At 0:08, the Shins are driving under the Fremont Bridge, an iconic Portland highway bridge which was referenced in the lyrics to "Port of Morrow" from the eponymous album: "Through the rain / And all the clatter / Under the Fremont Bridge / I saw a pigeon fly".

man the first song i herd from these guys was from phantom limb and that song was amazing and the video was to i remember seeing the music video to Phantom Limb in the hard rock cafe in the city and i said wow this song was amazing i have to go home and listen to it again and now there on my lists of favorite bands ever so i thank the hard rock cafe.

I've known of this song for almost as long as it's been around, mainly due to this song's inclusion in PGR4, which is still a solid game by all means today. But that's besides the point, what matters is that this song is so bubbly and cheery, and it's great as a "summer song" as a result

I know what the song sounds like lol. I own the album actually. What I'm complaining about is the QUALITY of the audio. The audio portion of the video is compressed before it is sent to your computer and then decompressed before your computer sends the audio to your speakers. This process makes content load faster and conserves bandwidth but it also degrades the quality of the sound. You can use higher quality audio compression and improve the audio quality of the audio but you have to increase the video quality to do so. This video's highest quality setting is 480p which is really poor quality by today's standards.
