@@danielsgarden9283 you'd be surprised how many and how seriously people ask questions like this.
@@carmenatkinson1877 that’s honestly ridiculous it’s almost as annoying as when Americans say chewsday innit, bottle a waer or fish n chips to us Brits
@@danielsgarden9283 it's all good
We make fun of Americans anyway😂 I feel like some banter between countries is fun.
@@carmenatkinson1877 America = shit anyway
6:53 George when you get tested for allergies they put different substances on your arm that people are commonly allergic to, these are the spots from said substances
i should i know i have them alot for me
I rlly like the way ur bandana is placed on this video btw👍
Very satisfying
George as an American I can tell you if you don’t have health insurance here (which like half the country doesn’t have) a medical bill is a death sentence
3:41 brilliant use of a metaphor by big George
we also dont have other wildlife roaming around unless you're in a reserve in south africa
Once my house in South Africa got robbed and trashed by baboons, my mum, dad, sister and I had to lock ourselves in the bathroom and wait for the mum to leave
This vid made me feel so old!
Cheers mate
8:22, yes. They label ur arm with different allergies, then they put some on to see how ur skin reacts to it
You could buy 8-10 hearts on the black market for the price of getting covid in Seattle... America really is screwed
Hearts are cheaper than I thought they'd be
@@Liltinasmile even cheaper than kidneys which makes no sense considering you can live with just one kidney
@@Josh_Swartz I question your investigation methods
@@D.KlWA-aG Me too lol. After googling that shit, I'm probably on a watch list now
about the South Africa thing. if you arent living in a game reserve then that would most likely never happen, but for the most part everything is pretty urban
8:07 "Thank you this is my Ted Talk"
Perfect upload time, just got to lunch at school let’s go
Health insurance companies haggle with the hospital which people are supposed to do but they can’t unless they’re like a lawyer. Also after the insurance they have deductibles where you still have to pay even with the insurance
Just a complete scam
6:04 no george mate south africa isnt much like that at all but it is a fun place you should visit sometime come on tour here if you ever do a tour (its nice and sunny and full of adventure and beaty) its a good idea to go to cape town if you ever come
As a Restaurant worker, I can confirm we buy massive tubs of sauces and fill up our small sauce bottles with them.
8:24
I got a patch test/allergy test once, ironically had a (very) minor reaction to the glue on the medical tape used to keep the samples in place XD
7:02 Two pints, as we used to say when using imperial measure.
1:03 I couldn't understand why you had so many cups with uncooked rice in them, and how a woman could pee into 20 of them in such a short time. 1) It was a cat 2) Stupid American units strike again, for the second time.
As a South African, no, we usually don't have lions outside our houses, and we also don't ride elephants to school etc.
Hey George you and James should watch Shaun of the dead and drink everytime a zombie is on screen
Hi I'm from South-Africa...and yes that Lions video is 100% accurate. Unlike other countries, we keep our Eliphants OUTSIDE at night as protection.
I’m from South Africa and I can confirm that lions do not just rock up to your house and swim in you pool. It probably at a game lodge
thoroughly enjoyed the shitalk on america lol
6:54 allergy tests are done by putting a pad on part of the body with various things you could be allergic to on it. This is the result of you having an allergy to all of the things on the pad
As a South African,we don’t have lions or giraffes walking around. That was most probably at a safari lodge or something
7:20 George I can confirm restaurants do do this as the place I work at has a 10L tub of mayo and god knows what else
As an american, yeah we need to stop american. I'm lucky enough to be a dual citizen so I can get the hell out of here once I have time (as long as I pay a bunch of money to the gov so they take away my american citizenship so I don't need to pay taxes there anymore)
1:33 That sounds like a kid in my math class.
George talking attempting to talk like an American sounds like an American attempting to talk like a British person
1:52 Yeah funny thing about that is that you can still get those 7-digit bills _with_ insurance if the insurance company just.. decides not to pay.. comes up with some bogus reason that "oh, THIS specific thing isn't listed in your coverage even though it's like a subsect of something that _is_ " Yeah, I'm leaving this dogshit country as soon as I'm able. I fucking HATE it here.
As a South African that watches your videos
1. Wtf why are there lions right at his house
2. No it doesn't happen often😂
6:53 That's not a rash, it's an allergy test on an arm
Seems like that person has it bad
6:55 thats the test they do to see what things you are alergic to George-
I'm with you on that one, love a window seat.
George getting confused for 9 minutes
Yes South Africa is like that once I had a girafe steal food from a fruit bowl we left outside
I’m a viewer from South Africa! That lion this isn’t a common occurrence, sorry to burst ya bubble lmao. That was probably taken in a game reserve hostel, but still could happen I mean! Also, pools are a fairly common house addition, we get some mad summers so they always hit different. It has its issues, but it’s a blessing regardless
When Jim carrey in Ace ventura wasn't a parody of the delivery companies.
2:24 bro they've done that already 😂
6:06 no the lions get poached to much by “natives”
From South Africa and god do I wish I was able to see a lion first thing in the morning🤣
Keep up the good work GeorgeM
As an Australian, I have way to many snakes in my house
The first one made me cry
4:28-4:31 it reminds me of the amazing world of gumball episode the vase where Gumball Darwin and Anais have to get rid of a vase from their grandma granny Joe Joe so gumball tells Darwin the best way to have something destroyed is have it in a package marked fragile. So he orders it and Gary Hedges delivers it but tries to destroy it but it’s still in tact when he gives it to Gumball. This proves that Gary Hedges works for Fed Ex.
I think US hospitals calculate their bills by how much the body part they needed to treat would sell for on the black market.
6:07
Almost got eaten by a lion once but no, not specifically where I am in South Africa. But we do most definitely get baboons digging through our shit and sneaking in with the intent to eat literally everything
I'm from South Africa and no, this never happened although I did see a buck/antelope while at a wildlife resort in the morning
For the sauce post Mr memeulous we store it in fat tubs cause it's cheaper and then we spoon it into the bottles...however...I work at a shitty local pub at 6 pounds an hour so it's probably different at other places
6:00 That is nothing. In Australia every time we go outside a drop bear will drop down and try to kill you. Everyday just fighting drop bears, lions got nothing on them.
australia is just a soulslike
6:08 I swear to God this is collectively the entirety of South Africa's biggest pet peeve. Sure we're considered a third world country but it's in no way like that lol. The fact that mfs actually think that shit and propagate that idea is insane to me. I've seen lions twice in my life and they were at game reserves we had to drive hours to get to
As a South african I can confirm that I live amongst lions
Vid idea: watch all the hone alone movies and every time someone gets hurt, you drink
“Do you really need more than an inch-“ - George
As a South African yes we ride elephants to school and my pet lion has his own tribe now his name is willine he is a good boy my elephant is james
5:18-5:48 wait phone jail is real? I thought that was a diary of a wimpy kid the deep end joke
