amazing idk if I can get as good starting at 12
focus on all these games, get strong, coaches will pick someone who gets the ball as apposed to those who can handle the ball, they're looking for speed. It's very short sighted but very few want to actually develop players. watch messy and naymar for ball handle and sight of the field. watch alex morgan and ranaldo for finishing... good luck :-)

as long as you really want it and put in the work, time, and dedication; absolutely. best of luck!
