So basically ending A is like you left the responsibility of your kind but since you are the last kin, nobody would blame you if you leave. Ending B is you join the White Priestess of Fount (Possibly the first white priestess) to hold and endure the blight forever with her, meaning you're not actually purifying it. You're just containing it for a bit longer. Similiar to normal ending from Hollow Knight. Ending C is you craft the item, bring to the bossfight, and trigger the second phase so you can weaken the boss even more. And then with the help of the relic, you purify the blighted white priestess of the fount. She thanks you for restoring the relic to its glory, and to fulfill the longing hope of citizens of the land's end, to be free from the blight. And then you left, as the last white priestess, the one who ended the blight that has been overrun the place for milenia.
Slight correction: Fretia isn't the first White Priestess. The "first" White Priestess of Land's End was Nymphalia, the White Priestess of the Dawn. Fretia is her granddaughter, making the White Priestess of the Fount the third in Land's End.
After the "good" ending, you can get a relic item near the bench that keep the pure aspect of Lily during the Boss Battle. A small detail for a great game
I finished ending A kind of by accident, but i'm happy with it. Like, as i killed the bosses i started to realize the transformation of the girl, and i started to see all the girls dead and their tragic stories and i started to worry more and more that she would get the same fate. I was really happy when she leaves and get to live freely. Now that i know how to get ending C, i'm going for it the next time i play the game.
The second ending was a tear jerker, to watch her innocent body ravage by blight really hurts and to be one with the priestess in an eternity of torment 😭😭😭.

Ending B is so hurtful! Fretia begs Lily to leave, but with her wounded body, Lily still tries to get to her and touch Fretia! And then the sad music plays at that part so beautifully! So sad!

It was clear it had some meaning behind it, so I decided to gather more items before the final fight. I got the C ending, and it left me with the feeling that I had just played a masterpiece. I loved it!
I'm so happy I managed to get ending C as my first ending. White priestesses take on the blight unto themselves when they purify the blight, this being the source of their pain and suffering. That's why Lily's appearance becomes more blighted as she levels up and purifies the bosses. Note then that the weird thing about all this is that after purifying the absurd amounts of blight in Fretia, Lily's appearance becomes LESS blighted. The aegis curio shouldn't have this effect (it only lessens the suffering/impact from the blight). My theory is that since Lily merged into Fretia in ending B (they "became/being as one"), perhaps Fretia merged into Lily in ending C (thus We'll always...be together..." as the backdrop becomes pure white) and it might have affected the blight Lily purified and had within her somehow. I am VERY invested in the story, but it hurts that things are so vague. On a happy note, if Fretia is indeed merged with Lily, then there might be a chance in the future that her consciousness might reawaken and she properly reunites with Lily. Fingers crossed!

It was a touching but sad ending, she is purified and if free from her ultimate task but it is so sad that she has to separate from her first and only friend and the hugging part she did made me tear up. Ending B i felt so sad because of her noble choice. She is only a child and she chooses to sacrifice herself to help get mother seal the blight that was leaking out and her mother even pleaded her not too but she still did in the end. Lastly ending C the most touching and honestly my most favorite ending out of the many games that i have played out of my entire life. She saves the kingdom, saves her mother, does a proper burial for all those who didn't make it, survived and lastly is able to do it all with her friend still by he side.
the sad part is even with ending C, The young priestess herself is not purified, you can clearly see her with a bunch of blighted biomass hanging all over her head and body, and her hair still remained tainted.
It's rare for a game to feature good, bad, and neutral endings that I like all of them for different reasons. Each ending speaks to a different theme of family and duty between mother and daughter. Ending A is one where the mother allows herself to take on all the burdens at any cost for the sake of her daughter's well being and freedom, The mother bids farewell to her child as the child departs into a new world never knowing the depth of the burdens her mother sacrificed for her all along. Ending B is one where the child allows herself to take on the burdens alongside her mother even at the protest of her mother. Both become trapped in the cursed duty handed down to their family but they are doing it together as one. Ending C is one where the daughter manages to surpass her mother. The mother passes the torch to a new generation as she looks upon her child has finally become a full fledged and able adult that is able to steer the future

Of all the things that are really powerful about ending C, the fact that she gathers up and properly buries the other Priestesses always stuck with me
