Obviously you're not old enough to remember but he is the lead singer of The Guess Who...who originally made this song famous. It was muti platinum for them. Casey's version is awesome but it's extremely hard to beat the amazing voice of BURTON CUMMINGS! TH-cam it or google it for some knowledge before you spout off needlessly.
These Eyes is the title of both. None of the same lyrics.
Lots of songs have the same title. But this song has nothing to do with Burton Cummings. Although maybe Casey was inspired by the Guess Who track.
