I've noticed the increased attention to your TH-cam channel, introductions and tutorials. Being in the states it's hard to make it to your twitch streams. @@KenseiTV You should reach out to the devs of these games and see if you can get a bit of official support as a play tester. I'm sure they would leap at the chance for a skilled rts player to comment on them.
Your Alien Marauder videos are pretty much like ASMR to me man idek why. I'm not the easiest person to destress and relax but this always works fine. Keep doing these and TABS, those are great!
As a starcraft diamond player(from 2012-2015) + a newbie player from They are billions (I bought 2 week ago and I´m managing how to complete the campaing in challenger difficult XD) this game looks at same time a mega mod (like Dota from Warcraft 3) and something what feels very fresh in the Industry ( I mostly play hardcore rpg/ rts games nowadays) P.s. I hope this game get more recognision in the next months it looks like a solid beta
@@KenseiTV Yeah , TAB is being a fun and at same time a frustrating process to learn rn I´m over 60% campaing(when I complete I´m gonna repeat missions on harder difficults after watching yours 800% . Keep doing this variety videos fo some of us is the first contact to these amazing RTS . From rts veteran to hardcore tryhard strategy videomaker much respekt :)
The game looked like a safe and hardly iterative version of TAB that is basically a reskin made to pull in more korean audience, but it seems there will be enough differences to make it stand on its own.
Mutants are the one thing I hated about TAB. You can play almost perfectly but when the Mutant decided to aggro in the wrong time, you just lose. Wouldve been nice if the Mutants were consistent but I had games were Mutants got pulled from like 2 screens away.
i wonder if the lack of walls was a design decision to encourage the use of the guards. there sure are enough upgrades for them to warrant their viability over towers. i kind of like that there is a distinct playstyle difference between the 2 commanders. it's something that most games with a commander mechanic overlook. edit: unit pathing might need a tad tweaking... particularly at the end when your units decided to suicide rush the incoming waves. not game breaking to me, but if there are going to be no walls, then you really need your units to not abandon positions leaving you're defenses vulnerable as hell
Running it now, it's seem like bits are much easier then there are billions while on the other hand unless you run last stand, it's a very slow process of progressing..Getting the research done is the challenge [for me atm)
This is, IMO, way more fun to watch then Age of Darkness and Riftbreaker. Age of Darkness is terribly slow and everything is so dark, small and indistinct, basically everything looks the same. And Riftbreaker has really hectic and jerky movement, makes it tiresome to watch in my opinion.

I wanted to post the Riftbreaker campaign but wasn't enjoying it and don't think it was an enjoyable video. Trying survival next which I'm hopeful for, so will probably post some of that.
Funny that you call that arbitrary, the whole rule that it can't build walls could be considered arbitrary... The rules aren't entirely based on logic in the first place, why would this guy not build walls if he can't be everywhere at once? The rules are what the designers make them based on balance and diversifying play-style, apparently they found Towers to be either needed or wanted to keep them in for ease of play...
the turrets in this game are so incredibly lame for their look. MASSIVE turret with a huge cannon, large missiles and small missiles..........you get a tiny PEW once every few seconds......oof

I think it will be different enough. Initially I thought it was too close but after playing a bit I like what I'm seeing so far

I think Mutants made the game worse. Being able to pull one day 2 with rangers is not good design

Pretty sure the lack of walls is intentional. I like that both heroes play quite differently with the changes to units and buildings.

No. Only hero levels up. But there is various researches to make units of a certain type better.
Baldur gets an upgrade that lets melee units gain veterancy, but not normally
